Hurt Everybody is out of this world on “Before The War.” The Mulatto Beats and Twin Peaks co-produced record exudes a hallucinogenic acid from the start. Even the cover art shows anime Supa Bwe, Carl and Mulatto Beats looking down at fallen thatched buildings, in a starry, post-apocalypic landscape. The emcees have some powerful stories to tell too, and they do it in a completely new street-fantasy fashion.

Carl is up first:

“I can see the future through my blind fold
You was with me, that’s till time froze
Saw the heart was melting, needed alka-seltzer for that helter skelter”

Supa Bwe rounds out the second verse:

“God damn man the Chi do this to a nigga, don’t worry bout me bitch get’s you a nigga
hand me one more tall boy, old style, 16 ounce
We gon’ T the fefe up, gun shots shut the fefe down”

Look out for Hurt Everybody’s debut mixtape 2K47 to drop on July 4. They dropped the title track last week.
