The interesting thing about this hopeless romantic trap record is that Boosie Badazz and Chris Brown both have high pitched voices. The shrill sound of Boosie‘s rapping voice sounds similar in color to Brown’s singing voice, so when Boosie says “she don’t love me like she say she do” over the hook, it blends with the Brown’s accompanying harmonies.
The rapper is playing no games now that he’s on the outs. He’s crafting huge records with hugely popular artists, which is exactly what he needs to be doing if he’s going to hop back into the mix. As of now, Boosie is slated to have Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Rich Homie Quan, Keyshia Cole and Webbie on his first post-prison release.
Touchdown 2 Cause Hell is set to release May 26.
