    1. Kendrick just brought heat!!! Rapping over a hip hop beat with substance and pur lyricsm!! Drake your turn to actually try such! Kendrick also brining back that section.80 feel to it, love it!!

    2. Kendrick depending on OVO to sell records yet again. Swimming Pools produced by T-Minus, this song produced by Boi-1Da, Poetic Justice featuring Drake.

Drake and the whole OVO crew have changed hip-hop for the better. #6God

      1. It is the beat that makes it such a fresh song. Isn’t it? Before he even raps you know it’s a banger.
Then he shares an opinion that the average well nigga already has, but good4him and his followers.

      1. I hope you’re trolling, have you heard logics metropolis? It’s an exact ripoff of sing about me I’m dying of thirst, except his emceeing is worse.

    3. I’ve listened to other relevant hip hop this year and I’m becoming more and more convinced that Kendrick is on a whole other level. When I hear him drop songs like this following socially conscious tracks like i, I just can’t make an argument for anyone being this captivating. Kdot makes these other rappers talking about money and bitches look like children who don’t care for matters that actually have meaning. Shoutout to jay electron and rtj as well for making a difference with the opportunity they’re given. Music can change us for the better and this is the essence of a message that we haven’t started to realize as humans. If we can’t tolerate a brother with different color skin then we need to reevaluate ourselves and change for the better baby.

    4. Beat is fresh, the flow is good. The angry voice seems forced. The lyrics are uplifting and thought provoking, but it’s nothing new. Most intelligent black people already feel this way, and he isn’t presenting it in a new way. Song is good but nothing mind blowing. 8/10

    5. kendrick will never become a superstar like jay-z, with a mainstream appeal, not saying that it’s a bad thing, but that’s just the way it is. he’s the next nas.

    6. What’s this song gonna do besides stir shit up? Where’s the new mindset to eradicate this thinking. Heard this all before. even the i video didn’t have many white people or other nationalities in it. Pro black still has racism roots. He’s the biggest hypocrite because on his album he’s gonna go back and forth between fuck your ethnicity and pro black. that’s what they want us to do, BE INDECISIVE that’s being CRAZY!
We as people have to take a route and stay on it!

Why does hhdx only breakdown his songs? Like he’s the only ill artist on the planet. Beak everyone’s songs down!
To advance Hip Hop and keep the real culture going!

    7. AGREED. KENDRICK ALL ABOUT LYRICAL SUBSTANCE..BUT THAT ENDS THERE. NO CHARISMA NO MAINSTREAM APPEAL NO FLOW AND LETS NOT FORGET HE GOT NO IMAGE APPEAL TOO..THIS 5’FT TALL ASS NIGGA WILL NEVER BE AT THE SAME LEVEL AS A DRAKE OR A JAY-Z (ON ALL PLATFORMS THAT IS)

    8. It’s Black History month people. I don’t think Kendrick is sending mixed signals as far as ethnicity and representing a movement. If this was a July summer release then yeah I would see a point but nothing wrong with shouting out the struggle and having pride about who you are during Black History month. Besides I think Kendrick was taking a shot at Logic that’s my conspiracy theory but my first point makes more sense. Lol

    9. BIGGEST HYPOCRYTE IN 2015.

      TALKS ALL PRO BLACK

BUT IN THE END KILLS ANY NIGGA THATS BLACKER THAN HIM. HYPOCRYTE.

      we do this…

    10. THE LAST TWO LINES SAID EVERYTHING. BLACKS DONT HAVE TO BE HYPOCRITICAL ABOUT WHITE POLICE KILLING THEM. WHEN THEY KILL THEMSELVES…
KENDRICK IS NOT UR AVERAGE RAPPER..

      1. I never cared much for the “Illmatic album. “It Was Written” is Nas’s best album by far, but I agree with you. Nas is definitely overrated. You can also include Jay-Z, Eminem and many others in the overrated category.

    11. This is amazing…

He is clearly talking about black people and how they kill each other in the streets and how he is a hypocrite because gang banging they will kill each other but then will riot together when a white man kills a black man.

Deep stuff man. “You hate me, and I know that because you hate yourself” C

      1. Such a great track for African Americans. I’d pinpoint the finger and say he is addressing gangsters though, not just black people lol. Great Pro Black track!

    12. I wish people would understand that in my “hood” its not a black and white thing…its a neighborhood vs police thing…regardless of color.

    13. This song is great, everything about it is on point. The beat is fire, Kendrick is in the zone, man, I look forward to hearing what the rest of the album sounds like. After this, and I, the rest has a lot to live up to.

    14. bout time you faced those demons… be conscious of the things that get promoted in your work…. artist should & will be held accountable.
      1love

      1. Kendrick isn’t trying to be anyone more than who he is. Pac was Pac and Kendrick is Kendrick, the era of Pac is over, allow the innovation of hip-hop to take place.

      2. Kendrick is not just being his self nor is he blindly into PAC , it’s obvious he’s like a mixture of PAC and himself , we are seeing PAC through him and he’s continuing PACs legacies perfectly ! What else do we need ? King Kendrick forever !

    15. Trayvon Martin’s murder should not be compared to gang bangers killing each other. After his ferguson comments, I did not expect much intelligence from kendrick. and this track solidifies that for me. His social commentary is deeply flawed. 3/5.

      1. He’s speaking on the perception the black community has on black lives. They care so much about the trayvon Martin injustice but will go out and commit a crime just as heinous against a black life but won’t hold themselves just as accountable or consider it as bad. Regardless Youre are taking a life and it’s a mindset as whole we need to get away from. All lives matter no matter the reasoning.

    16. The beat production on this is banging but his constant repeating of ‘biggest hypocrite in 2015’ is just stupid. There’s something about Kendrick’s voice now that also annoys me, it’s like all scratchy and shit now. It’s like the production on his vocals was off too, so it’s a raspy voice recorded all wrong which is just a double fuck of bad.

    17. Song gets the buzz through ur skin. Tough af. Like a breath of fresh air compared to wheelchair jimmy and ross bitch ass

    18. This is hiphop on point ! The BEST !
Kendrick not only display words , poems and metaphors , he makes it raw too for you to get feel it ! No one is at his level in raps / hiphop !
