That is because, G-Unit are the “bad guys” of Hip Hop, they don’t get along with most people, and that blame is on 50 of course lol, that is why even my younger sister thought that these guys are washed up, but coz I’m a fan, I made her listen and she also became a fan. My point is G-unit is the dopest group that drops real shit, and it’s just the media that makes people think they stopped being hot, these guys just became too successful and they started fighting, they never stopped being hot. They came back and I still put them at the top as a group, but as individuals, I agree they still need to work on marketing themselves more

Dude Most rappers have their specialty. 50 Cent and G Unit always talk about Guns, Drugs and Violence Because They are GANGSTER Rappers that’s what they Specialize in. And for the last 15 years they are the most consistant and the best to do it in that category (D-Block only other real competition) Dude I get it if you are not a fan of gangster rap or only like it once in awhile than G Unit is not for you but a lot of people enjoy that type of rap. Yes rappers like Nas and Jay are versatile and that’s why a lot of people enjoy them. True hip hop heads do enjoy G Unit because they appreciate all categories of rap. You can make the same argument about dudes like Talib Mos Def and Common “they only rap about the same shit” it just happens to be positive so people don’t criticize them like Gangster rappers who only rap about Drugs Guns and Violence
