Artists are probably ASKING for these type of beats from Mustard (which probably take him 30 minutes to make), and then paying him anywhere from probably 20-40k to do so….And ya’ll are mad at him for that? What’s he supposed to do, say no? “You know what, I know it would only take me minimal effort to make the EXACT type of beat you want to make – hell, I could sell you ten of them if you want – and I know you’re going to pay me forty grand for it, but naw i’m not interested in all that money for such little work.” …Get the fuck out of here.
