    1. this dude changed so much man damn i can’t believe this is the same guy from the slim shady lp and the marshall mathers lp anyways I love Em and he’s a legend, but I just don’t feel his flow anymore this song was lyrically good but the earlier magic in his voice long gone i think retiring is the best option for him he did his thing in the rap game time to give up em

    2. shadyXV will be like MMLP2…only crappier.

But still better than 100% of the shit everyone else puts out…lol

    3. People who say MMLP is “Pop” haven’t listened to the actual album, see when u market a eminem track with a product, it blinds you from actually listening to the track itself. The lyrics from survival were dope, but the fact that they marketed it with COD Ghost, u automatically call it pop, same with monster, because it has Rhianna It’s automatic hate. Listen to songs like “Bad Guy” “Legacy” “Rap God” “head lights” how is that pop?
Don’t get me wrong your opinion is your opinion just like mine. But MMLP was a great album if u give more than one listen, and actually dissect all the Triple entendre’s, guess the younger crowd is more into trap beats and melodic singing, nothing wrong with that tho

    4. This track is beautiful. I’ve been battling my self daily for years since ive overdosed. Since MMLP2 was released I’ve awaked and broke up wit fear. His so called “not the old em or pop shit” it gave me a reason to pursue this. A meaning to continue. The last few weeks I’ve been scared…but listening to this has uplifted me more than the night i tied that rope, stop it and decided to just vybe out to MMLP2.

Let alone his unique delivery with rhyme schemes and bars within bars.wordplay. punches. Entendres. Multies. Metaphors all without forcing it

This track is real and it speaks smoothly. Sad if you can’t respect it.

      1. The statement “Let alone his unique delivery with rhyme schemes and bars within bars.wordplay. punches. Entendres. Multies. Metaphors all without forcing it” was in regards to the MMLP2 album

This track delivers nice, cadence with a smooth choice of wordplay

    5. Slim been sleepwalking since Eminem Show. He woke up for a hot second with that Mariah Carey diss, but dozed right back the fuck off afterwards.

    6. Finally a meaningful Eminem song. I think he has been having trouble finding inspiration lately with mmlp2. But he found it in this.

Soulful. Lyrical. Smooth. 5 stars. Em is a legend.

      1. Why would you think of retirement. Some people said that on his last album and in his album he says this is all he knows how to do cause he dropped out of school. I don’t see him retiring and for a musician to retire at 40 something is crazy anyway.

    7. I like this because he’s admitting to what I’ve been saying forever, which is he has nothing to rap about anymore. After his 3rd album his songs were the same thing over and over…Either pretending he’s goofy/crazy or doing teenage angsty songs about his cast of family members. I’m glad he himself said it so the white boys won’t get mad at me for saying it now too. lol Also find it ironic how he brought up the whole early Nas comparison, because this song feels like a dumbed down, popish version of his song “Surviving the Times”. I feel like certain artists should just take their money and retire…Jay-Z, Eminem, 50 Cent, J Cole, KRS-One, LL, etc They all ran out of original ideas a long time ago. I’m not impressed

      1. Uh, I agree with pretty much everything except J. Cole. He still has meaning in songs and he expresses himself better than most rappers (in any era).

      2. i.e. see Rich Niggaz, Kenny Lofton, Can I Holla At Ya, Be Free, Tears for ODB, Revenge of the Dreamers title track, his verse on Cold Blood…J. Cole still got it and is underrated.

      3. Power Trip is was the best hip hop single of ’13. J. Cole is a breath of fresh air in the hip hop world. He has the perfect balance of radio/party tracks and real shit like Mo Money and Runaway. Cole is the future GOAT.

      4. Wow guy you’re so smart!
Retard, maybe you don’t understand art.
Did Picasso get lame because he kept painting the same style?
Explain the 2 mill+ he just sold on his last album?
This is a game Em has played very well.

        “fucking internet bloggers
“I sit in front of my computer all day and comment on
Everything, I’m an expert on everything, everything sucks, play the next song”

        Words from Slim to you

      5. J Cole’s songs were never that original to begin with, I shouldn’t have named him. His songs are either about college or cliche “conscious rapper” topics. He has nothing to rap about. His main audience are kids under 20 who just started listening to rap so they think those topics are original because they heard them from him first, but the truth is hundreds of rappers have done them before, and far better than J Cole. J Cole is a mediocre rapper, I’m sorry. I’m not impressed

      6. ^ Cool story bro . You are really adding a lot to the world with your inane comments .

Not Impressed . Who gives a fuck you are just another frustrated troll stuck in moms basement .LOL

    9. ems new flow is really hard to adjust to. i mean. i want to like this but iuno. theres something missign for me.
em has to stop putting women on his hooks. all his songs are starting to sound the same.

    10. I actually love Eminem and have been a fan for years. I am willing to suck his cock if he wanted me to. Idc i will bang his ass

    11. The pop hooks aside, Em is still dope. He’s not at his MCing peak. That was was 2000-2002.

If Em would just do away with the poppy hooks, I’d check for more of his stuff.

      1. He actually forgot how to rap when he almost died of an overdose so he had to re learn so his flow is going to always be shaky from here on out

    12. Meh, maybe it’ll grow on me. His delivery sounds weird. And the song is kind of all over the place. It’s not that well structured.

There’s still hope for hip hop though. Looking forward to new J. Cole, Big KRIT, and Kendrick Lamar.

      1. who the fuck looks forward to nipsey. coupes, v12’s and stackin’ money to the ceiling. Lyrics for half of his songs

      1. Why would he stop rapping when he is selling so much still? FFS Recovery sold over 10 million copies. MMLP2 sold nearly 4 million by the end of 2013. (It released on what..November?)

As long as he sells I’m sure he will continue to make music regardless of the quality of it.

      2. considering he is still making hits and money and number 1 hits…when benzino cant even make it in the top 10

      3. “Moby, you can get stomped by Obie
You 38 year old fag blow me
Your too old, let it go
No one listens to techno” – Eminem

        And Eminem is now 41.

      4. Now everyone listens to techno?

        No one listens to Eminem?

MMLP2 sold 4 million. When have you seen a techno artist hit the number #1 spot on billboard? get off the molly dude. you’re tripping at home alone or something.. there’s something wrong with you.

    14. Wow this is fucking really epic fuck these jealous ass dedicated haters lol. The double album is gonna rock hope we get an em with royce track like it says

    15. 1 – Nas fans (refuse to realize he fell off after Stillmatic)
2 – Eminem stans (similar to Nas fans, plus they tend to be racist)
3 – Lil Wayne fans (they worship a nigga who sounds like a roach)
4 – Kanye West fans (this nigga ain’t no music genius)
5 – 50 Cent fans (if he never got shot, he would never have fans)
6 – Jayz fans (they only care about his money)
7 – Ross fans (they support a fraud)
8 – Biggie fans (only had 2 albums)

FYI i support outkast, ugk, rakim, game and dmx

      1. game cant rhyme without name dropping.. dmx is a crack head who can’t rap anymore.. outkast disbanded

everyone has their own taste bruh

    16. The song is good. Well-executed, good hook, good verses, no yelling.

The only thing is Eminem’s flow is not so good. This is the same MC that made Bully which had the GOAT flow, and he now has trouble flowing.

If he could improve his flow without yelling, it would make him that much better.

    17. Well, I thought I was going to hate this song when I heard the preview for that movie or whatever.. But its actually pretty good. I still prefer the more hardcore relapse Eminem, but at least he’s talking about new stuff/different stuff here. Atleast he’s writing new chapters… Can’t wait to see what the new album is like. For those that think this is trash, your favorite rapper can’t make songs at this high level of quality so..

    18. Start working from home! Great job for students, stay-at-home moms or anyone needing an extra income… You only need a computer and a reliable internet connection… Make $90 hourly and up to $12000 a month by following link at the bottom and signing up… You can have your first check by the end of this week……….

    19. He needs to stop messing with his vocals and the beat and just flow. It’s hard to vibe to a newer Em track these days.

    20. Damn Em, thank you for writing this song, shit just spoke to me and what I’m going thru right now. Shit man, I just hope I can work with you one day dawg, you been my favorite rapper since I was a little bitty wanna-be lyricist lol…srsly tho this song applies so much to me man you have no idea

      1. It’s the lead single, it’s made for the radio, it’s a unisex track. Girls like the singing, guys like the rapping. But you’re a faggot if you can’t appreciate a female singer and just want male vocals constantly. It’s what sells… obviously not to you but who cares.

    21. so because Sia is on the track it sucks? This track will hit radio as #1 like they all do…..Eminem makes MUSIC to sell, this sells. Is he hardcore, yelling, screaming, no but why should he? His vocals are still better than most out there. This song is flawless for the film its in, have guts over fear to overcome you petty little problems

    22. Makes me think some of you clearly don’t listen to the words and story behind it. There aren’t many rappers out there right now who spits emotions and creates story the way Em is doing it. Top track.

    23. I make up to $90 an hour working from my home. My story is that I quit working at Walmart to work online and with a little effort I easily bring in around $40h to $86h Someone was good to me by sharing this link with me, so now i am hoping i could help someone else out there by sharing this link… Try it, you wOn’t regret it!…

    24. The hook is the only thing about this track that I like. It’s similar to the flow of MMLP 2 yo WTF happened to the Renegade flow and Infinite and SSLP & MMLP & TES? I’m an aficionado but it’s not the lyrics that are wack it’s just that his flow is not as serial as it usually is. Pros – I enjoy the instrumental and the hook. Cons – I dislike the whole flow

      1. I agree with you guys. His flow – at one point one of the best in the game – went missing around 2007 and has never came back. Recovery and MMLP2 are absolutely unlistenable.

      2. Do you even understand rapping? you can’t just go crazy on any old beat. You gotta flow to fit the beat and the vibe. This beat is slow and basic, so he’s rapping to compliment that. In my opinion he actually managed to still come with a swift attack of a faster flow and it worked well. Anyone who classes themselves as an aficionado should know this as common sense.

      1. 50 Cent says that Eminem is one of his best friends and that the Detroit rappers talent makes some people uncomfortable. Hip Hop is Black music, without question, and, unfortunately for some people, its tough to accept that you have a White artist that does it better than Black artists, 50 Cent says during an interview with Music Choice. “It is what it is. You can get like whoever you think is the best Black artist and stand them face-to-face in a room with Em and he will eat that [guy] alive. Right now if you had ’em prepare themselves, whatever way they would have to prepare themselves to come battleI bet what I have, everything that Eminem would win.
        http://hhdx.co/1pYGtOk

    25. This is dope sounds like it could have been on recovery eminem is the only artist I know that is dope in any style he uses he kinda got back to his old self on mmlp2 that album is sick it’s funny how it Dident sell as much as recovery when it was more of a radio friendly type album I guess that’s just the type of music that is poppin now days don’t get me wrong I loved recovery but relapse and the mmlp2 is the style that I like em at his best

    26. to the person who said everything em did is trash GROW THE FUCK UP PRICK AND GET A LIFE EM IS A GROWN MAN OUT WITH THE OLD AND IN WITH THE NEW.

    27. Sounds like a Recovery track that didn’t make the cut. Definitely single material and no surprise he released it as a stand alone track like this. It’ll be on the compilation along with some other similar throwaways from his last couple of albums. Maybe some old miscellaneous verses will get thrown on some new beats to fill it out.

    28. THIS IS SHIT IS TRASH!!!! EVERYTHING AFTER THE RELAPSE ALBUM IS TRASH!!! WHERE IS THE “SLIM SHADY” EMINEM. FUCKING FAGGOT RELEASES PUSSY ASS TRACKS WITH FUCKING BITCHES WHO CANT SING (SIA, RIHANNA, PINK). FUCKING POP-STAR-ASS-SINGING-COCKSUCKING GO AND PUT DOWN THE MIC. FIRST HE DISSES KIM AND HIS MOTHER AND THEN HE MARRIED THAT BITCH AND MAKES THAT FAGGOT ASS TRACK ON MMLP2 HEADLIGHTS ABOUT HIS FUCKING WHORE MOTHER AND STRONGER THAN I WAS ABOUT HIS FUCKING BLOND BITCH WHO FUCKS OTHER MEN.

“EM YOU CLAIM YOUR MOTHER#S A CRACKHEAD AND KIM IS A KNOWN SLUT SO WHATS HAILIE GONNA BE WHEN SHE GROWS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!”

FUCKING FAGGOT EAT A DICK AND DIG YOURSELF A GRAVE

      1. “Juicy” and “Hypnotize” by notorious big have pop chours. Same “Changes” and “Dear Mama” by 2pac . You are just a stupid ignorant nigga.

      2. Pop means popular. THis song is incredible so lots of people like it, therefore its popular, but it is hip hop nonetheless, the ‘pop’ chorus actually sounds great if u just let the song play and listen to the meaning of it. It could be a radio hit but his bars are still flawless and hard, way above anythnig else you would find these days

      3. Would you like to be famous as Eminem? You can only make a sound like retarded nigga, you don’t have talent and never record song with the real music stars nigga. Maybe you are RIP Canibus? Or broke Esham or K-Rino?

    29. The whole “I hate Eminem because a lot of people like him” thing is getting old. You know you don’t have to click on the song right? It’s not an obligation. Y’all think its just a bunch of kids giving him 5’s.. but y’all are acting more childish bashing shit for no reason.

      4/5

    30. If your not an Eminem Fan i can understand why you gave this less than a 5 . . but if you are an Eminem fan . .and you know his history and music . . this is flame 5/5

    31. I feel like the main problem with most of his new music is that he’s too focused on apologizing for his past mistakes constantly instead of evolving. Yes we know that his drug addiction is terrible, yes we know he hated encore and relapse, and we hear his apologies for dissing others. The problem is that he should focus on moving on to other subjectsninstead of repeating his apologies and subjects. He even tries to making up for dissing pop artists by including them on his singles when he made great points in the past. Im not saying go full slim shady and I iunderstand his maturing but there are ways of maturing without giving a fuck. In short, he’s now giving a fuck when his best work is him not giving a fuck. I would say if he’s running out of personal life stories to talk about, move into his opinions kn the world and other political subjects.

I just dont want him to keep moaning about his drug addiction and his weak albums. I think his new stuff is ok but I prefer old eminem.

      1. Completely agree. I also feel like he tries to squeeze in too many words into each bar. He’s unbelievable lyrically, but sometimes less is more.

      2. Another problem is the need to include pop singers when eminem formerly dissed them. Eminem made a well known diss to britney spears on the real slim shady yet rihanna (who eminem worked with her 4 times) is a britney spears wannabe.

      3. “too many words in bar” its called multisyllabic rhyme scheme, not Em’s fault your heads too far up your own ass to hear the song properly. Sia blows up this track, nothing wrong with mainstream features, check every hip hop great to have lived, she isnt even that mainstream, just becuase she doesnt rap doesnt mean shes pop trash. And whats wrong with giving a fuck if he sounds great has entertaining lyrics?????

    32. I like em not a huge fan but I cant argue hes one of the greatest. I thought his last album was mostly pop… but this isn’t pop. this is a great fuckin song. please stop your hatin

      1. MMLP 2 was not POP bro…ur only thinking of the radio friendly songs…and this sounds like a radio friendly song
u have to listen to the other songs that dont make the radio
        like wicked ways…groundhog day!

      2. Is this sarcasm? Trolling? This is more pop than anything on his last album besides The Monster and Stronger Than I Was. Not that pop is necessarily bad, I think this song is great.

      3. ^Above.. why is it pop? Because of the chorus? The lyrics are tight and the song has a deep message. Nothing pop about it. Pop is shit for clubs and what not.

      4. MMLP2 was the best album since the Eminem Show in the entire hip hop world, and Recovery and Hell the sequel were still fire. Listen to the lyrics, if you could actually scrape an ounce of intelligence and understand the metaphors you would understand, look at the variety of beats and flows he used too, no single project of recent times can compare except for the upcoming Shady XV

      5. recovery sucked..a bunch of pop beats and crying and complaining and apologizing and asskissing.. listening to an eminem album in 2014 makes you depressed.. i listen 2 music to escape the bullshit not hear the tracks and feel like im now carrying eminems lol

he just doesnt inspire you like he used to..rap god and this song are his two best songs hes dropped since encore (shitty 2nd half of the album but had a few gems.)

      6. yes mmlp2 was better than recovery i think recovery is by far eminems worst album and mmlp2 isnt much better..outside rap god, groundhogs day, wicked ways and monster(yeah i like it, even tho its not a beast just cool song) the rest blew..

      1. Agree but Sia did absolutely murder the chorus in this tbh, and other rappers are far too weak to feature on an eminem record without being destroyed unless they have beenn signed to Shady

    33. FUCK YOUR DEFINITION OF RAP! THIS IS AWESOME! NOW IT IS 2014 NOT 1990, EVEN DJ PREMIER OR REDMAN HAD A SONGS WITH CHRISTINA AGUILERA, OR NAS FEAT JENNIFER LOPEZ, OR 2PAC, STUPID AND CLOSED HAD KIDS …

    34. Amazing as usual, just because it can suit mainstream listeners doesnt make it any less real. That rapid flow he used in the 2nd verse gave me goosebumps and that bath salts reference was slick af

    35. sick of people complaining about which direction Eminem goes in, let him make his music and then you should follow him there and appreciate this mindblowingly strong track.

    36. ehh ironic he rhymes about how he keeps rhyming about the same ish

i always find myself wanting to get excited about a new em song but am always disappointed. other than rap god i haven’t been impressed by anything he’s written in 10 years

    37. artists dont usually have too many classic albums under their belt. Em got 3. Whatever we get now is just a bonus.

      1. you can deny sales at that level.. if 20 million people says he dope and u say hes whack that means ur opinion doesnt matter

    38. Awesome!!! em bring emotional content people can relate with it…
      Em u r seriously “RAP GOD” …
      Loved it 🙂

    39. eminem’s shit is too formulaic ever since 2010. always pop singers on the chorus while he spits some shit pretending he’s still as crazy and hardcore as he used to be in the verses… every song is a contradiction

    40. Wow, Eminem needs to stop making music. He’s lost that fire that was in his music. No, I’m not one of those people who hates every rapper whenever they change, but jeez! Em really is such a pop artist now. I usually don’t like when hip hop heads use “pop” as an insult, but he isn’t making songs for hip hop fans anymore, so I feel no shame in using “pop” to describe his music. BTW this beat is about a million times better than everything on MMLP2 and it’s still only average….that album really sucks smh

    41. Not a stan of Em, but a fan of rappers that obviously puts effort in composing their shit. The way he structures those bars are sick. Hook is just ok.

    42. yo em i know you reading this.get drake on your hook instead of these white bitches. i know you cant make a hook to save your life but ay drake will get your career going again and appeal to the streets once more. LETS GO

    43. yeah but let drake get a verse too so these guys can go head to head. everyones been waiting for that. my money is on champagne doe

    44. Em’s flow just sucks now. He use to be natural and in the pocket on every beat. Nobody ever bought those first 2 Eminem albums wondering how many syllables he could pound into a 4 bar measure, we fucked with them because they were funny, clever and at times easy to relate to.

Em seems to have forgotten that and thinks he got where he is because of the mechanics. Even though his fame may carry him to platinum for the rest of his life, in the same way Elvis was still selling out concerts even when he was an out of shape, bloated, off key singing junkie 2 steps from dying on a toilet, you can tell by the reviews and fan reactions every time he drops something that he ain’t got it like he use to.

How can people even listen to shit like the MMLP 2 and not cringe at the lyrics??

MC REN THAT’S STIMPYS FRIEND, YACKITY SMACKITY RAPPITY BAPPITY

      FOH with that bullshit

    45. He says it in the song. He’s said the same shit in different ways over and over again. He’s a parody of himself. Call me a hipster but I listen to fuck all past MMLP. Theres still some odd fire he spits though. To keep it all the way real I came to check on Sias hook.

    46. Wait, if this shit woulda dropped on Recovery, you woulda said this was wack. But now everyone love this? That mainstream pop really seeping into some of y’all heads. Yuuuuuuuuuuuuup.
