    1. with all due respect why dont you bring out the slow motion face shots and sarah mclachlan feature why dont you lu. i mean goddamnit, no offense to the people fighting the real cancer battle and best of luck to you and all but fuck. i just want to hear lupe say some cool pre lasers shit i wanna stay interested into his work and all but this is like the 4th year in a row he keeps droppin this shit and i dont know how much more i can take.

      1. What didn’t you like about it? I thought this was deeper than most of the music he’s come out with since lasers. He’s growing as an artist so his music’s definitely different but then again his first cd came out 8 years ago. I’m digging this song since it’s better than most of the pop/techno stuff he’s done but I’m curious what it was you didn’t like.

    2. i also wish hed quit flooding his fucking beats with those obnoxious high hats as well. all that money and your friends with the greatest producers ever and you keep pullin these stale ass beats out of the leftovers folder

    3. Inspirational but all his beats feel like they woulda been a hit in 2007. Time to update it.

What happened to the metaphors though? He just be rapping now. I want a puzzle.

    4. Great message, Lupe was alright, but why the f** do you have Mustard, the guy that made that “Rack City” beat, doing a beat for this kind of song?? Hit 9th Wonder up, for example.. With a better beat those verses would’ve been even better, trust me.. The bridge and the hook were on point, though.

    5. lupe always makes great music with a good message behind it if only more people took his lyrics in more

    6. It’s encouraging to hear this type of music coming out in Hip Hop. I was skeptical when I read in the description that Lupe addresses cancer in this track, but he aces it. I was inspired listening to him describe the champion 7 year old, even though I don’t have many people in my life that currently battling cancer.

I wasn’t offended by the beat as much as you weenies were. But I do agree that Lupe’s production has become this electronic sound that seems to lack clear direction. I miss the boom bap and spacey stuff of the Daydreamin’ era.

    7. I love the song but would have been better if someone like big krit or lil wayne were on this beat. Even eminem…
