Big K.R.I.T. – Mt. Olympus

Big K.R.I.T. released the first single, an aggressive track, off his upcoming sophomore album, “Cadillactica.” Do we hear a “Control” reference?

    1. Well damn I don’t think i’ve ever heard K.R.I.T. sound so aggressive on a track. Nice. Good shit as usual from K.R.I.T. but this dude does not know how to release music that isn’t quality so no surprise here. Looking forward to Cadillactica.

    2. DX full of bullshit. This song should be at least a top story. Guess this what Krizzle was talking about.

    3. This is divine. From production to KRIT’s aggression. Cadillactica looking like album of the year already.

    4. Fuck what you was thinkin’, bloggers they can quote it
Lotta rappers buried underneath my house
They know what I’m ’bout, you ain’t even know it
      Overdosed on hocus-pocus, jibber-jabber

King of every castle, how you signin’ rappers?
All these label must be givin’ out a raffle
Wranglin’ like cattle, keep a nigga shackled
Leavin’ people baffled, tap dance nigga

Crackin’ and bashin’ the shit out your spine
King with a crown, humble and tall
Tyrants never keep quiet, they’d rather be violent
      So I’m beheading them all!
The lay of the land, I’m settin’ fire to buildings and bridges
You ain’t sell out a show until you sell out one in Mississippi
Whats good for Hip Hop may not be good for my soul
So, I keep flexin’, wreckin’, for the people that respect it

    5. This Shi* is dirty all the way……K.R.I.T you get a 10 from Gloston Global Holdings!!!!!!!!!

    6. this nigga better than kendrick fuck anyone who says otherwise 5 albums in and 4 of those are classic plus he make his own beats . nigga already a legend no one can see him not drake not kendrick not yelawolf not j cole none of these new niggas on his level .

    7. dx make this the headline or change hiphop dx to bullshit storys of riding sorry rappers dicks..k.r.i.t!!!!!!!

    8. I feel like this should be getting as much attention as control did tbh but it won’t cause theres not a bunch of name dropping for people to freak the fuck out about

    9. KRIT is my 3rd favorite rapper, and I’m trying to understand the hype around this track but I’m just not getting it. It’s a 3.5 star track, round to a 4. Nothing special.

      1. There’s only 2 verses, and the first one really wasn’t very impressive. The second one is fire though, and the overall vibe is growing on me quite a bit.

      2. Get you some good headphones then give it a try… This is far from a 3.5 track which is the middle of the road. This is probably the best track I have heard in a while.

    10. Fuck. This shit brought tears to my eyes. And I’m from fucking Harlem. THIS is why I love this hip-hop shit. Do your thang KRIT. And how the fuck Jay and 3000 jumping on tracks with these fuck boy rappers and not this real shit? Salute!

      1. man some people are so fucking stubborn and base rappers off there following…ya mgk attracts white suburbian bitches and dudes but his flow is undeniably amazing. and he spits truth also. saying mgk is better then krit is an opinion but how the fuck u gonna say KRIT can be a legend and MGK cant?

      2. dont waste time replying to this shit, thats what makes it stands out.

thats what im doing now but now and again i have to advise yall

      3. You’re a joke cunt, MGK sucks ass repeating the same damn words after one another.

    11. True southern representer. Hip hop appreciation week is the 3rd week in may. Rep the culture! K.R.I.T indeed

    12. Southern rappers take note this is how Hip-Hop is supposed is supposed to sound! This is the direction Hip-Hop should of went when the south started taking off!!

    13. Salute Krit! you are the realest, you been the realest, and you will continue to be the realest. THere is no sense picking apart the song for moments of greatness, every aspect shows you are a creed above a class.

keep representing for all of his krit. you will continue to elevate to the point of mount olympus.

this type of shit is refreshing to say the least!

    14. I hope there will be no Future, 2 Chainz or Trinidad James type features on his upcoming album.

On topic, this song is 4.5 mics for me.

      1. the song with future is confirmed I’m pretty sure since king remembered in time had that snippet

    15. The REAL king of the south! KRIT, keep Future, 2Chainz, and all of them other fuck dudes off your album this time. Hip Hop need you to keep shit like this here coming.

    16. thought they wanted trap, thought they wanted bass, thought they wanted molly, thought they wanted DRAKE, FUCK THEM NIGGAS? Am I the only hearing this.

    17. yeah he let off,,,,,strong content,,flippin flows,,,dramatic track,,,lets see where it will play at

      1. WTF does that even mean. It plays everywhere if its dope. Its sentiments like that that got the game where it is now.

    18. $97/hr pavivdv by Google, I am making a good salary from home $5500-$7000/week , which is amazing, under a year ago I was jobless in a horrible economy. 19. Got to weigh in for the man Krizzle…5stars and I’m hoping this means Caddilactica will be what live from the underground should have. LFTU was alright but could have been so much more, this is fire

    20. Snapped, Cracked and lapped niggaz on this joint. I’m a 80’s baby NY nigga saluting this track.

    21. The best track ive heard from krit, and im saying this as a die hard fan of this dude. his many talents are shown on this track. Dope Beat which he produced, Dope Rhymes and the hunger is incredible.I just hope def jam promotes him right on his next album and give his due shine. especially since No ID is president at defjam.

    22. wow, native homeboy from the sip right there. this nigga Kendrick lamar better stay in his lane! shit!

      1. Gave Returnof4Eva a couple of chances because of the hype, never understood the buzz. Then I heard Make My (The Roots ft KRIT), gave Returnof4eva another chance and now KRIT is in my top 3 personal favorite rappers.

    23. K.R.I.T. has been the chit for a while now.. Alot of ppl just sleep on him. But I’ll be damned if this ain’t a wake up call!!
      5 Stars Strong.

    24. Anthemic statement. Grand as fuck. He is rapping like he is on top of the mountain for real !

    25. I told everyone that one that 1 train something happened.

KRIT became the best in the game. Sorry Kendrick.

      1. Nah his 1train verse is overrated. Whenever an MC spits on a short loop for a long time with a slow flow and an energetic delivery people will think they’re spitting crazy even if they aren’t. It’s the Cappadona Winter Warz effect. KRIT’s verse was good but not even the best on the track. KRIT may be a better artist overall than Kendrick though, cause he produces and sings too.

    26. Oh yea…..
Very good way to start off a sophomore. Majority of artists sleep on their 2nd album. It almost feels like he put more work in it. Very concrete and raw. Nice. The only one I actually look forward too.

    27. Big K.R.I.T. will go down as one of the greats no doubt in my mind. His music will live forever. I really hope he gets the crown that he so rightfully deserves.

    28. FCUK! BIG-krit has gotta b the greatest rapper when it comes to Trap Music. I’m a Ol’ Skul typa guy but Damn!
