    1. the production quality is high, but theres nothing new from lil wayne. its one of the better songs i’ve heard from him though.

    2. HipHopDX faggots like “lets all hate on Lil Wayne and rate this 1 star without even listening!” SMH

    3. Linkin Park and Rakim (Old School rapper for the Hiphopdx admin that only knows lil wayne and drake) got a dope song out!!!!!!

    4. This is a good song, but it was obviously written by Drake. Lil Wayne doesn’t write, flow or do hooks like that. I’m not impressed

      1. Don’t insult “classic wayne” (carter 2, da drought etc) this isn’t that wayne. This is an average song.

Theres being honest then dick riding. this aint even close to C2 wayne.

    5. wow how people actually think this is good, you tell what the f is he talking about. owning a bakery and having a driveway to big he aint gotta back out. putting persian rugs in a crack house, and getting head while he is smoking. man my nigga TUPAC please come down and touch these fools. they all talk about, nothing serious!

      1. ” All yall that lashed out i come see
what that’s about.. But you don’t
need to call the fireman to put a
        mawfucka match out! ” meaning
peope calling them amazing in the
rap game .. Saying they fire but really they are a lil match and you don’t
even need Weezy to put those
niggas in their place.. Amazing line

    6. this is a bit more carter II wayne, I like it…it’sn ot 100% on par with carter I&II weezy but it’s better then 90% of the tunechi-era bs he has dropped.. if carter V is gonan sound like this throughout, it might be worth listening to and he wousl leave the game on a positive note

    7. been wondering why I don’t feel wayne’s new music. I just realized I think it’s the mixing.

It’s way to flowery or something, been re listening to his old stuff just randomly today, so this song was start contrast.

      Flowery ass motherfucker.

      1. Man praise wayne coz he is the biggest reason alive why ppl love rap. He brought ppl from other genres to rap. He is Important to this rap game. He is not a 2pac but he is none less than new pac. weezy F baby and F is for finisher.

      2. ^ anonymous you just said a whole bunch of nothing. maybe you’re trolling? idk it wasn’t very good if you were.

      3. “he is the biggest reason alive why ppl love rap.”

cmon son. jay-z, eminem, 50 cent all bigger reasons

      4. lol wayne absolutely murked kanye and jayz when watch the throne and carter 4 were competing. Wayne can run rap circles around your old ass dudes jay z and 50cent. Yeah eminem is better though.

      5. ^ yeah man that’s rightly said. You can’t deny waynes contribution to rap game. He had more bad records than the good ones but he got more number of songs than any other rapper out there.

    8. It’s 2014. Anybody referencing Tha Carter, Tha Carter II, Drought series tapes and early Dedication series needs to move on. I don’t really like new Wayne either but I sure don’t want hip hop to stop progressing past the early and mid 2000’s. Just move on with your life and stop listening to dude if it upsets you that much. People change in 10 years

    9. The hook is most def og Carter I wayne. It’s his verses though. I hate his post prison delivery. Combine that with the simple metaphors. It’s not good. They’re just not clever anymore. Still, this one of them 2 steps forward. Hope he don’t take 5 steps back. 3 stars!

    10. It’s a lot better than the Wayne that people have been hearing for a while since post Carter 3

    11. Am I missing something?? You guys are acting like Wayne rapping Carter II-esque but I don’t hear it, shit’s wack as anything he’s released since 2008

    12. It would be better if wayne would stop laughing type of rape and be serious, its like he is still joking,he should as well listen to C2 and switch his game up

    13. Wayne isn’t going to be that c2 wayne or that drought watever wayne he going to be the carter v wayne, and if you dont like it move around. The game CHANGES and he been changing that’s why he been relevant. If you say he aint relevant dont lie to yourself and look at every song he drop and check the views or the conversations in the comments period. I don’t like this wayne either but wayne is doing what he has to do to get that money from the rich white kids who buy his music

      1. First of all that’s not a compliment. Mmlp 2 was terrible. So having a track which is better is not hard.

In saying all that. This track is not better then any track on mmlp2. It’s sucks. Lil Wayne is wack, drake is wack, nicki minaj is wack, eminem don’t make good hip hop anymore.

Get away by de la soul. Listen to real hip hop.

Get away. We don’t want you fans. You fans don’t even know what hip hop is or means.

    14. This is cool. Be sure to checkout thegrandreport, they have some good hip hop and viral videos on there

    15. I figured it out. It’s the fuck ass metaphors. They’re so terrible. If he stopped the wack ass metaphors, his verses would be so much more tolerable.

    16. damn this is the lil wayne i remember fuckin with, not the best but damn it gives some hope he can return to pre syrup wayne.. doesnt sound like a crackhead, no gay metaphores..just rappin

this is the wayne that needs to stick around.

    17. I’m glad the Old Wayne finally came back! This is the Wayne we love, not the 1,000 different ways you can come up to eat Pussy!

    18. Straight fire!!! Sound like the real weezy back! All y’all that lashed out I’ll come see what that’s about but you don’t need to call a fireman to put a muthafuckin match out!

    19. A shining turd in the pool of shit that has been the last 3 years of Wayne’s career. It’s really only special when compared to his recent material.

      1. How do you know whether he sells records or not. Interscope and other labels are known for buying records to create hype and fake numbers.

Relevancy only counts within hip hop and not numbers.

    20. Worst rapper ever.

Lil boosie, lil Wayne, young jeezy, drake, nicki minaj, soulja boy, tyga, big sean, 2 chains, waka flaka, etc

Please someone get rid of these rappers.

      Pleaseeee.

Fuck off. You fucking wack fuckin fake rappers. Bring back real hip hop. And get the fuck away.

      1. What’s “real hip-hop”, exactly?

Oh, you mean being stuck in the 90’s listening to the same shit, just like we are now?

You bums always think that the 90’s were some glorious day and age devoid of terrible music and more specifically terrible hip-hop.

It’s like you’re all in new relationships and stuck in the honeymoon phase or something.

GOOD MUSIC IS OUT THERE, LOOK FOR IT.

If your source for music is MTV or websites that cater to more mainstream artists that you dislike, you’re going to have a bad time.

      1. STFU with that tired ass complaint i remember when biggie an pac was alive and the old heads was saying the same thing ABOUT BIG AN PAC! how hip hop is dead an oh woe as me etc.. its not dead it just changes with the times. seriously that whole hip hop is dead thing needs to die off if u don’t like this hip hop then listen to what u like but don’t complain about it. its not like lil wayne got a gun to your head forcing u to listen to him lol

      2. Who complained about big and Pac? Which old heads? Name them.

Hip hop is shit. It’s been shit for a good 10 years now.

Old heads loved 90s hip hop. Maybe a complaint was it being too aggressive or violent. But from 1988 – 1997 hip hop was flawless. It was hard to find a bad album. Now it’s hard to find a good album.

From 1997 – 2001 it was still good. But was lacking authenticity.

From 2001 – 2004 was probably the last years of hip hop being pure.

Since 2005 it has been nothing but industry music. The biggest artists were the ones who the record industry wanted you to listen to. And it had nothing to do with lyrics, skills or music.

      3. Eminem? Please. Get off his dick. How bout you listen to other people besides eminem.

Eminem is a legend. One of the all time greats. But seriously just because he’s white doesn’t mean he’s the greatest thing since sliced bread.

So your saying eminem is better then Kool g rap? Or big pun or rakim or krs one or Nas. Or jigga or big l or AZ or gza…..

        Come on man.

Just because you don’t understand some lyrics doesn’t mean eminem is better. Just because he is clearer and easier to understand. Lol

Honestly even black thought and pharoahe monch are probably ahead of him.

Even prodigy at his peak in the mid 90s was better then eminem at his peak in the early 2000s

So please get off his dick.

        It’s embarrassing.

And to say he’s better then biggie. Is like the dumbest thing I’ve hear in my life.

I guess Iggy azalea is the best female rapper of all time.

      4. eminem is a valid contender for goat. all the rappers you have mentioned, rakim, nas, kool g etc are rappers who are informative rather than emotional. have you ever wondered why eminem has so many stans. its bcoz he makes different songs compared to those you mentioned which hsve far more emotions, whereas those you mention talk about the same things, except conceptually they approach songs differently

      5. Eminem is one of the greatest of all time. But there are about 20 emcees in my opinion who are better.

When you say emotional. It’s subjective. To me I can relate to krs one on an emotional level more than eminem. Or a guru or a biggie etc.

I get chills listening to those emcees.

Eminem is cool. But lyrically the wordplay of a biggie or Kool g rap or rakim are so far ahead of eminem.

I think eminems biggest problem is he is too clear when he speaks. He doesn’t use slang or Ebonics so everyone understands him. My dad doesn’t listen to hip hop but he likes eminem. Why? Cos he understands what he is saying.

But if he listens to jeru the damaja or the gza he won’t know anything coming out of there mouths.

Eminem is a legend. One of the greats. But not and no where near top 10 greatest ever.

      6. How about everyone stop trying to tell other people why artists about better when music is subjective?

It’s like arguing with a devout Christian, you aren’t going to change their mind.

You’re all basically pissing into the wind, especially if none of you have a basis as to what makes an artist spectacular..

    21. i think wayne fell off since no ceilings, but this song isnt that bad. everybody is going to say this song sucks before they even press play just because the see lil wayne in the title. sometimes the people who hate lil wayne are more brainwashed than the people that love him.

    22. I’m not even on Lil Wayne, but this is dope, it actually makes me excited for Tha Carter V acknowledging the fact that that is a throwaway track from it

    23. Let’s be honest… In general, Lil’ Wayne lost his social relevance due to mediocre verses BUT you can’t say that this song doesn’t at least make you interested in listening to Carter V? Right? Right.

      1. No not interested. Granted I never listened to carter 1 2 3 or 4. So it wouldn’t interest me anyway.

Lil Wayne is terrible. The record industry and mtv has done well in telling us he’s the best and number 1 and all that nonsense. But it wasn’t long ago he was a joke and considered a nobody rapper.

I still remember masta ace’s record dissing high and mighty. When he said he would rather hear a lil Wayne, lil Zane duet. Lol.

I would be embarrassed to say I listen to lil Wayne or drake etc.

But then I again I listen to real hip hop.

      2. This is in reply to the anonymous guy who said “I listen to real hip-hop”

What is with you fuckboys talking about “real hip-hop”?

I’m pretty sure hip-hop was a form of self expression, so I’m really confused as to what you consider hip-hop.

Just because you don’t like a specific artist doesn’t make them not hip-hop, and just because you listen to AOTP or Biggie, Pac, Nas, or whoever the fuck doesn’t mean you are some god who knows it all.

Why sit there and be a pretentious douchebag acting like you’re above people and shit? You know damn well you were that ugly ass kid sitting in the back of the bus spending all your boost mobile money on soulja boy ringtones 10 years ago.

So at some point you decided to stop listening to something you grew out of, decided to pop in some Eyedea or Slug or whoever the fuck, now you’re some hip-hop purist? Fuck outta here!

People like you are worse than the people who dick-ride Lil Wayne. Furthermore, this is coming from someone who doesn’t like Lil’ Wayne.

People listen to what they like and that’s that.

You can’t even bring up any valid arguments as to why Lil’ Wayne other than “he sucks lol and this one guy dissed him lol”

        Dumbfuck.

      3. nope lol I ll go back and listen to the carter 1 or carter 2. I stopped fking w wayne around carter 3.

He was relevant to the entire country from carter 1 – carter 2. Before carter 1 he was mostly a southern artist, and after carter 2, he became a clown high on all kinda drugs

    24. this was terrible anything impresses now adays I could have someone with down syndrome spit over a trap beat and people would like it just cause of the beat as long as it kind of rhymes

    25. not a great song and not a terrible song. but this is WAYYYYYY better than the shit he was putting out. hopefully he can get back to coin hot shit.

    26. And I, dont believe these rap niccas
You can front for your fans but I know its an act nicca
Judge a man by his character and not by his wealth
a real G never kissed niccas or shot myself…

    27. 2014 is going to be big for Wayne. So far he’s been fire – ‘We Alright,’ ‘Thug Cry’ and now ‘Moment!’

    28. I tired of wrestling I give up,I’m sick an tired of it,I’m pisssed off because during a match another wrestler pulled down the back of my trunks and exposed my white untanned ass,and I wasn’t wearing a thong

      1. Decline started in 2010. C3 was the last good album he put out. Where is the “Block is Hot” through “Carter 2” Wayne when you need him? I can’t listen to anything Wayne has put out since 2012. It’s sad because I could rock to his stuff day in and day out from the early to mid 2000s…

    29. Its cool….Wayne went in on dis…#FuxWitIt #Dope

    30. I think this is a good wayne track considering his decline in recent years. hes showing signs of improvement and has been now since he wasnt nominated for any vmas or BETs . D5 had a few highlights and that my ni**a remix verse along with his thug cry verse show signs that the carter v will at least be better than carter 4.

    31. finally…a new TUNECHI/WEEZY F BABY song that has a good flow….DRAKE is the best YM MC right now though..SMDH…this track is FIRE! though..13/13..

    32. I’m not a big fan of Wayne. Never was and probably never will be. We ALL know he has been in the decline for a long time but overall this is a good song and should receive nothing less than 4 stars. This is his last album so I’m sure he is going to put more effort considering this album will be his swan song and I’m sure he wants to go out the right way.

      1. Lol I love how Wayne haters pretend they know everything about his career. This is definitely not his last album, it’s already been established that he’s gonna release The Carter V this year and according to sources, it’s gonna be his best material yet.

If you think Wayne was never good you clearly haven’t listened to any of his mixtapes/albums nor any of the upcoming rappers (Young Thug, A$AP Rocky, 2 Chainz) mentioning how Wayne’s one of their biggest influences and how they attribute their success to him. If it wasn’t for Wayne you wouldn’t even be listening to half the rappers you are now.

        Wake the fuck up.
