    1. Fucking fire, I’ve actually started to hate this guy since Recovery and Bezerk is dump but this song is dope I love it!

    2. And this proves my point again to those STANS on the other topics who said ”just wait until you hear other stuff”

Do I need to say more? Even Eminem noticed his die hard fans think he went to mainstream. He is dissing his old school rap fan base by poking them because they dont like Eminem going POP and mainstream. But guess what, werent you once against all this Eminem?

Im sorry but I dont like this, just because somebody raps quick doesn’t mean he is the best. I know a lot of unheard rappers that can spit fast

    3. Eminem fell off, what’s left of his fanbase nowadays consists of 11 year old kids who worship him like a god. What’s next, The Eminem Show 2? This album doesn’t hold a candle to MMLP1.

      1. @kyle

No it’ll be Infinite 2, but no worries here we’ll hear Lady Gaga, Miley Cirus and Justin Bieber!

Oh and Im sure this time Eminem will ask Skrillex to be his fucking producer!

But it’s cool, Eminem didnt give a fuck about his real fans since Relapse. Recovery he found a new way of making songs for emo’s and the MMLP2 is made for the POP/ROCK/DUBSTEP audience.
But there will always be faggots on Eminem’s cock who worship him for every fart sound he makes.

    4. Ayo what a surprise. Another Em song where he brings all the technical skills in the world but the whole fuckin song sounds empty as fuck. No depth to this shit at all, don’t feel nothing when I hear this. Also don’t help that the beat’s some lame shit

      1. Ayo, tell me how this song makes you feel anything? All he’s doing is spitting lines with intricate, complex flows n whatever, but its just rapping. Son’s doing straight rapping at the highest level in technical terms, but this shit has no soul to it. All I take from this is that Em raps with alotta flows and he’s good at rapping…but I’ve heard him say that shit countless other times, and usually its sounded better.

      2. going to have to agree with DaMamba here. And I’m one of the biggest Eminem fans, and have been since his MMLP days. But it’s true .. absolutely no soul to his shit anymore. There’s a disconnect. All he’s doing is showcasing his ability to cleverly align words and compound syllables and patterns together, but it has no heart behind it. Doesn’t even get me bobbin’ my head.
Again, this is coming from a huge Em fan so don’t think I’m “hating”. I’m dying to hear him come with some ill shit but I haven’t heard anything as of recent that has really won me over.

      3. its called Rap God idiots, of course he’s going to be straight rappin at the highest level in technical terms…it aint called Soul God, u want soul go listen to some soul music

    5. extraterrestrial flow right here!!! i think our hopes on a oldschool eminem record is vanished, but the hopes on a classic just fullfilled. Shady is back on his throne..

    7. LOL at all these Stans.. Em is a 45 year old washed up white boy. Wait til his track with Kendrick leaks then you’ll be forced to admit that K-Dot is better than this loser.

    8. I hope a rapper like Nas comes at Eminem and address his phony new GAY style. Eminem aint what he used to be. He better retire because this is the wackest shit i ever heard

    9. The first two singles off MMLP2 are a little weak but this song has me wantin to buy MMLP2 regardless. Even if half is trash and the other half is like this, I’ll still be satisfied.

    10. I really going to cry, I miss my idol from 99′ and 2000s.
Why Emimem why? I thought Berzerk & Survival he made for the radio. But it looks like the MMLP2 will sound garbage.

Why won’t you listen atleast once to your fans? You once said in an interview you feel the most important to please your real fans. You even say you dont want to attract Backstreet Boys fans, but just keep yourself. Why you make songs to please only the techno and pop fans? :'(.

I really wished Eminem would’ve come back like MMLP1 because thats my favourite album for sure.

      1. i agree man, never forget being 16 when MMLP dropped, bought it from my first ever paycheck. a week later i was rapping along all the lyrics of the tracks. goodtimes…

    11. there are 3 types of rap fans on this site.

people who are under 16. and they represent the majority
people who are under 25. they are the second majoirty

anyone who was listening to rap BEFORE eminem got back (tracks in the 80s, 90s) would appreciate this song.

    12. I think the whole point of this track was that he can switch his style up to pretty much any other mc’s flow out there any time he wants and still own niggas…just what i got from it….don’t think that he gave a fuck about lyrical content on this one

    13. I see the hate coming but damn the track is good. All the none thinking so called hip-hop fans who rather listen to the 2 chains, meek mills, woka flokas, trinadad james etc. JUST SHUT THE HELL UP. EM = G.O.A.T.

    14. Damn hopefully this discourages some of the sorry ass aspiring rappers and maybe they can actually do something else with their lives.

    16. RAKIM is the best ALIVE…. not the best ACTIVE…

Em came hard on this,, didnt love either of the 1st 2 singles… this is ill though.

      4

    17. INSANE.. And no, not just cuz he spits fast, the rhyme schemes are on another level, and its gonna take repeated listens to even catch everything and every punch line he says… Lyrics shit on any rapper out right now.
Glad to see him clown Waka, Ray J, etc.. This is the more confrontational Slim that we’ve been missing.

Just got hype for this album.

      1. Ayo a boxer could have the fastest jabs and greatest skills in the world but if he ain’t got any spirit or soul behind his punches then you can’t really feel em…

And even if you soft enough to feel any sort of punch from the way he’s spittin these lyrics…you really gonna be glad son’s clowning on competition that he got no reason to even acknowledge?

      1. …nobody “doubts” eminem’s skills as a rapper. Everyone knows he can rap and is great at it. But just rapping in a complicated flow or just rapping about how good you’re rapping doesn’t mean shit – cuz everyone knows he can rap. Its now the topic of every song he puts out and he feels as tho he HAS TO rap so fast, loud, and complex that it’s now just corny. You don’t need to have complicated flows on every track and thats why his music isn’t as effective as it used to be. He has convinced these new fans that his shit is the best because he raps loud n fast; and these fans buy it. An eminem song without substance is almost an oxymoron.

    18. Matter fact, he shits on all the fans wishing he’d go back to the 99-03 Slim too.. The Colombine lines had me rollin..

      1. See, only Eminem fans would dig that he keeps referencing shit from back when he was at the height of his popularity (K-fed line in Bezerk a prime example)…and that height was back from 1999-2004. Any other rapper talks about pop culture references from 10 years ago, they’d get blasted for it….but Em fans, they let anything slide as long as he raps in a complicated flow.

      2. @YouSerious

        lol wut?

“…and I know the haters are forever waiting for the day they say i fell off – they’ll be celebrating//
cause i know the way to get them motivated, i make Elevator Music “You make elevator music//
oh he’s too mainstream” well that what they do they get jealous – they confuse it//
“It’s not hip hop, it’s pop” Cause i found a hella way to fuse it//
With rock, shock rap with Doc – go and Lose Yourself and make them Lose it//”

    19. Song of the Year. Nuff Said, Although there are probably still probably a couple better songs on the album which is wack to think about.

    20. Yall Nuts if yall don’t like this track…. There are not too many dudes in the game that can change their flo like that… Don’t get me wrong kendrick is close but Em has been at this way to long… Yeah he’s lost a little sting but he’s grown now… You get to be his age, you shouldn’t be rappin about young man shit!

    21. So Game is trying to leach fame of lil wayne like how he had his tv show on vh1 trying to copy T.I. tv show.

Game cant go independent cause he knows that if he does no one will buy his stuff.

      50 made it

    22. Um… some people in here need to take a anti-ignorance class. This song is insane. No one’s spittin like this – Kendrick, Drake, Jay, whoever. This is nuts!

    24. OHHH SHIT! THIS IS WHAT THE FUCK IM TALKIN ABOUT! MY NIGGA EM SPAZZED ON THIS SHIT! THIS IS HOW YOU FUCKIN SPIT! SHITTIN ON ALL THESE GOOFY ASS RATCHET NIGGAS…EMINEM AND LLOYD BANKS IS THE BEST OUT

    25. He totally spazzed on this – wordplay was dope and he used different variations of his flow. What I like is how he also addressed being called pop especially from underground heads and he also discusses his rise. He still has those cartoonish tendencies that just irk me but Im feeling this one, even the cheap understated production. I want to hear how he sounds on some boom bap but there’s something about his voice when he flows this way. It gets a strong 3.5/5 from me. Oh and it sounds fresh – admit it – nothing sounds like this right now.

    26. If all EM’s loyal fans like myself, is looking for the old bleach blond that would diss pop bands and kill off his wife, has gone.. he turned and became the RAP GOD! and this shit here.. is just fuckin ridiculous.. smh.. 6 mins of fukn fire.. I still cant believe it ..

    28. Its cool it sounds like Kendrick wrote it, The delivery sounds like kendrick too they not foolin me, think about it em and K.dot are Dre’s artist right? You people give Em a lil too much dont be fools.

    29. Em please go home and stay there! This is Weak and I can’t understand wtf you are saying. Slow that crap down homie. Dude has fell off big time, but I guarantee you his “boys” will support this crack banging music! Suburb America will buy every copy just to support his reign in selling records. I am not saying he isn’t nice but you get where I am coming from. I don’t hear nobody in the hood playing his music. And… That is 100! Maybe country boys cutting grass and fields and sh…

    30. Dude did not even mention Nas! Also trying to be like Nas. Look at the cover again. Nas did this frontwards and he is doing it backwards. What a Pop Icon?

      1. he did mention Nas though..”Now who thinks he’s arms are long enough to soapbox” is from his song ‘your da man”

    31. this beat stinks.

      retard club banger.

however. eminem fucking destroyed the track with some of the most incredible rapping i have ever heard. he said absolutely nothing and sounded incredible doing it. oh my god did this old man technically demolish the beat. he kicked like every flow possible in every cadence possible and switched his delivery up all over the place. yeah. eminem is still a fucking monster. he went triple time that last verse and spit some impossible shit. if you think you got rhyming skills eminem will make you feel like a bum.

he could do so much more with his talent though. best song so far off mmlp 2.

    32. Never been an Em fan, and I know why this song is HOT CORNY GARBAGE! Funny how all you guys get on Lupe for doing shit, but praise Em for this shit. He can’t make a song to save his life.

      1. lol

lupe fiasco is a bum faggot that made lazers. makes nastradamus seem like illmatic.

stan? mockingbird? sing for a moment? lupe made a song about skateboarding to get white fans.

      1. you’re telling me six minutes of straight lyricism and there’s nothing to qquote from it, what the fuck do you listen to, gucci?

      1. White people blowing up because Em is the only hope you guys say is a rapgod….. Shit I like Evidence,Action Bronson better than em. Dude can rap but makes shitty music.

    33. However, people say if Eminem was black, he’d be considered the best, but no, that’s obviously retarded. If he was black, he would be considered an average rapper; as you will see, metalhead fans (who are white) also listen to him and they don’t listen to any black rappers, whereas the statement “If Eminem was black” is invalid. You can’t consider Eminem good when you don’t listen to other rappers, however. It’s rather fatuous to imply that he’s the best.

    34. i love how bout 97 out of 120 rated this a perfect five and the only people commenting are the faggot ass lil wayne rick ross fans. comment all you want about whats garbage and what isn’t. this man is the best rapper dead or alive, no one can out rap him. so go listen to meek mill’s annoying ass voice or fake ass rick ross or now irrelevant lil wayne… we’ll stick with em. bitch made faggots.

    35. real eminem listeners from way back will know this song is not as good as he used to be the beat especially fucks it up not feeling it

    36. hhdx is full of trolls
      XXL been done
allhiphop c-section is a ghost town
      nahright is a community
      rapradar is moderating
      feds on wshh
lot of these lames already on hnhh
Kanye To The is a hellhole and has profoundly retarded fucks and dumbass kids there too.

H o t N e w H i p H o p is a horrendous piece of shit and has trolls and little sheepish fucktards with fake celeb accounts spewing out dumb shit and arguing with each other. Almost as bad as the typical You Tube comment section.

Odd Future Talk has “liberal” sad white boys and uncle toms, and is just as fucking bad as Kanye To The, its butt buddy.

Hype Beast is nothing but hipster white faggots and dumb niggas with no knowledge of hip hop, much like KTT, OFT, HNHH, etc.

2 Dope Boyz, Ill Roots, and Slum Boxden (I Think) are kinda okay and only slightly better than the rest I have named.

    37. The beat and chorus are def questionable and do not flow with the lyrics as much as I would like them to. But talk about the lyrics man. Slim is back with vengeance reminding all these fake rappers (who only spit about fucking, smoking, drinking, and money) who the king is and who it always will be. He is dissing the “supersonic” rap style mode in supersonic!! No other rapper could pull that off besides Marshall.

This is the best track off MMLP2 so far and everyone should expect the album to be up for Grammy upon Grammy.

The Real Slim Shady is standing up again.

    38. name dropped rakim, run dmc, and lakim shabazz.

      dissed wacka flocka.

and the retards say he didn’t say anything.

eminem dropping real shit and dropping a lyrical execution where he embodies the craft. he absolutely destroys one of these beats you’d hear drake computer crooning on.

      eminem still the king.

    39. Eminem raps fast, shouts and does multiple syllables every verse, to hide the fact that his lyrics are simplistic and he has nothing to rap about anymore…When you read Eminem’s lyrics on paper they are very one dimensional and often, just nonsense….People tend to overlook the lyrics because of the flashy delivery…But he’s not really saying anything. And I know the white boys are going to get mad at me for saying that..But you know in your heart it’s true…

      1. He says a WHOLE lot of things… you just 2 slow to pick up on it. Its ok homeboy, theres always a dull knife in the bunch.

    40. eminem TALKS ABOUT KILLING HIMSELF and RAPING WOMEN and killing chopping up woman AND KIDS and BEING A PEDOPHILE, EMINEM is trash just like MILEY CYRUS IS TRASH but the white population refuse’s to let them go trying to make them more than what they are… All he does is goes to the studio makes songs and dissing people from his studio then cries about how people hate him because he is white…He is trash just like his label…And trust me im far from a “hater’…

    41. Worldstar and DX are full of comments stating that “Stans” will praise anything he does. Well Im a “Stan”, been one since the SSLP and I can honestly say I was expecting more. Its always good to hear new music from Em but this one kind of hit the mark. Im not saying its not a dope song. It is…just not was I was hoping for. The rapid fire flow (which he has mastered) still feels a bit rushed. Im sure if you broke down the lyrics it would make more sense, i had to do that for Berzerk to really appreciate it. Once again he’s doing too much. You dont have to prove your the best anymore Em! We know. Just rap. Use your regular voice, slow it down and spit. Honestly I think this is the best were gonna get from Shady…which aint a bad thing. He still can rap circles around anyone in the game. He needs to stop using these power beats. He needs something simple to compliment his style. They keep giving him these super pumped up beats which he has to but his already super pumped up flow over and the outcome is songs like the ones we’ve been hearing…I still fuck with tho (being a Stan and all) Lets hop Rhyme or Reason will not disappointing.

    42. eminem was a bitch for a long time. whatever you muthafuckas think, eminem aint shit. in OAKLAND, we aint got no white feminem muthafucka trying to rap in here haha.

one thing about this faggot, he makes 14 out of 16 tracks about his fucking family, WHO THE FUCK DO THAT? fuckin boring wigger, we dont give a fuck about his mom or daughter.

fucking sellout bitches fuck outta here

      1. This white boy used to be good, now all this nigga release is pop shit. Another album with pop singers comin and of course all you white boys will snatch it up and say its the best thing ever cuz we all know only white boys buy his albums.

      2. Niggas dont realize Feminem was sent out as hip hop saviors by WHITE execs. But them white guys got yall young fag ass niggas to believe Em the goat. Plenty of black lyricists would kill Feminem on the mic but cuz all these white people and uncle toms love ridin Ems dick, he gets too much hype for wack shit now.

        BAY TO LA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      3. Fuck Oakland you poser ass wankster. Your football teams garbage, your fucking rappers are horrible and couldn’t make a dime and the reason why wiggers ain’t allowed to rap is cuz they’d eat you all fucking alive. This motherfucker here aint never made it out of 1995. Cube the realest OG outta Oakland and he reps Eminem til the death. Your a fuckin porch monkey. Neanderthal ass.

      4. Not one white executive made eminem. DRE did. How about that for Irony? Right in your fucking backyard homeboy snatched him up and made him who he is today.

    43. Eminem got weird. Clearly he did some insane rapping on this but did dude forget how to make a regular-ass song you can bump? I can’t imagine casually listening to this shit and enjoying it.

    44. Honestly, I prefer SS or MM LP Eminem and really havent felt any of his last shit…But I see what he is doing here…He basically pulling out his dick and telling everyone when it comes to actual rapping…like nothing but multi syllables and shit..Fast or slow…While saying actual shit…He is better then everyone and doesnt like or give a fuck about any of them…The censor shit and the weird shit he does with his voice through out is the only thing ruins this shit!

      1. SHIT WAS DOPE BUT GET OFF HIS DIKK WITH THAT ‘BETTER THAN EVERYONE’ SHIT..HE JUST DID A GREAT R.A. THE RUGGED MAN IMPRESSION..

    45. Hip Hop started in the streets and it will forever be in the streets, the fact of the matter is. Nobody in the streets is listening to eminem, only kids from the burbs. I ain’t feelin this track, i don’t care how lyrical he is, it’s fuckin wack in the streets. Only people in the urban community (not suburban ) should have say to what is dope hip hop and what isn’t, this is NOTHING special. Kids from the suburbs tend to think just because a rapper is “lyrical” that makes them great! 2Pac , Too Short, Eazy E, and many many others weren’t the most complex rappers but they are more legends, why? Because they kept it street. These underground, and lyrical cats can rhyme as many words out of the dictionary that they want and it is still wack in the streets why? Wack subject matter, wack beats, nobody wants to listen to any of that.

People wake up, street hip hop (biggie, 2pac, big l , jeezy, dmx ) any rapper that reps the streets, YES even Waka will have more respect than these lyrical cats, because hip hop IS the streets, and if the streets aren’t feelin it, than it doesn’t matter how versatile you are, wack is wack no matter what and kids from the burbs need to stop givin this shit 5 stars!

      1. you right about it not being street. but white dudes in the burbs aint the only niggas that respect and dig Em and lyricist as much if not more then street shit. I aint livin that knuckle headed life no more and dont want to always here about it. I want some crazy lyrics. otherwise ill listen to my 90’s shit. plus you cant tell me when he was doing mad disses and shit and mixtape tracks wit fifty and g-unit you didnt feel none of his shit.

        hiphop is hiphop…

      2. so because you don’t claim it “street” enough, it’s not considered hip hop?? If you go by this statement, hip hop would be trash. Hip hop is more diverse than trap music. Just because you don’t like the song, doesn’t mean it’s not hip hop. This song has more bars than any “street” song. You obviously don’t know music, son.

    46. Eminem is good, but not as good as Wayne. Wayne KILLED him on “No Love” .

Wayne had the HARDER bars, just coz Em rapped faster doesnt make it better

“I’m rolling Sweets, I’m smoking sour
Married to the game but she broke her vows
That’s why my bars are full of broken bottles
And my night stands are full of open Bibles”

      ^HARD AS FUCK

      1. ” They call me a freak cuz I spit on these pussy’s before I eat them”

“Cold hearted till the day I bogard the game”

I’m standing on my monopoly board, that means I’m on top of my game till my hips don’t hop any more”

Yea these lines sucked!!! LOL get the f outta here!!!! Go back to Waynes nuts.

    47. daaaaaaaamn!! = O

The way this motherfucker rides these drums is fucking INCREDIBLE! Lyrical content aside, his fuckin STYLE and delivery is just unlike anything we’ve ever seen. You could bob your head to the acapella of this, easily.. and how he flips that JJ Fad shit, daaaang!!!

His metaphors and similes are so insane, and his double entendres are so clever and CONSTANT now, so constant you can’t even keep up with them… like: “You’re watching a mass occur (massacre) like a church gathering…” its unbelievable.

Everyone says he “peaked” with MMLP and hasn’t been as good since, but MY (very humble) opinion is, he became an entirely new beast once sober, and showed that on Recovery. Shit, even on the Relapse stuff too like 3am, and Buffalo Bill… that shit is PERFECTED rhyming. So crisp and sharp…

      1. ^you shut the fuck up, trick. It’s an Eminem song, you should expect Eminem fans to roam the premises. fuck do you think

    48. This dudes career is over. Last album was straight ass. This shit will be nothin more than a bunch of pop songs. Em yo time done pass son, new niggas the face of hip hop. Slip back into irrelevance with that monkey Curtis aka the snitch.

      Bawse!!!!!

      1. Said by an ex cop!!! I thought Cops liked snitches..

Em’s last album was up for 10 Grammys, Ross won’t even be nominated for 10 his whole Career!! I don’t even think Bawse (Ricky) can understand half of what Em says in his raps, it’s obvious he’s a little slow!!

    49. All of you posting how you prefer ol Em are talked about in this song. I find it funny he’s talking about all of you who don’t know shit about music. Nothing, nadda, not even a little bit.

    50. eminem had to sell out at age 26 to get where he is, now he fell off so hard hes TERRIBLE, lost all my respect, on the other hand DMX never sold out and shits on anyone out there. realest nigga out

      1. lol saying Eminem fell off is retarded. He has been raping for 13 years now and the news still follows his every move. Your just another ignorant rap fan and can’t accept the fact that Eminem is a GOAT. I’m not a HOV fan, but I respect his place in hip hop…your ignorant.

    52. 1 – Nas fans (refuse to realize he fell off after Stillmatic)
2 – Eminem fans (similar to Nas fans, plus they tend to be racist)
3 – Lil Wayne fans (they worship a nigga who sounds like a roach)
4 – Kanye West fans (this nigga ain’t no music genius)
5 – 50 Cent fans (if he never got shot, he would never have fans)
6 – Jayz fans (they only care about his money)
7 – Ross fans (they support a fraud)
8 – Biggie fans (only had 2 albums)

FYI i support outkast, ugk, hopsin, game, dmx and tyler

      1. Nas fell off? what? what you smokin? Life is good was hands down best album of 2012 hes as good as ever. g.o.a.t

      2. yeah support a fake blood groupie who names drops and uses too many features and a crack head who dont support his 11 kids

    53. Cool!!!!! So what he put some lyrics in talkin bout haters and the old em……niggas be focused on lyrics too much and not listenin the sound…….because THIS SHIT SOUND LIKE ASS!!! Honestly sounds like a shitty suburban white kid rappin with a friend who makes electro beats. Production is garbage man….gues I can;t say much….never been a big fan of EM….

      1. If you’ve never like Eminem, why are you here? Your opinion is quite biased don’t you think? You probably black, to call him a wigger. Go eat ur banana fukin monkey.

I do think this song isnt very good, the beat is just wack. I’m a fan and my opinion isn’t biased because i know when a song is good and when it isn’t. The beat on this one is wack.

      1. not seeing the comparison this one is known for being lyrical but not really for the lyrics while being a hit song. control isnt a hit and is only known for wat is said in it

    54. Really seems like people are only complaining because he doesnt dumb his shit down for anyone lmfaoo. MAYBE HE CHOSE A “WACK” BEAT ON PURPOSE? YALL DONT CARE ABOUT LYRICS OR FLOWS ANYMORE!!!

    55. Love all two songs. i don’t count survival, that shit is for call of duty.

      Berzerk 4 outta 5
      Rap God 4 outta 5

      berserk got a better beat.

    56. judging from survival, berserk, and rap god it is obvious that eminem has changed as an artist and i don’t think ill be sure until a couple weeks after the album drops if i like it or not.

    57. what does it matter if Survival will be on the album instead of a bonus track? Just means there will be 2 different bonus tracks. I don’t get the hate on Survival either, it ain’t that bad..

    58. Reading comments on Em songs are entertainment in itself. Lol if you like the song cool, if not then go on about your day.

    59. Boy do the haters come out for EM!! Even the haters be dick ridin him, I swear. Look at some of these negative responses, their paragraphs and paragraphs long. If you REALLY werent feeling this shit, youd say a word or two, real talk. Haters are just wrong on this one. Shit went from 4.46, to 4.5, to 4.52 and now its 4.57 LOL.

Listen, you can talk about his yelling, rapping to fast, nothing to say..at the end of the day the reason why this track is good is because its got ultimate replay ability. You can listen to this track 25 times and pick up something new every time.

    60. TOOK ME AN HOUR BUT HERE’S THE LYRICS FOR THE NEW GENERATION WHO HAVE A VERY HARD TIME COMPREHENDING WORDS … YOUR WELCOME

      [Verse 1]

Im beginning to feel like a rap God

All my people from the front to the back nod

Now who thinks hes arms are long enough to slapbox?

They said I rap like a robot so call me rapbot

But for me to rap like a computer must be in my genes

I got a laptop in my back pocket

My penll go off when I half cock it

Got a fat knot from that rap profit

Made a living and a killing off it

Ever since Bill Clinton was still in office

With Monica Lewinsky feeling on his (nutsack)

Im an emcee still as honest

But as rude and indecent as all hell

      Syllable, killaholic [?]

This slickety, gibbedy, hibbedy hip hop

You dont really wanna get into a piece of match

With this rappidy rappack and a mack in the back of the yac, pack backpack rap yep yackidy yac

The exact same time I attempt these lyrical acrobat stunts when Im practicing that

Ill still be able to break a motherfuckers table over the back of a couple [?] and crack it in half

Only realized it was ironic I was on the Aftermath after the fact

How could I not blow? All I do is drop F-bombs, feel my wrath of attack

Rappers are having a rough time, period; hes a maxipad

      Its actually disastrously bad

For the wack to masterfully constructing this masterpiece ass

      [Verse 2]

Im beginning to feel like a rap God

All my people from the front to the back nod

Now who thinks hes arms are long enough to slapbox?

Let me show you maintaining this shit aint that hard

Everybody want the key and the secret to rap immortality like I have got

Well, to be truthful the blueprint is simply raging youthful [?]

Everybody loves to root for a nuisance

Hither up like an asteroid, did nothing but chew other moons in

Emcees get taken to school with this music cause I use it as a vehichle to bust a rhyme

Now I lead a new school of students

Me, Im a product of Rakim, Lakim, Shahbaz, 2Pac and

W.N, Cube, Doc, Ren, Yella, Eazy, thank you they got Slim

Inspired enough to one day grow up, blow up and be in a position

To meet Run DMC and induct them to the motherfucking Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame

Even though I walk in the church and burst in a ball of flames

Only Hall of Fame I be inducted in is the alcohol of fame

      On the wall of shame

You [?] its all a game till I woke a flock of flames

Off of planking, tell me what in the fuck were you thinking?

Little B looking boy, so [?] I can barely say it with a straight face looking boy

You witnessing a massacre like you watching a church gathering take place looking boy

Oh [?] thats all they say looking boy

You take a thumbs up, pat on the back the way you go from your label everyday looking boy

Hey, looking boy, what you say looking boy?

I got a hell yeah from Tre looking boy

Imma work for everything I have, never ask nobody for shit

Get outta my face looking boy

Basically boy youre never gonna be capable to keep up with the same pace looking boy

      [Verse 3]

Im beginning to feel like a rap God

All my people from the front to the back nod

The way Im racing around the track, call me Nascar

[?] heart of the trailer park, the white trash God

Kneel before generals off this planetts Krypton, no Asgard

So you be Thor and Ill be Odin, you [?], Im omnipotent

Let off then Im reloading immediately with these bombs Im totin

And I should not be woken

Im a walking dead, but Im just a talking head, a zombie floating

But I got your mom deep in [?]

      Im out my ramen noodle

We have nothing in common, poodle

? pinch yourself in the arm and pay homage, pupil

      Its me, my honestys brutal

But its honestly futile if I dont utilize what I do though

For good at least once in a while

So I wanna make sure somewhere ? I scratch, scribble and doodle

Enough rhymes to maybe to try and help get some people through tough times

But I gotta keep a few punchlines

Just in case cause even you unsigned

Rappers are hungry looking at me like its lunchtime

I know there was a time where once I

Was king of the underground, but I still rap like Im on my Pharoahe Monch grind

So I crunch rhymes, but sometimes when you combine

A pill with the skin color of mine

You get too big and [?]

      Like that one line

When I tried to say I take seven kids from Columbine

Put em all in a line

See if I get away with it now then I aint as big as I was but Im

Morph into an immortal, coming through the portal

But youre stuck in a timewarp from 2004 though

And I dont know what the fuck that you rhyme for

Youre pointless as Rapunzel with fucking cornrolls

      Fuck being normal

And I just bought a new raygun from the future to just come and shoot ya

Like when Fabolous made Ray J mad

Oh, man, oh, that was a 24 special on the cable channel

So Ray J went straight to the radio station the very next day

      Hey, Fab, Imma kill you

Lyrics coming at you at supersonic speed

Uh, sama lamaa duma lamaa you assuming Im a human

What I gotta do to get it through to you Im superhuman

Innovator, made [?] so anything you saying ricocheting off of me

Never fading, and I know that the haters are forever waiting

For the day that they can say I fell off, theyd be celebrating

Cause I know the way to get em motivated, I make elevating music

      You make elevator music

Oh, hes too mainstream well, thats what they doing jealous, they confuse it

Its not hip hop, its pop, cause I found a hella way to fuse it

With rock, shock rap with Doc

[?] to make them loose it

I dont know how to make songs like that, I dont know what words to use

Let me know when it occurs to you

While Im ripping any of these verses

How many verses I gotta murder to prove

That if youre half as nice at songs you can sacrifice virgins too

      School flunkie, pill junky

But look at the accolades the skills brung me

Full of myself, but still hungry

I bully myself cause I make me do what I put my mind to

And Im a million leagues above you

Ill when I speak in tongues, but its still tongue in cheek, fuck you

Im drunk so Satan take the fucking wheel, Im asleep in the front seat

Bumping Heavy D and the Boys, still chunky, but funky

But in my head theres something I can feel tugging and struggling

Angels fighting with devils, heres what they want from me

They asking me to eliminate some of the women hate

But if you take into consideration the bitter hatred that I had

Then you may be a little patient and more symphatetic to the situation

      And understand the discrimation

But fuck it, lifes handing you lemons, make lemonade then

But if I cant battle the women how the fuck am I supposed to bake them a cake then?

      Dont mistake it for Satan

Its a fatal mistake if you think I need to be overseas and take a vacation to tip a broad

And make a [?] on the face and dont be a retard

Be a king? Think not why be a king when you can be a God?

      [Intro]

Look, I was gonna go easy on you, not to hurt your feelings

But Im only to get this one chance. (Six minutes, Slim Shady, youre on) Somethings wrong, I can feel it

Like a feeling, like something is about to happen, but I dont know what

If this means, what I think it means, were in trouble big trouble

And if he is as bananas like you say, Im not taking any chances

(You were just what the doc ordered.)

      [Hook]

Im begining to feel like a Rap God (Rap God)

All my people from the front to the back, nod (Back, nod)

Now who thinks arms a long enough to slap box? (Slap box)

      [Part I:]

      This vividy hibbedi-hibbedi-hip hop

You dont really wanna get in to a pissin match

      that with a backpack

      Aftermath after the fact

At the exact same time I attempt this lyrical acrobat-stunts

While Im back .. to be able

Should be able to break a motherfucking table

Over the back of the couple of facts

Realize, it was ironic I was on the aftermath after the fact

How could I not blow all I do is drop F bombs

Im beginning to feel like a rap god (rap god)

All my people from the front to the back, nod

Everybody want the key and the secret to rap immortality like I have got

And I realize its ironic I was on Aftermath after the fact

MCs get taken to school with this music cause I use it as a vehicle to Bust-a-Rhyme!

To meet Run DMC and induct them to the motherfucking rock and roll Hall of fame

The only hall of fame Ill be inducted to is the alcohol of fame on the wall of shame

      ~NotoriousRambo~

    61. WOW EMINEM JUST SNAPPED THE FUCK OFF ON THIS TRACK.. if someone hates this ur jsu a eminem hater straight up. he just murdered this track. i havnt heard em just kill a beat like this since eminem show.

survival was cool. bezerk was w.e for a playful track

this shit right here tho.. shows u why hes one of the best.

    62. this ish so muthafuckin hard, u gota b kiddin..this nigga jus showed wats good wit errbody talkin bout he fell off…that wheres slim shady at.. they miss tha old flo…fuk tha old…this right here light years into the future

    63. To all the people complaining about a lack of subject matter… Please tell me what Wu-Tang’s Triumph was about. How bout Nas’ It Aint Hard to Tell? You gonna tell me those aint classics just because they weren’t really saying much in the song?

      1. foreal G u gon compare this to WU and NAs, cats who constantle drop gems. Em aint say one gem of substance foreal. there was nothin to learn from this my G

      2. I was comparing it to specific songs. Eminem has plenty of meaningful songs too, like Cleaning Out My Closet, Lose Yourself, Talkin 2 Myself, Going Through Changes, The Way I Am, etc. So don’t give me that bs.

      3. cosign anon1– its just ppl saying that are usually black. n hate the fact eminem white kills the game like no other.

    64. if u trippn, bump off tha planet..them first tracks they actually aiight..berzerks got its meaning, survival if listened to gots its worth…but this one, yea this the one…this blows control (kendrick) out tha water

    65. i almost can’t believe he actually rapped this without computers speeding it up. not hating or doubting..more so giving props..i’d love to see him spit this live without the track in the back

    66. The fact is it will never be possible to compare Em, 2Pac, and Biggie fairly for two reasons

      1. 2Pac and Biggie didn’t have to maintain a career, so they had a chance to fall off. If you compare the time period for Em’s 99-02 vs. Biggie’s 94-97 or Pac’s 93-97 they’re more similar than different……there’s no telling how biggie or pac would have faired had they had to maintain a career for a decade……and sure all the 2Pac and Biggie fanatics will say they would have continued at their level but Jay-Z, T.I., Kanye, Wayne, and yes even Em (for encore and relapse) all fell off.

      2. Biggie and Pac didn’t have to create music in the modern climate……they didn’t have to battle with mainstream giants (other than maybe Nas)….they WERE hip hop, maintaining relevance once hip hop became the mainstream and once artists started breaking right and left (especially if they stayed around until this digital age where there’s a new mixtape every three days) it would have been a very interesting time in hip hop, but Em has had to make a comeback in an INSANE hip hop climate where the attention span is zero and the standard is to drop meaningless non-lyrical tracks about money, chains, and cars to a hot beat.

I understand what the detractors are saying, but this song has a crazy flow with a lot of commentary on a lot of things including his own career…..lyrically it’s nearly untouched

      1. In all his lyrical battles he went after weak opponents (Benzino, Cannibus, Moby, Ja Rule, Everlast). Pac went against the entire east coast (in it’s prime) against legendary artists. You know it’s a faggot ass era when people place Eminem above Pac. They’re not even in the same league. Gtfo out of here.

      2. to add something to your point….artist didnt nessicarltily “fall off” during here careers, the industry changed, in a huge way, CD sales are down drastically but if you look at these artists for how theyre getting paid now, itunes, singles….alot of these guys are making just as much now off of that than they were hard copy record sales….FACT….so like i said just to correct u not every artist fell off they had to adjust to the changing climate in sales.

    67. This is a cry for attention from Em this record has no replay value after the 2nd listen. but em didnt make this song for a brother like me, nor was bezerk i jus realized i used to like Em for his beats wow.

      1. Lol he had some horrible stand alone beats though… Nobody ever says ‘that beat on that new em track was banging’ Lol…. good track

    68. LLOyd and Raekwon new shit is crazy, tha new Charron shit is even shittin on this, cmon. EM got no substance on this, freal

    69. I’m really getting tired of these sites…. dudes always hating with out giving a proper critique on why it sucks

    70. Honestly this is dope. I was skeptical, but this is shades of the Old Eminem.

Sounds like the Encore Flow, which is a good thing

he ditched that god awful yell flow from Recovery, for the Encore flow, hope he keeps it.

The lyrics and flow are bananas.

      1. This does not sound like an encore flow lol Encore was terrible. Sounds like a sped up version of the song he had w/ yelawolf.

    71. was not expecting this lol, wow. while it’s somewhat hard to understand what he’s saying at parts, the skill is there. this is hip hop at it’s rawest form. well played mr. mathers….

    72. Eminem has become the king of rappity rap, aka “Finding clever ways to rap about nothing”

Its alright tho I guess, better then the last two pieces of shit

      1. his passion for his craft is unmatched now..tho he does have a handful songs from relapse and recovery that mean nothing such as bagpipes from baghdad, medicine ball, undergroud, untitled, cold wind blows, on fire, and session1

    73. people hating the beat
the beat is decent its not to good but not to great
also if u heard eminems song syllables
he said it not always bout the beat!

    74. KRS-One: “I told Wayne to his face, he’s the dopest MC out”

Eminem: “Wayne, to me, is defiinitely one of the realest in the game”

Jay-Z: “Wayne is one of the most talented rappers out there”

      DMX: “I like him”

So should I listen to KRS-One, Eminem, Dmx and Jay-Z, or should I listen to some broke losers on the Internet?

I like how all of the people who hate Lil wayne come to and search for his videos to talk shit about them. Lil Wayne may not act like it but he is capable of making good music

      LONG LIVE WEEZY!

    75. 2PAC is considered the greatest of all time for a fucking reason. Em fans just face it lol. Almost every rapper (including Em) and person would say :2PAC is the greatest. Nobody had a bigger impact than 2PAC, 2PAC is the most influential. Em is even inspired by 2PAC. 2PAC IS THE GREATEST. AND YOU EM FANS NEED TO HOP OFF EMs dick lol. 2Pac even beat Em in a poll from ESPN. i love both Em and PAC. But even in everyones eyes, majority still say 2PAC is king. 2PAC is idolized lol

      1. Sounds like someone needs to actually jump off 2pacs dick. But I guess you like jumping up and down on it like a bitch would. No need to hate on ems fans man.

      2. ”2Pac was like Jesus, and Nas wrote the bible.”
..true but again impossible to choose just one rapper as the g.o.a.t.

      1. thats what i thought at first, then after about 5 plays i realized it was pretty much the same sound as berzerk and survival. Hopefully we get something more like the old MMLP.

      2. i don’t get why anyone would want eminem to sound like he sounded in the 90s lol. it would sound out dated as shit and extremely corny. he never said this will sound like mmlp nor should it.

    76. Infinite 7/10
      SSLP 9/10
      MMLP 10/10
      TES 9/10
      Encore 6/10
      Relapse 7/10
      Recovery 0.5/10

      MMLP2 is looking like it’ll be a solid 5

      1. Lil Wayne – Did i mention I was the best skater ALLLLIVVVVVVEEEEEEE!!!! YOOOUUUNNGGGG MULLLAWWAWWW BABBBAAYYYYY! TUUUCCCCHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!

    77. 2Pac was like Jesus, and Nas wrote the bible while eminem butt fucked some guys named “the whole game” while beating the shit out of kim in the corner.

      1. so i don’t plagiarize i decided to quote the songs that i used because i’m thoughtful.

J Cole – Let Nas Down (Born Sinner)
Lil Wayne – Drop the World (feat. Eminem) [Rebirth]
Eminem – Kim (Marshall Mathers LP)

    78. Holy Fuck. 9/10. This is what we NEEDED to rejuvenate the hype. My hype just skyrocketed.. Thank you Em! Nobody fucks with him now. It’s basically a “You’re all wrong, I still got it, shut the fuck up” song. Fantastic!

      Beat is 7.5/10

Oh that third verse, especially the part starting at 4:30 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

      1. No. I think many many fans (me included) are blown away specifically at that part because we never thought Em could rap that fast, and thats the fastest he as literally rapped in is career. Of course others have done that before (Twista), It’s just a first for Em. Hence the huge impact. Not to mention he articulated well in that part as well (you just have to listen really closely)

      2. okay i am going to blow your mind hear bruh. He probably actually can’t rap that fast. You can do a lot of things with auto-tuning which includes speeding you up and overlapping.

      1. The oysters of the world are raw, but the equation starts with a division sign. This opens up the oysters which are not actually not oysters at all, but clams. The sea is the land of the fish. Walk along side their flippers. Prost.

      2. Think of a tree. This is a cloud. It is green. Fly away by swimming toward. Disguise fear with fear to make cheer with cheer. Prost.

      3. Scissor kick your philosophy with a hug of love. Your way of thinking is on another level of high genius. Fucking unbelievable. I get you and my eyes are opened.

      4. Listen to the nature. The nature is the music. The music is the food. The soul is hungry. Plug your ears. You starve. Open them you fly. Flap flap flap. Prost.

      5. The sea lion is not the lion of the sea but the antilope of the water. Leaping away from the “sea lion.” The antilope leaps away from the lion. Who is the “sea lion,” if not the shark. It is the spirt of ocean. The land is home to the sky which palys in the sand of the clouds in the sea. Sea monkeys are not monkeys at all. Green is blue and red is yellow. Under the right light that is. Go. Stop. Yield. All intertwined. Proceed accordingly. Prost.

    79. did recovery haters just listen to rhiannas ltwyl hook and say the whole lp sucked? had fucking insane wordplay and lyricism and great emotional depth. oh and it went 4x platinum and got best rap grammy go back to sleep clueless haters

    80. the best part of this song is that it isn’t “slim shady” or “mmlp sounding”. just straight fire. em has never made two records that sound alike, this seems to be the same

      1. relapse and ecovery sounded the same…
        and this sound like that…
and this sounds like they did, like shit

      2. ^you’re a fucking idiot. how did relapse and recovery sound the same

they’re probably not great albums but to say they sounded the same makes you fucking retarded.

    81. so does anyone realize yet how badly this is going to fucking slaughter jay zs joke awful half assed holy grail album? wow it wont even be close not feeln the tecno beat but wow he just went overkill and who can flow better not tryin to be a stan just givn props and stating the obvious

    82. Ladies and Gentlemen, Slim Shady is Officially dead. He has been fighting it out the last couple years, but it is not for that time of struggle we will remember him, it is when he was at his peak, when he was the best out their. Times like the Slim Shady LP and the MMLP where he gave you what was real and wasn’t afraid to rap about deep and dark stuff. We are now seeing the rebirth of the man that made Infinite, Mr. Marshall Mathers. And as many of the rightful critics of that album would have said, i may be the only one willing to say it. This is not rap this is some rock shit. Go to that industry because you will not make it here Marshall Mathers. Unfortunately fans of slim shady stayed loyal even when slim disappeared, therefore fuck it.

      1. Ummm…. What the fuck are you talking about? You tried too hard to sound intelligent. I’ll give a $1000 to anyone who can make heads or tails of that nonsense. #REPRESENTUNCOMPHRENSIBLEDRIVEL

    83. What drake things about eminem. btw they could actually use autotuning to make drake sound like a fast rapper sort of like eminem, really the only reason they dont is drake is too much of a pussy to want to actually rap so yea....... says:

I GET PAYED A LOT YOU GET PAYED A HIT BUT MY LATEST SHIT IS LIKE A GREATIST HIT GOD DAMN.

    84. tbh i was not impressed with survival or bezerk… i was a bit worried about the album. This song right here blew me away though, especially how he responds to the news about him becoming “pop”

      1. I was 18 when MMLP came out doggie…. i have seen him live twice… i know him better than you..
        Ypu mad doggie?

    85. You pay out Drake and Weezy but this gets voted nearly a 5?
      You are all tripping!

What was this trying to prove? That he can rap as a fast a yela???

      1. He only raps fast during the last minute and half of the 6 minute song. did you even listen? did you listen to the words and the point he was trying to prove? stop listening you are whats wrong with hip hop.

      2. the song is about how he is the only genuine rapper for the kids to listen to and be inspired to make real rap. for example “Emcees get taken to school with this music cause I use it as a vehicle to bust a rhyme
Now I lead a new school of students
Me, I’m a product of Rakim, Lakim, Shahbaz, 2Pac, N.W.A., Cube, Doc, Ren, Yella, Eazy, thank you they got Slim
Inspired enough to one day grow up, blow up and be in a position”
and that even if he was to do a pop beat or a rock beat he is still the only one to do rap like an old school artist and to still pay homage to how rap was created (that explains the beat being like it is cause it shows his ability to keep up with the times and still keep touch of the past)

      3. i meant new school artist not old school in this part “rap like an old school artist and to still”

I also want to state this is the cockiest eminem song i have ever heard he is stating what every really fan of how rap has came up believes

      4. @rateddrew: You mad huh doggie????
        Ill rate drew…. 0/10

He is rapping fast as what he is saying to everyone is “catch up” when i reality he fell off. Ill leave eminem for kids in school like yourself.. Eminem new fans like you is what is ruining hip hop.

      5. Even though i don’t really like the song and find the beat wack as fuck, i got to admit that that is a very smart analysis “vin”.

      1. I agree. Eminems just getting better retards, if you don’t like it don’t buy his cd and that’s it. Dumbasses don’t know what quality is.

      2. “This song just made this album better than the first mmlp”

So its better than The Way I Am, STan, Kill You, The Real Slim Shady, Drug Ballad, Criminal…?

        No, just no.

    86. As dope as his last few albums, including SH shit. Like most, i still prefer his old shit. But this still shits on all the new shit out.

    87. EM is the GOAT PERIOD there is not another rapper out that can make a song that could come close to competing with this lyrically

      1. eminem had to sell out at age 26 to get where he is, now he fell off so hard hes TERRIBLE, lost all my respect, on the other hand DMX never sold out and shits on anyone out there. REALEST nigga out!

      1. This dudes career is over. Last album was straight ass. This shit will be nothin more than a bunch of pop songs. Em yo time done pass son, new niggas the face of hip hop. Slip back into irrelevance with that monkey Curtis aka THE SNITCH!

        Bawse!!!!

      2. ” God Forgives, I Don’t received generally positive reviews from music critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the album received an average score of 70, based on 24 reviews”

” Recovery received generally positive reviews from music critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the album received an average score of 63, based on 28 reviews”

        BAWSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    88. 1 – Nas fans (refuse to realize he fell off after Gods Son)

FYI i support outkast, hopsin, game, dmx and tyler

      1. Shut up. Nobody cares about your stupid list.
Nas didn’t fall off at all, his lyrics have always been dope as fuck and his albums were very creative, not criticly aclaimed though.
Eminem didn’t fall off neither, he’s still one of the best lyricly and commercialy.
        Wayne can suck a dick.
Kanye West is a musical genius he thinks about everything he does, if might not like his styles but that doesn’t mean he isn’t a genius. He broke mutiple times on revolutionary grounds.
Not a big fiddy fan so I can’t speak for him.
Jigga is dope, I don’t give a fuck about his money.
        Ross can suck a dick.
Biggie gave us 2 solo albums, both of them classic and every song he was featured on he give us a standout verse.

        Shut up.

      2. I like Eminem, 50, Biggie and jay z but at least this guy stated his opinion and gave 5 names he likes unlike the Ja Rule trolls. I do like Outkast, old DMX and sometimes Hopsin and Game. B.o.B, Kid Cudi, Ab-Soul and Tech N9ne are my favorites currently.

    89. Eminem fans are racist. Busta Rhymes did this style recently. Tech N9ne, Twista and Bone… But nope, logic tells them this is the first time a man has rapped fast.

      1. Rapping fast is a small part of what makes this so impressive. The wordplay, the metaphors, the delivery, how he switches flow at least ten times. A rapper is not automatically good just because they rap fast. Em, unlike the rappers named above, has the total package.

      2. I think a lot of the surprise comes from hearing Eminem specifically rapping this fast. Especially the double time section. It’s not usually what he does…Especially if it’s going to be a single.

    90. This white boy used to be good, now all this nigga release is pop shit. Another album with pop singers comin and of course all you white boys will snatch it up and say its the best thing ever cuz we all know only white boys buy his albums!

      1. Hate to break it to some of you but Rap musics audience is mainly white people. even the hardcore shit hating on white pepople is bought by white people. just on a numerical basis there aren’t enough black hip hop fans to keep the movement alive and besides that hip hop is global now and if you can’t deal with fools in sweden feeling it and kids in japan feeling the power in the art of hip hop then you need to update your mindset. the shit isn’t about race anymore and hasn’t been for a while.

    91. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

this is like the best thing ever

    92. Holy shit he just went nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Insane lyrics and wordplay just destroys the game he is a rap god.

    93. Say what you guys want about Eminem’s music but you guys forget that Eminem in his prime could have been a model. I had hella Eminem posters in my room at my old house but the one above my bed on the ceiling was the shirtless one of him and he definitely had bulgy pec muscles from what I remember. Plus, he looks hella handsome for his age right now, and has the blonde hair blue eyes thing going on right now. Maybe his music is not as good, but who gets as passionate as Eminem’s performances? He always gets hella hot and sweaty and gets those thick veins popping out on his neck. So passionate.

      1. funny thing is peeps kip tunin em fell off tha spot, mind to explain y berzek went platinum n rap God Gona go platinum also? numbers dnt lie n ppl dnt buy trash

      2. outcast, eminem(2), 50 cent, pac(2), MC hammer, nelly and biggie are the only rappers to have sold over 10mill records on one album so if numbers dont lie that is your top rappers sorry posted it in the wrong place lol

      1. outcast, eminem(2), 50 cent, pac(2), MC hammer, nelly and biggie are the only rappers to have sold over 10mill records on one album so if numbers dont lie that is your top rappers

    94. Def a step up but I’m not likely to listen to this again, great flow, he can rap fast, basic rhyme content though, a lot of metaphors and random thoughts thrown together. In the middle he connected a lot but most of the time he was just saying amazing one liners. I’m not knocking it but your lying to yourself if you call this 5.5. But I’m def more excited for the album now.

    95. the song is about how he is the only genuine rapper for the kids to listen to and be inspired to make real rap. for example Emcees get taken to school with this music cause I use it as a vehicle to bust a rhyme
Now I lead a new school of students
Me, Im a product of Rakim, Lakim, Shahbaz, 2Pac, N.W.A., Cube, Doc, Ren, Yella, Eazy, thank you they got Slim
Inspired enough to one day grow up, blow up and be in a position”
and that even if he was to do a pop beat or a rock beat he is still the only one to do rap like old school artist on a new school artist beat and to still pay homage to how rap was created (that explains the beat being like it is cause it shows his ability to keep up with the times and still keep touch of the past) he is stating what so many people believed and this will taken as his cockiest song i ever heard

      1. and no i dont like the song much i just could understand poetry really well and i always love reading his music as well as kendricks and lupes stuff

    96. That was ferocious as fuck. Had to jam it twice cuz the first time I was too busy yelling “GOD DAMN!” every few seconds. The beat isn’t much to talk about, but does it really matter when your going that ham?

    97. This song and Ja Rule fresh out the pen are the hardest tracks on this website Yeah i know ja rule lol I laughed myself but give him a chance that song hot. No bullshit or trolling this definitely one of the top songs of 2013.

    98. Terrible beat and pointless lyrics, retarded white teenagers will eat this shit up though because he’s rapping fast.

Em is 0/3 now. MMLP2 is shaping up to be his fourth 5/10 album in a row.

Bravo to him for destroying his legacy whilst sticking his middle finger up to his actual fan base in favor of pleasing all of the fat , white, 14 year old CoD players.

      1. In terms of sales? you’re right.

In terms of quality? He’s been near the bottom of the barrel in Hip Hop for 10 years or so.

      2. Quality. I mean Kendrick, Killer Mike, Danny Brown, The Roots, Ab-Soul, Pusha T etc.

You know, actual musicians, not washed up old white men who talk fast.

    99. bars are crazy but I can’t fuck with his new high pitched sober voice. bring back monotone shady from “superman”

    100. His Forever verse and Welcome to Hell verses with Royce were better. This sounds like a step backwards. A bit desperate.

    101. This is a pretty hard track but if you’re gonna use a title like that it should be the hottest shit you ever dropped. He’d have been better off renaming one of his already released songs. That said I’m giving this song full rating just on its own merits.

    102. Rappers are having a tough time period here’s a maxiPAD it’s actually Dizastrously bad” is a shot at CANIBUS because Canibus battled an MC named Dizaster and Canibus was destroyed the worst part is Canibus pulls out a notePAD henceforth EMINEM saying maxiPAD and Dizastrously bad check the battle out Dizaster vs Canibus it’s on YouTube you’re welcome

    103. who gon say some?Huh who want it?huh…..hahahaha ya niggaz is in trouble, the white nigga is back….SHADY haha Rap god.

    104. I understand berzerk and why is was made and recorded.
But survival was HORRIBLE, but this is insane.
This guys wordplay and multiple flows are crazy.
      GOAT

      1. yeah its ok with call of duty marketing, but survival has no place on the album, or at least it should have been a bonus track

    105. “I make elevating music, you make elevator music
      ‘Oh, he’s too mainstream’
Well, that’s what they do when they get jealous, they confuse it
‘It’s not hip hop, it’s pop’, cause I found a hella way to fuse it
With rock, shock rap with Doc
Throw on Lose Yourself and make ’em lose it”

      1. he just basicaally responded 2all critics of his singles that are considered pop and all u fuckboy haters dont even get it and u claim hip hop

cant lie I doubted the white boy, but shit!!!
sounds more like Hell the sequel EMINEM

    106. I stopped listening to Eminem since Relapse , but he’s back on track with this song. 5/5.

      ” School flunkie, pill junky
But look at the accolades the skills brung me
Full of myself, but still hungry
I bully myself cause I make me do what I put my mind to
And I’m a million leagues above you, ill when I speak in tongues
But it’s still tongue in cheek, fuck you”

    107. Eminem da Rap God. NOBODY in EVERY ASPECT of fucking MUSIC/ENTERTAINMENT can emulate this, “nothing in common poodle, pay homage”.

    108. The standard is so high for Em, it’s absurd. This is the best lyrical display from ANY EMCEE in who knows how long and people are still frontin’. Em is the best spitter breathing, period. Some shit ain’t opinion, it’s fact.

    109. awful awful track , give it up Em before you embarrass yourself any further
want some real rap music , check out my new website (lil waybe or drake fans need not enter)

    110. Oh my God this is so f*ckin dope! Oh my! Can’t even describe it in words man! Wow wow so amazing! I’m f*ckin blown away by this shit! So incredible! Whoa!

    111. alright. i aint even gon lie. I been hatin on this white man, but imma stop. This isn’t supposed to be somethin to ride to. He is flexin his lyrical capabilities and I can respect that. Some of yall be actin like babies whos favorite team just lost…hatin on the man when you know he played a good game…smh

    112. showbiz and a.g are a million times doper than eminem. all these new songs are corny. check out:
Mugshot music preloaded by Showbiz and A.G. and
      Mugshot music the album

real no nonsense no gimmick true rap from the Bronx!

      1. I didn’t say he dissed him, I’m just saying that there’s no reason to listen to Busta Rhymes when Em’s spitting faster and w/ better lyrics.

    113. eminem is one of the best to ever do it. And this song is pretty good. But cmon guys 5/5? really? This cant touch basically anything off his first 3 albums.

    114. The Beat fucking sucks for chris sake’s. But the verses are Godly though RIP other rappers but the beat just fucking sucks!

    115. “Till I collapse Im spilling these raps long as you feel ’em
Till the day that I drop you’ll never say that I’m not killing them
‘Cause when I am not then I’ma stop penning ’em
And I am not hip-hop and Im just not Eminem.
      -Eminem

time to put the pen down, you Eminem fuckin sucks now

      1. Ohhh dear sweet mike, you know nothing about hip hop or eminem if you think till I collapse was his worst song…. And I hope your just trolling and not a full blown idiot

      2. Lyrically Till I Collapse was nothing special, but it’s a great overall song. This song is far superior lyrically and the flow on this is undeniably amazing.

    116. ok, this is like his old shit with a newer touch. Best song i heard from him in years. Damn he needs to do a track with tech n9ne

    117. “boo, you suck, only white people like this, only high school kids like this, you don’t sound like you did 10 years ago”

Good god there are a bunch of crybaby bitches on this site. No one is forcing you little faggots to click on this shit. If you don’t like Eminem, don’t click on this shit. Go play on instagram or twitter or whatever it is you do.

    118. Nowadays i hate to like eminem given his annoying dick riding fanbase, but it gotta give credit where its due this track is HOT 4.5/5

      1. Actually I wish JT would have just kept Jay off that track and done it all himself. Jay sadly makes that track worse.

    119. After reading most of the comments on this song, I’ve come to the conclusion, that more than half of you “rap” listeners don’t know shit, about hip-hop or rap.

This is a disgrace, to the original Marshall Mathers LP. This is not what Eminem is, or was. To be perfectly honest, I stopped listening, after about the first verse. Em has lost it, and his new rendition of MMLP, will be a major flop.

Thinking he would even title the album as such, is disrespectful to the culture that he helped create. Em will never be like he was, but for “RAP GOD”‘s sake.. It’s time to hang it up. I can bet that the new album will have 3-5 gems. The rest will be trash.

Em at his best, was the Bad meets Evil sample cd through to the Eminem Show. Fell off, and came with a good or decent album with Recovery. And, truthfully, by that time I had stopped listening to him. A couple friends, turned me onto tracks like “Seduction” and “25 to Life”

      1. How can you be a judge to a song when you listen to 1/4 of it?

Luckily for hip-hops sake, you seem to be the minority opinion of this track.

      2. You two obviously don’t know enough of music, tv, or abiut the entertainment industry, period.

In actuality, a listener would only need 30 seconds, of ANY song, to know whether they would be interested in it or not. That also goes for tv show commercials, advertisments Movie previews etc.

I gave this track more time than that and formed an opinion. If the track moved me in ANY way, I would have given it, it’s due time. It did not. So why waste more of my time listening to the rest.?

Luckily, being part of the minority opinion of a listener group has it’s advantages.

MY money stays in MY pocket. Your money will be spent on a considered flop album. If you listened to Hip-Hop/Rap throughout the decades, you would realize actual sustainable music. LEGENDARY status songs and music.

This will NEVER reach that peak..

      3. It’s a 6 minute song and the first verse is the shortest….
The third verse is literally like twice as long with probably 4x more bars, and is a contender for verse of the year.
The first verse isn’t even bad though, it’s actually a solid verse apart from like 2 filler lines.

      4. How the hell is naming an album after one of his own fucking albums disrespectful to the culture he helped create? Hip hop was well rooted way before Eminem was ever relevant. As for me, I think Em’s best work was when he was most hungry, his EP. But still, this track right here is crazy and deserving of the title.

    120. i think the reason i dont like eminem is because the thing i can appreciate is his skill to rap…other that that, his songs arent very appealing or songs i would ride around to in a car. but like i said his has very good rap skill. but u gotta be a hi hop head to like him. i have to like the overall sound to the song, and eminem just doesnt have that sound im lookin for in music

      1. Fair enough of a reason. It’s hard to like a rapper if you aren’t feeling the production, although I personally think most of the beats he rhymes over are pretty solid.

    121. All you people talkin shit are just mad cause you aren’t as successful as him……you are probably as lame as lil B or riff raff

    122. Just glad to have bars on bars on bars. I’ll agree with some of the comments that this track didn’t have the most pointed premise, but it’s great to hear his wordplay and flow back again.

    123. drake makes better music than eminem its a fact. No1 can replay these trash eminem songs with horrible beats he may rap good lyrics but this is still awfull music. It fucking sucks. Drake makes good music he has so many top hits out this year while eminem only has 1. Eminem keeps flopping and producing garbage. Just deal with facts dont get too emotional fuckboy stans. IN 2013 DRAKE IS THE FACE OF RAP AND EMINEM FELL THE FUCK OFF.

      1. haha everyone sees you on every thread trying to defend drake. pretty obvious that drake is a singer who tries to rap but cant. makes top hits for 13 year girls but not a single song has lasting value….miss me, over, headlines, best i ever had? nobody even playing that shit anymore. drake runs pop music. remember lil bruh, the loudest one in the room is always the weakest, keep hoppin on the thread of every song defending cupcake drake, we see you.

      2. Em’s singles sucked but this right here is good. You’re right about replay value but damn, Drake doesn’t have SHIT on Eminem

    124. eminems songs have no replay value now. No1 can jam to this garbage play it in a whip and enjoy the music. Whats the point of rapping good if you can’t make a good song with replay value. You stans dickride him so hard but i bet even you can’t replay this song more than 3 times with out getting a head ache.

    125. Don’t like the beat too much but if u can keep up with Em’s rhymes, he definetly brings it on this track. It’s a hell of alot better than Berzerk.

    126. i dont know about everyone else but i feel Eminem has gone down hill drastically and this is pretty shitty. i dont deny he has talent but the beat is disgusting and his flow is fucked. i will not buy this album not even close to the first MMLP

    127. SheeeeiiiiT! it’s insulting to this dude to only give him 5 dope, he’s way beyond a rating. HE’S A RAP GOD! DAMMIT!

    128. sucks rip eminem 1999 to 2005 i bet the people liking all his new stuff are 13 year old recovery fans who found him after that garbage pop single love the way you lie and not afraid from that horrid recovery album. His flow isn’t the same as it was back then/

      1. nobodys flow is the same as it was in 1999 the fuck you talkin bout? kanye and jay z albums are prime examples. em packed more lyricism into one song than magna carta holy grail had in the entire cd. appreciate real rap lil bruh.

    129. Listen, here is an exercise in your listening vs. visual prowess…. attempt to read the lyrics while listening simultaneously to the song and see if you can keep up. Then repeat. Then you will understand why Em is a “Rap God.” (i’m not even going to attemp to have you rap dicks try to count the number of double and triple entendres”…)

    130. Dope song. This guy is simply at another level.. Ppl begging for real rap after the control track… They got what they wanted right here with more to come… Ppl are crazy to say he fell off

      1. No he can’t. He’ll do good, but he ain’t fuckin with the punches. No one in the game has more metaphorical complexity and flexibility. Kendrick is dope, but I jus mean as far as metaphors. Other than that…hell yeah he’d eat this beat.

      2. Redman is the most lyrical artist out but Em is just more popular. Stop reaching so much with the GOAT Lyricist crap.

    131. just for the record..this is nothing like mmlp or slim shady

not necessarily a bad thing though.

“yall want my old shit, listen to my old albums”

    132. this guy is on another planet of lyricism. Nobody been in the game as long as him and still spitting with this hunger and fury. Any hater that claims otherwise, no problem, get your spitter to raise their bar, good things for hip hop all around.

      1. I like Kendrick but this is just Em showing off thats all.. Kendrick better have brought his A game on the song he collabed with Em on… Cuz Kendrick is about to be controlled

      2. WHAT?how is Kendrick in ANY conversation other then new jacks with potential?really?Kendrick hasn’t done shit! You guys love giving trophy’s to potential!

    133. For all of you guys saying there’s no substance, clearly you are all missing the double meanings and references he drops throughout the entire song, not to mention the bunch of disses he throws as well. Clearly you all are missing the whole point of this song. Part of rap and hip hop is lyricism and craftsmanship of the words, and how you deliver them. You can’t deny that. Em is known to be one of the best, if not the best at it (credit to other great lyricists here). What is wrong with a song that is clearly titled to be about how he is the best at it and displaying to us his versatile ability to do so? The song is exactly that and it is pretty monumental in MY opinion. I can’t however, give it a 5/5 only because the beat sounds like a more hiphop version of the harlem shake, hahaa. 4.5/5

    134. Em ain’t back, he never left. His worst album better than your rapper’s best. Noone touching this. Not even close

      1. u a bitch bruh..lamar been out 1 lil ova a year, one album an he yo king…suck dragon dick wit herpasyphllactitus

    135. This is awesome. He just basically spit this song in 5 different styles to show he can do it better then everyone else out there. RAP GOD

    136. this shit is basic and yeah what!,,,,i wanna see yall nigga ride around listening to this shit in your ride,,,,this shit is groupie music,,,music for the groupies,,,,,this nigga basically said a whole bunch of nothing,,,,sound like therapy to me,,,,,just lettin shit out, no real direction,,,,nigga just wailin!!

      not hatin just my observation

    137. My thoughts on this track: 4/5, the beat sounds like the harlem shake beat, which I didn’t like much, but I think it was necessary for em to do to prove his point on this track….From what I heard he took shots at: Gucci Mane (trap God, Rap God Line), Waka Flocka, Lil B, Canibus, Ray J (Mayb Fabolous), he responded to Kendrick (comparing himself to all the rappers and then ripping it)and I truly believe he’s going at Jayz and his camp bcuz they call themselves Gods (wannabes)…for the first time he didn’t really diss women lol…I liked it, hottest track since The Eminem Show IMO…I still think the album gonna be whack, especially since they dropped this b4 the rhianna track

    138. I don’t care how “lyrical” the shit is. His voice is one of the most grating voices in hip hop history – and these carnival beats have got to go! And I thought Nas had the worst ear for beats.

    139. Eminem “Rap Go!!d” The best rapper in the game!! Put your hands up rappers and step back from the mic!! Master your flow!!

    140. u niggas sayin this mofo weak..u garbage..cleanya ears..on all points this muthafucka rocks tha world…555555555555555555555

      1. Nodding acquaintainces like you are hasty in according undeserved laurels to this irritating voice Caucasian.
        Rap God my ass.
Maybe Rap Illuminati. He still aint gat shit on Nas, G rap, O.C, Scarface, Kendrick, Game, etc
Fuck coz u think he does the double time flow, he automatically is the best
Eat Dicks for Lunch U Eminem acolytes. This shit is run of the Mill, take it or leave it.

    141. Shit I used to think Em had a 3rd lung. But now I’m starting to think he has 4 lungs and an extended HDD of 10TB in place of all his other organs.

    142. Ladies and Gentlemen, Slim Shady is Officially dead. He has been fighting it out the last couple years, but it is not for that time of struggle we will remember him, it is when he was at his peak, when he was the best out their. Times like the Slim Shady LP and the MMLP where he gave you what was real and wasnt afraid to rap about deep and dark stuff.

    143. Fuck this fake shit. Freakish lines dont mean sb is ill with it.Same cliched subject matter is what he banks on. Same rhyme style.and all of a sudden, these dick riding creeps grab his dick and lick it in praise
why the fuss over this guy.
Go listen to O.C and Nas’s albums and discern the difference u wimps

    144. Still not impressed with this shit, his flow was nice but that’s it. Em fans love dick riding, they cling on to anything he shits out.lol!

    145. berzerk and survival..berzerkz got some aiight moments..survivals a commercial money maker…but this one..this tha legacy hit…

    146. 1 – Nas fans (refuse to realize he fell off after Gods Son)
8 – Biggie fans (he signed to that clown diddy)

FYI i support outkast, hopsin, game, dmx and tyler

      1. There are alot of racist fans out there, not just eminems.. everyone one that hears a white rapper thats black talks shit and its 9 time out of 10 racist.. or vice versa… Either way Eminem and the other people you listed must be doing something to make listen to there new song/albums and then publicly hate and slander them because you have no skill, your a hating ass critic…

      1. This white boy used to be good, now all this nigga release is pop shit. Another album with pop singers comin and of course all you white boys will snatch it up and say its the best thing ever cuz we all know only white boys buy his albums!!

    147. What happened to Em’s ear? The skills are still there no doubt, but this beat is gawd awful. Berzerk is shite, so is Survival. His production on the last Slaughterhouse album was laughable. It’s hard to believe Em was studying under Dre all these years when you hear some of his selections lately.

    148. if u still think eminem is irrelevant, than why does 4 songs in the top 10 that are the most discussed on hiphopdx, rap god just solidifies his status in rap history. i am not saying he is definetly the greatest to have ever done it, but he is top 5 definetly

      1. In a Battle Dmx>>>>> Eminem

Albums Flesh of my flesh is his 2nd best album>>>>>>>>>>> any em album

Energy on the mic DMX>>>>>>. EM

Countless cla##ic verses, 4,3,2,1 and 24 hours to live, niccaz done started something, ruff ryders anthem >>>> any Eminem verse

        DMXs single >>>>>> ems singles

Dmx impact on the game >>>>>>> Eminem impact(Just made kids think cross dressing is cool)

X took the game out of the shiny era dolo and made ruff ryders that label..

Will continue to do better than em on Sony records.

        U heard it here first

      2. eminem destroyed dmx in go to sleep so don’t compare dmx to em. as for 2pac, tupac lyrically was just average. ppl dickride him to much. he had emotions in his songs…so what, eminem has tons of meaningful songs, but he is lyrically better

    149. And I know the white boys are going to get mad at me for saying that..But you know in your heart it’s true.

      1. This is a funny comment because every other Eminem hater says the opposite… It dont matter to me, his rhyme scheme is unmatchable… Alot of stuff goes over peoples heads because they are the ones that’s simple minded… I like the song personally

      2. eminem doesnt really say anything? ur joking right? plz tell me ur fucking joking. cuz drake is sooooooo lyrical with his non stop radio crap .. 70 percent of this site is absolutely moronic..

    151. Wayne boasts about his Blood Gang ties since 500 Degreez and he hasnt been checked or murked because he is RESPECTED in the Blood Gang commmunity.

Em has ZERO respect in the streets

      YMCMB!

      1. If Wayne has respect in the streets how come he been ran up on a couple times? Including once by the biggest bitch in rap 40 glocc and why hasn’t there ever been a video of eminem getting ran up on? Shut the fuck up and go dream about suckin Wayne’s dick faggot.

        SHADY RECORDS

      2. Ok here we go

Lil Wayne – boy even crack moma’s think this nigga retarded as fuck. 0 respect.

Drake – “fuck that niggaaa that you love soo badd, i knowww you still think about the times weevvee hard. Nuff said. 0 respect

Tyga – Flopped twice, rack city still the stupidest song ive ever heard. reason why we had no respect for him and stole his fucking chain. 0 respect.

        Nicki Minaj – 99.99% plastic. 0 respect.

The Game – Washed up but like a 40 year old shaquille oneal, refuses to leave. 0 respect.

Birdman – heard his name never bothered to hear his music. 0 respect.

    152. Great flow, insane wordplay & head spinning rhymes. There could of been a little more substance, but this is still the best Eminem track that Em has put out in awhile. Can’t wait for MMLP2 & excited the most for the track featuring Kendrick Lamar. November 5th just can’t cem quick enough!!!

    153. You have fans, and you have non fans… and then you have haters on this site that thinks theyre critics and what they say matters…SMH… over half the hating critics are fans because Eminem must be doing something right for you to listen to his new music and then hate on it but give him free promotion… lol

    154. Just wait for the true best song of this album, love game with kendrick. You know they are going to give that song the best track and they are both going to give there best verses kendrick knowing he is going against the best to ever do it still trying to prove himself as the new best while eminem knows that this is the rising star who is the new best trying to take his spot, and it appears like he has much respect for.

      1. kendrick’s gonna destroy old washed up eminem on that song. gonna be disappointed if he only does the hook. that will mean em is scared of being outshone by another rapper after lil wayne killed him on no love.

      1. You are both stupid. I haven’t heard Marvin’s room and it might be good, but saying Em wishes he was on Drake’s level is ridiculous. Come talk to me in 10 years about Drake, In Em’s first 3 years out he was all anybody in Rap talked about good or bad, Drake only seems to be talked about on an Em song site. If Drake can last over what now 15 years on top then maybe your comment might be valid

    155. oh my god, this song is horrible! all you stans make me sick, like everything eminem puts out is the best thing since sliced bread. fuck outta here lames. tuscan leather >>>>>>>>>>> this track.

encore- trash album, was drugged the fuck up
relapse- stupid ass annoying accents all through the album
recovery- pop trash, yelling through the album
      mmlp2 will be no different

eminem fell off, point blank period! give it a 1 to bring the rating down.

    156. Why do only bad comments get replies show some love and not only hate people. AND I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT MY COMMENT BECAUSE I WAS KIDDING.

    157. Ja Rule – Fuck Fame Tracklist:

    158. There’s no doubt EM can spit and is a top tier rappers. But lets keep it real, this shit here is trash beatwise and the lyrics aren’t very impressive either. The saving grace is his double time delivery, which while fantastic got tired quick. (I smell a Tech 9 lawsuit coming if this is how he’s going to rap. Jokes people.) But seriously what was up with that one total gibberish verse?? Was this his best JJFad impression or something. As for the bars, even after reading this shit written out you’d be hard press to find me one dope quotable line. Now while the haters hate for no reason and the dickriders simply follow their namesake. True hip hop heads know while this is better than the other stuff he’s drop lately he still has a ways to go to gain his spot as one of the top spitters in the game back. I’m rooting for you tho EM, this just not it.

      1. first sentence

“There’s no doubt EM can spit and is a top tier rappers. ”

        at the end

” he still has a ways to go to gain his spot as one of the top spitters in ”

        wut bro

      2. Da truth’s a fuckin idiot em can outrap any rapper out rite now. you might night like his music but bar for bar flow for flow cadence for cadence no one is touching em.

“School flunky, pill junky, but look at the accolades the skills brung me, full of myself but still hungry”

      3. Da Truth don’t know shit about real hip hop. If yall listened you would catch the lyrics on this shit and meaning behind it

    159. This song is good, but i think he will do better with a few on the new album. But people posting that he not as good as Pac and Biggie DMX need to shoot themselves. If a guy releases an album five seconds later people dont need to ride Pac dick and compare them on top of that if Pac just started releasing songs today he would be underground no one would know him. DRAKE ALL THE WAY!!! just kidding he fucking sucks. just listen to the fucking song.

      1. 2Pac was like Jesus and Nas wrote the bible, while eminem stood in the corner butt fucking a guy named “this whole game up” and beating the shit out of kim.

    160. Lyrics, lyrics, lyrics that all people wrote. There are plenty of better songs lyrical but its still good. Music isnt music if its only built on lyrics excluding flow, beat, etc. So what you dumb faggots are saying is you think listening to lyrics with no beat or flow by an announcer would tell who is the best rapper. wow….at least defend your arguement

    161. shit the comments are slowin down if we dont get to 1000 in the next 90 minutes i am tracking down the last comment writer at the end of that time and killing him.

    162. Top 10 albums since 2005
      1. Wax – Continue
      2. Kid Ink – Up & Away
      3. Lil Wayne – Tha Carter III
      4. Kendrick Lamar – Good Kid, M. A. A. D. City
      5. 2Pac – Pac’s Life
      6. Drake – Nothing Was The Same
      7. Kid Cudi – Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager
      8. Isaiah Rashad – Welcome to the Game
      9. Pusha T – Fear of God II – Let Us Pray
      10. Eminem – Recovery

    163. You put Lil Wayne (anything by wayne) above Kendrick Lamar Good Kid Maad City?!?! Your integrity in anything hiphop is at jeopardy and has been compromised.

    164. Kendrick has already done this……

Kendrick Lamar – Playing With Fire (C4 mix tape) whole song he raps super fast with solid verses but he goes all out at 3:20-4:00

    165. this is not even a top 5 song on the album. Em knows to pre release the songs that he knows will be overhyped if he does so.

    166. fuck this 29 hrs and still under 1000 comments. hotnewhiphop.com requires you to get an account and they still have 600 more comments.

    167. I love reading all these wack ass comments. Em is the God of Rap.No one has done all he has done and been through all the shit he has. And tupac…tupac was the shit, no lie. My main man back then. But Em has way more accomplishments/years on him. Can’t even compare the two. Em has perseverance… continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure, or opposition. If you ain’t got that u ain’t got shit. Keep Bringin’ it playa…u deserve it all.

    168. Sub-par, production, lyrics, flow and creativity.

Really tired raps, Em is like watching a 40 year old veteran struggle to compete with Lebron, Durant, Rose, etc.

Has his fan base that will support and buy anything he does, he deserved fan base.

But when compared to what’s being produced out there in the game, this is sub-par.

      1. In the past few years, Cole, Drake, and Kendrick are all making way better music than Em.

Before that, Wayne and Kanye were making better music.

Only Em’s first 2 albums and 8 Mile was worth purchasing for me. His body of work since then is 1 good album, the rest when compared to elite rapper at the time it’s flat. And now he sounds tired and old.

I gotta say, at the ~40 age, only Nas and Jay-Z are coming with it, they’re making better shit than Em is, no question about that. They’re like some Tony Gonzalez’s, old but still producing at an elite level. Em can’t compare right now, sounds way too dated.

      2. At no point have J Cole, Drake, Kanye, or Wayne been better than Em. Kendrick and Nas are in his league. And Jay used to be in his league – MCHG was garbage.

    169. 1. He is white. Not saying that as racist but he has had to overtake a lot to become a young white rapper who doesn’t look like he should be a rapper.

      2. He can be very political in his raps like 2pac. He talks about killing people including the president and gay people.

      3. He is the best lyrical ever. Sounds good doing it and he could beat anybody in a rap battle.

      4. He is like a music technician. He perfects his music being in the studio for ever perfecting the sound.

      5. He doesn’t talk about bitches and drugs like every other rapper. He’s real and you can relate.

      1. 1. Vanilla Ice

        2. “political” …. GTFOH

        3. Best lyrical ever? what does that even mean>?

        4. His beats suck wood. He ruined a whole 2pac album.

        5. “He’s real”… to white people.

    170. If ANYONE thinks this isn’t lyrical, use your fucking brain please and go to Rapgenius.com
His flow is incomparable and truly astounding.

    171. At the age of 17, Eminem was being a geek in high school, reading dictionaries and hanging out with nerds.

At the age of 17, Lil Wayne was living the life of a true Blood in the mean streets of New Orleans.

      ‘Nuff said.

This album will be complete overhyped TRASH! All of Eminems verses are a bunch of random one-liners glued together with a glue stick. GAY!

      Dedication 5 >>>>> MMLP2

Lil Wayne is and forever will be the KIGN of HIP HOP and he is also the SUPREME GOD

      YMCMB!

      1. Lil Wayne met Baby at 11, dropped out at 14 (while being an honor student) to focus on his music, and got signed at 15 with the Hot Boyz. Get your shit straight–Lil Wayne is not, and has never been ’bout that life.

As far as rap skills go Eminem slaughters Lil Wayne on every front–lyricism, flow, punchlines, metaphors, anything.

        Your opinion is invalid.

      2. you my friend sound like a complete ymcmb groupie. eminem failed 9th grade 3 times u fucking idiot. gain some hip hop knowledge before talking. lil wayne is trash.

    172. Eminem has amazing skills, but this song is boring and I dont understand why his fans cant handel it.

I prefer Bezerk , “RHAP GOD RHAP GOD’

NICE SNEAK DISS TO KENDRICK, PREPARE TO BE OWNED.

    173. He has flow and can rap but there are no lyrics in this song… sorry stans,
but i dont want to hear about Ray J and Fab having a little fight and TV special in a song..

He name drops more than Game in his track.

    174. Never Wayne will never be king of anything. U cnt be king if u have ghostwriter lol shout out to Gillie da kid u made Wayne a household name

    175. IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 30 YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE AN OPINION OF EMINEM.

YOU DIDNT GROW UP WHEN HE WAS HOT

AND SORRY BUT THIS SONG FUCKING SUCKS

RENEGADE,WARRIOR,CRIMINAL,ROCK BOTTOM THOSE WHERE HOT SONGS.

      EMINEM BEEN ASS SINCE 2005

      1. @brandon: not “your an idiot”, but “you’re an idiot”. By the way, you’re the idiot in this conversation

      2. why do i have the feeling you’re under 30? you’re probably like 23.

when you say you “grew up when he was hot” means you were probably like 10 when he blew up.

lol. dude has always been corny, in a good way. this song is more skillfull than his early shit (though probably not as good musically)

      3. I’m 32.
I was 16 when I fist heard him on DJ Rectangles Wax Assasin.

I have seen him live twice.

This new stuff has no substance, his old stuff so many peoplecould relate to

      4. Listened to Em on underground uni. radio station before Slim Shady LP dropped.

Saw him live about 14 years ago.

His new stuff is trash compared to what he did early on in his career. Not surprising very few rappers actually get better throughout their careers. Pac was one of the few exceptions, he was getting better throughout the years. But he died before he could reach the age that many of these rappers who are 40ish now. Knowing Pac, he wouldn’t be bother rapping, he’d be directing, writing movie scripts, doing some next level things that these guys could never accomplish.

      5. You can’t have a opinion on Hip Hop mate you didn’t grow up when it started – that’s basically the same as your logic. What pathetic drivel.

    176. Why just WHY doesn’t he never feature rappers like Tech n9ne, Jay Z or Nas for example on his albums? Everyone and even he knows it would be dope.. I think he is scared of something. He always tries to out do the others on every track. Maybe he is scared to be over shadowed on his own album which is ridiculous because we know it wouldn’t happen.

    177. Flow is classic and on point. Anyone who considers themselves a fan of rap needs to listen to these lyrics and rethink your negative comments. Please listen to the lyrics cuz you sound like a jag off……jag off…..

    178. Ahhh I don’t know mayne. Eminem got barz! But this joint right here… So far the two singles don’t live up to the hype. I hope this new album will have a remotely similar impact to the MMLP. One of the greatest Hip-Hop albums of all time. Respect due, but I hope EM will come with something better than this.

    179. Look, so far as SKILLS and straight TECHNIQUE goes… SOMEBODY has to set the bar. Ever since he got back on (Post-Relapse) that role goes to Eminem, get it? Shut the fuck up about the content: he has references to the entirety of hip-hop in here, from RAKIM, RUN-DMC, to BUSTA RHYMES, and even to RAY J/FAB or whatever (past, present, future: plus his own history as an artist). Honestly, oh and don’t even say that he’s biting Twista, you kidding me? How long has it been since that gimmick-mongerer has been relevant? Plus Busta’s been on the downslope of his career for awhile now. Em stays elevating, consistently. UNDERSTAND.

      1. referenes so many situations in this song, its a great song. love the last line where it references kendricks control verse

      2. Skill level? Andre 3000. Shit, I’d even say Ludacris dope if all you’re gonna go by is rappin in double time. Lyricism? Ghostface Killah Sean Price MF Doom. Subject matter? Redman for old heads. Meech Darko for the new school. Battling? Most of the rappers in URL, KOTD and Grind Time.
And since you mentioned it…Em hasn’t been dope since like 2001…but these Stans are callin him the greatest EVER?!? Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit

    180. Em has nothing to talk about anymore, bottom line. That’s where the problem is, his content is complete and total dog shit ever since he started this weak attempt at a comeback with “Relapse”

And I agree with the guy who said if your under 30 you shouldn’t have an opinion on Eminem, because if you were there when he was good you’d know that nobody ever gave a fuck about whether or not he could rhyme 10,000 times in a 4 bar measure or if he was gonna use 30 different flows and voices on one 6 minute song about nothing. He blew up cause he had humor, told good stories and came with some raw emotional shit. Now, he cant do that anymore so he overcompensates with the mechanics.

“Oh look, Eminem has a new song out, its all about bird shit but look how many flows he used”

      FOH

I’m sure he’ll still sell alot of records, his fame and reputation, the stripes he earned back when he didn’t make music like this, will always sustain him. But we all know if he sounded like this Pre-fame he would’ve never amounted to shit.

    181. This beat is just terrible, and I think that is without question. This is the kind of mediocre forgettable and poorly made beat youd find on a mixtape handed to you in a parking lot by some guy named H-Stacks who works at Burger King full time. This is not a beat suitable for an artist with any kind of budget, much less the most successful rap artist of all time on a song where hes making claims to be the best to have ever done it.

Yall can defend this song lyrically if you want. Ill disagree and say its mostly filler or trash, but I can see your point of view and say it depends on the listener. Thats reasonable disagreement. But unless this is the first beat youve ever heard, you gotta admit that this beat is garbage. This shit would be garbage in 2002, that something this bland exists in 2013 is a fucking shame. This is some white kid from Connecticuts first beat on fruity loops type shit that he made in an hour to fuck with the program type shit. I hope every basic ass forgettable producer in America hears this shit, realizes even their worst beat is way better, and proceeds to take their craft to the next level in anger that some scrub got paid on the Eminem album. This shit is pitiful.

tldr: I dont like this beat at all tho

      1. its a weak rip off of UK grime.

\dude should have gon direct and got a real UK grime beat… this sounds like piano elevator music production.

As for EM … some of these bars aren’t corny… most of them are super corrny… its better than most of his efforts… but rap god? nawwww

    182. you guys hating on the beat don’t get it…he’s mocking all the dudes who rap over these retarded types of beats and lyrically shitting all over them. at one point or another he practically mocks every shitty mainstream rapper out there right now

      1. Keep telling yourself that. But those of us with common sense know that an artist isnt gonna pick a beat he knows sucks and release it as a single and put it on Itunes for sale just to make a point. Eminem picked this beat because he liked it and thought it was dope. Just like he picked all those shitty Alex Da Kid Boi1da beats for Recovery thinking they were the best thing in the world.

As much as people use to hate on his own production, he sounded better over that simple ass shit lol

      2. Lol exactly, why would he use a crappy beat just to get his point accross? That’s just retarded. Stop being such a stan and think before you write. Thinking EM is using a crappy beat just to convey a point is plain stupid, he obviously digged the beat if he’s going to throw it on his album.

      3. His lyrics in this one are waaay more important then the beat. You guys are from the dumbed down generation of rap where its %80 beat, %19 hook, and %1 lyrics. This song is definitely not for you. I recommend you click the links for the new DJ Khaled songs. They should be more towards what you are looking for in rap.

      4. Yeah, in this song definitely the lyrics is more important, but the beat has to be better than this. Some of the Em stans are delusional thinking he picked a garbage beat on purpose. Stop with the excuses. Em’s beat selection has been horrendous lately. He almost single handedly ruined Slaughterhouse’s last album with the beats he produced or picked. Em was feeling the beat, otherwise he wouldn’t put it on the album. Nobody puts a beat they think is trash on their album on purpose. Rap God, Survival, Berzerk are all dooo dooo beats. Lyrically he snapped on this tho. Fact is more times than not Em picks beats that have no soul, rhythm or funk to them. His last three songs are perfect examples.

    183. It’s pointless to add anything positive about Eminem in here because I see people are just ready to hate regardless. The same ninjas that be talking about the streets and what’s hot there are the same ninjas that don’t live in the streets and are not about that life…better yet, the shit that’s hot in the streets is the shit that leaves hip hop yearning for better artistry. If people want that dumb ass argument to have any fuckin validity (What’s hot in the streets…), we can only talk about the 80’s to the late 90’s. If you are going to tell me that Lil’ Wayne, Yo Gotti, 2 Chainz, Future and all them ninjas are what’s hot in the streets, them i’m sorry…I’m not about that weak ass shit! I know no one wants to listen to anything that has something to do with other than the trap life and making money and selling coke so they can play pretend Scarface in their mom’s house and shit dreamin about that life but as soon as it happens they turn straight bitch. The shit I see people talk about Eminem all the damn time is so dumb. Dude’s nice on the mic…made fun of the entire game, rapping circles around circles of ninjas but people still hate….which makes me think…the shit they claim is hot, is what they hate on being not. Think ninjas…think!

    184. this is aweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesome, yes he is a GOD

you haters dont listen to the lyriks, just the beat, go and listen to 2Chains and Soulja Boy ncnc

    185. this is eminem now, its complicated and not gonna relate to teens.
if youve seen his transitions its understandable and one thing that hasnt changed with him is hes not hiding. hes raw and himself. tupac, biggie, eminem, nas, jay-z.

    186. Heres a top5 that doesnt include pac, big, nas,em or jay (generic list)

1.Big boi (Most consistent rapper alive)
      2.Rakim (Best flow)
3.Scarface (Real OG, king of the south)
4.Andre 3000 (kills every guest ft)
      5.Ice Cube (realest rapper alive)

      1. Heres a bunch of great rappers who dont get enough praise and should be in peolpes top 5.

        Noreaga
        KRS One
        Prodigy
        Method Man
        Redman
        Keith Murray
        Sticky Fingaz
        ODB
        Pun
        Slick Rick
        Masta ace
        DMX

      2. ……Big L?????? again no black thought, he has to be the most slept on rapper. Shout out to you for repping Andre 3000 kills ALL guest verses, bodied T.I on his own shit too

    187. again? If it takes him 3 attempts to be “back” then he obviously should retire lol. This old fart can just fart on a song and u kids would suck his dick lmaooo RIP Eminem

      1. DJ Khaled has some new “street” songs for you to listen too. Why don’t you head over there and talk about how gangster him and Ross are while fantasizing about being one yourself. Leave the real music to those of us with more then half a brain.

      2. Lol your Ignorant. This guy is still all over the news when he drops a single…and you claim he “fell off”. I’m guessing your favorite rapper has never even went gold, because you must be listening to someone full of shit.

        http://www.eminemalbum2014.com

    188. awesome. the only meaningful box this song doesnt tick is “sharp social/political commentary” and if you expect that from eminem then your always going to be disappointed, its not even a critisim, its just not what he does and he doesnt have to. sorry haters but it genuinely has everything else a real hip hop fan could ask for.

and the beat is surprisingly awesome at a high bit rate with a decent set of headphones – probably the best beat ive heard eminem rap on for quite some time (very much in the same vein as the great tracks from yeezus – so yeah if you hated the critically acclaimed production on yeezus youll hate this…but youll be wrong!)

      1. Best beat Em’s rapped on for quite some time?? You gotta be kidding. The beat is garbage. It’s the kinda beat I never wanna hear again. He went in tho.

    189. Eminem – Rap God (Ghostwritten by Yelawolf)

Honestly dude just bit Catfish Billy’s flow! Still fucking tight as hell tho!

      1. Quit posting your wack ass website here bro. That shit looks like it was made by a 3rd grader. No one wants to read you stupid ass, simple minded opionions. Get a new hustle son. That shit aint for you.

    190. As an accountant for Game and Black Wall Street, I can confirm that each of his albums are really platinum. The last two albums he released RED and Jesus piece went gold within the first Month. and a couple months after they were certified platinum. However this was not published due to many of his sales were unaccounted for. Many other rappers do not actually go platinum as there sales have been overaccounted like 50 cent, Eminem and Kanye.

    191. There should be a southpark eppisode where eminem just farts on a record and it becomes “greatest of all time” cause this shit sucks.

      1. Quit posting your wack ass website here bro. That shit looks like it was made by a 3rd grader. No one wants to read you stupid ass, simple minded opionions. Get a new hustle son. That shit aint for you.

    192. This is ridiculously dope. How the hell are people hating on this? A lot of the comments mention the beat but Em is the type of rapper where lyrics speak louder then beats. You kids have been listening to these garbage ass rappers since 2006 and you forgot what rap is all about. Waka, Wayne, Ross, Gucci, etc. MUST rap to raw beats because their lyrics are garbage as fuck!! The beat masks their lack of talent and you idiots fall for it everytime. I could understand why people don’t like it cause there a lot of things that will fly over your 3rd grade reading and comprehension level brains. If a nigga ain’t shit like ” my ring as blue as the sky” or “my whip shine like chrome” you clowns won’t be able to process it. Hey, keep listening to that bubblegum garbage and shaking them soggy ass dreads.

      1. This is the most accurate and intelligent post I have EVER seen on HIPHOPDX!! Anyone who say that this track isn’t anything short of genius is in serious need of some hip hop schooling!! I’m not a very big Em fan, but the dude can probably murder ANYONE in the game! And this track kind of proves it! Sick flow from the flow-master! 1st 2 tracks sounded like all the new garbage out, but THIS!?! This made me look forward to the LP! Dope beat and even DOPER lyrics! I officially dare any rapper to come at EMINEM so we can all sit back and hear them get slayed like the old days! And Yelawolf can’t hold a candle to EM! That’s straight fan-blinded talk right there!

      2. Completely agree! I’m not an EM fan and confess he killed this lyrically! The stuff that’s out now is way to production driven. Kendrick is about the only new rapper that takes it back to the esscence.

      1. Stans haha. Ja Rule killed his career over 10 years ago? What drugs are you on and may I please have some. Youre and idiot sir. Go back to your lil wayne garbage ass music.

    193. HI MY NAME IS STAN AND I DON’T EVEN HAVE TO LISTEN TO THIS SONG TO KNOW THAT IT IS GOOD BECAUSE IT AUTOMATICALLY IS GOOD BECAUSE IT’S BY EMINEM!!!

    194. i love how most of u hate and say he has nothing to write about or his content isnt relevant. THe man knows that and fucking says it in his lyrics “ur stuck in a time warp in 2004 though” atleast hes still bringing the flow

    195. Im only here as Crooked I said Em’s double time on this track was hella cray………..he aint lying

      1. Actually if you knew anything about Em then you would know that was his style when he was underground. People love to talk shit. Look up his rap olympics videos. This song is real rap. Keeps you on your toes. What line is he going to say next. What style is he gonna spit next. Not one line on this track is predictable.

    196. NOBODY has more haters than eminem. They come listen to the track just to hate. Just respect the ridiculous flow and shut the hell up. This track is nice.

    197. @Mike
Do you know what color panties he is wearing too? cuz you seem to know a lot about him LOSER.. and I can “predict” that his songs with Skylar Grey and Rihanna are gonna be trash along with the rest of his album LOL

    198. This beat and lyrics are complete garbage. If it was Lil Wayne, Drake, Rick Ross, 2Chainz, etc with this exact same beat and exact same lyrics, people would be trashing this shit song so hard! 1/5 stars

      1. I’m almost certain that if one of those artists you named wrote lyrics that flowed like this, people would be pretty fucking amazed and unsure of what they just witnessed. As, in my opinion, they are all simple shit artists.

      2. he just doesnt understand what hes saying cuz he is to slow to keep up with em, and is probaly like 18 years old with no sense of music or rap becuase its so watered down. aka jerk boys, gay wayne, drake, wacka fucka dame

    199. his new voice doesnt complement beats like it used to which is a trait of elite rappers but his flow has evolved to almost make up for it.

    200. Everyone stop talking about this mediocre shit and talk about something with more meaning like, Black Milk perfected album. Rap God is no where near the caliber of NO POISON NO PARADISE!

    201. Rappers who sell millions will always have haters…jay has them..kayne has them..kendrick will have them too the better he does…hip hop has some of the worst fans in music and DX has become full of trolls anyway ..just on straight lyrics, flow, and rhymes he destroys this track the metaphors are insane .dont care how famous he is or how old he is he flat out kills it

    202. u may not like the lyrical content.. but noone can switch in and out of different rhyme patterns, voice changes, and styles and still be understandable as effortlessly as eminem. sometimes the content is ridiculous but your favorite rappers favorite rapper will forever maintain that respect from his peers who know how difficult it is to do what he does.

    203. You want evidence to show you why EM is still at the top of the game with his flow, wordplay, metaphors and so on….just start reading the comments and how many comments this song has generated….judging off the attention he is receiving i believe he is the Rap God

    204. Okay we know Ross is a former cop but what about:

50 Cent snitched to the feds on murda inc

T.I. snitch to the feds. getting a year for buying illegal weapons?? come on???

Young Jeezy was not bmf and Gucci Mane exposed him as a fraud

mobb deep making music since they were 13/14 years old so off course they were never criminals

ice cube was 14/15 years old when he joined cia and later n.w.a off course he was never a gangbanger

eminem never was a serial killer or a homo hater. he did a song with elton john

      snoop wasnt really a gangmember.

Fans don’t realize hiphop is ENTERTAINMENT! who cares if rick ross was a former cop its about music!!

      1. youyr stupid u can buy a liar for a couple hundred grand that could get you out of the charge look at O.J. Simpson and how the fucc would u know if snoop is a real gang member? hae you been to long beach? do u know crips down there? no, so stfu

    205. Only two songs in the last YEAR has had more comments than this one in two days. Berzerk at 1941 and my life by 50 cent at 1264. BOTH of those songs also featured eminem.

    206. What would make for the best track ever: Lil Wayne (only used for the chorus and for a wayne track) – Best to Ever do It (feat. Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, 2Pac (I know they got plenty of unreleased verses out there they can find one and put the theme around it enough so it fits), Drake (to do part of the chorus and when he actually wants to he can rap, almost everything he has done with wayne are his strongest verses to so thats another plus), & Meek Mill (used in small doses on the song and says ooh kill em a couple more times lol))

    207. Suge Knight killed 2pac and BIGGIE so much evidence pointed at that, only reason he didnt get convicted is cuz death row had tons of cops on pay roll that did the shooting and they told the guy that was cop that was investigating it and had started to put all these links together to stop investigating for a cover up, just watch the movie BIGGIE AND PAC.

    208. …….well damn….that flow was crazy…..especially the 3rd verse…..

BUT….still dont know if MMLP2 will be any good (by “EMINEM” standards….not by 2days)…..I want that introspect look of MM with dope song concepts (MMLP)and wheres his mind at 2day….sounds like he’s just rapping to rap now…….

      1. yea its 14 years later how could he rap about the same stuff when his life is drastically different and hes 40 wtf….

      2. Kendrick Lamar – Hi Five ! *@Anonymous* Em’s BULLET PROOF.

That is the same shit I’ve been telling people out here…Seriously!!!! He’s in such a different spot right now…successfull, drug free, with the exception of Proof…Life’s good son. Em said it himself in Kill You #ICantRapAboutBeingBrokeNoMore

    209. Only on the now wack and troll filled hiphopdx is this getting hate. This is straight fire, metaphors, flow are sick

    210. he dont want to be pop

bet he didnt expect us to call recovery pop

probly why he wished he never put it out and 50’s album got shelved

i rather see him diss everyone and only work within his crew ..like the old days

em trying to bring hiphop back to its roots

and then u got kendrick challenging the game

its time to raise the bar

    211. just when people were talkin all that ish about “Berzerk” and ‘Survival” em drops this piece of fire…..

    212. 1. 2Pac
      2. Jay-Z
      3. Eminem
      4. Notorious B.I.G.
      5. Kanye West

Nas: Out-shined by Kendrick, not on the same lyrical level as Eminem…

    213. Greatest MC EVER in Hip Hop history!!!!!!!

      1. LIL B
      2. Kreyashawn
      3. Waka Flocka
      4. Riff Raff
      5. 50 Tyson
      6. Lil Romeo
      7. Chingy
      8. Chief Kief
      9. Gucci Mane
      10. Soulja Boy

Honorable mentions: Birdman, Bow wow, Paris Hilton, Migos, Dj Khaled, Mc Hammer

      1. Sorry can’t take ur list seriously unless there an honorable mention of oj da juiceman, greatest “technical” rapper and lyricist

    214. love to hear EM reference RAKIM, LAKIM SHABAZZ, PHAROAHE MONCHE
HEARING EM SPIT LIKE THIS MAKES ME WISH EM AND KRAYZIE BONE WOULD DO A JOINT TOGETHER JUST RIPPING HARD AS FUCK

    215. I agree this album doesn’t have much buzz compared to all of his other albums. Probably because people are disapointed with the songs they already heard like i am.

This will probably sell 450-500k in the first week, which is low compared to Eminem standards. Just to give you n example, his worst album relapse sold 608k inthe first week and that was his lowest album. I don’t see this one selling more

    216. This album has no buzz, no commercials about it, no Eminem appearances anywhere and no one talking as nearly as much as his other albums. Wtf seriously? this gonna sell like 400k first week at best. I mean Recovery had more hype surrounding it than this album. He did live appearances, skits etc.. Em is back to being a fucking recluse again.

      1. Everyone has been WAITING for a new eminem album.. you’re both his singles leaked have sold over 1 mill on itunes in first week.. You’re a dumbass!

    217. ur funnny think these ablum wont sell he well sell out all these rappers that came out these whole year lolololol because u know it is true

      1. When i listen to a rap song i list to the lyrics, the flow, the content and the beat. And in this case the beat sucks major balls and the song has no content. Flow and tecnique is alright.

Now go educated yourself and stop being such a cockrider. Not because the lyrics are good that it makes the song good, there are other aspects idiot.

    218. HI MY NAME IS… HI MY NAME IS… HI MY NAME IS STAN AND I DON’T EVEN HAVE TO LISTEN TO THIS SONG TO KNOW THAT IT IS GOOD BECAUSE IT AUTOMATICALLY IS GOOD BECAUSE IT’S BY EMINEM!!!

      1. no only a person who LISTENS to hip hop would actually wanna know what the fuck he says. Who wouldn’t want to look up lyrics to a song are you retarded?

      2. Only a dickriding stan would look up the lyrics? What the actual fuck, you’re too stupid to understand what he’s saying so unless you look up the lyrics you’ll be fucking clueless to the lyricism in this song whether you’re a ‘Stan’ or not. And yeah I thought he said nigga too, but he didn’t, after the second listen it’s pretty clear to hear that he didn’t say nigga unless your ears are jammed with mad earwax.

      3. Call everyone who likes the song a stan but your too stupid to think he actually would say nigga in a song now..you need lyrics in order to keep your stupid fuckin thoughts from being on the internet.

    219. love reading comments from hiphopdx people, aka college suburban kids, and people who think wacka fucka is nice and drake is the best thing since skim milk..we all know eminem is one of the greatest rappers to hold a mic. half his lyrics fly right over your heads so people be like ohh he need to be the 27 year old eminem lmao, if that the case we should tell jay z to go back to reasonable doubt days. and yup im an eminem fan dont care..bring on the shit talking lmao

    220. Let’s be fair folks, I’m a huge hip hop fan, I love everything from Pac,BIG, Nas, Pun ,Big L, early mob deep, jay-z,ll cool j, NWA, Kane, Old snoop, Eminem, Dmx,Rakim, Krs-one hell even Nelly had some listenable stuff at once stage and the list goes on not gonna keep naming people… Everybody knows for a while Eminem was releasing questionable material. Though some of it wasn’t out and out trash, it didn’t seem up to par with his first big three Lp’s. I thought relapse had some good tracks, encore had some good tracks and also recovery… but to hate on this and not appreciate all the eras and styles of hip hop he’s incorporated into it is fuckin ridiculous and it just feels like the hottest shit he’s dropped in years and the hottest shit I’ve heard all year so, people that wanna call it thrash that’s your opinion but to troll hate on this is just fuckin petty man… Shit’s a fuckin gem!

    221. What he is actually saying is uninteresting and boring but his wordplay and flow are sick so it makes up for it. But for people saying this is lyrically amazing, the content is shallow and has little substance, and thats the real meaning of lyricism.

      1. Your kidding. It’s classic hip hop lyricism. The entire song is an exercise in hip hop references – the meaning of the lyrics are to showcase how he’s a god of hip hop because he lives it more than any other emcee. Check this out: http://www.complex.com/music/2013/10/eminem-rap-god-rap-references/

He murdered like 20 different types of flows. He just one-upped everyone in the game not only in technical ability but also in his rap knowledge. It’s unreal.

      2. co sign with daloniusmonk. thats the truth. hate ppl who try to be the outkast just be cool. gtfoh. its not the best song all time but my god its fuckin sick lyrically. the song is called rap god for a reason.

      3. The “content is shallow”–what a dumb complaint about a lyrically dope track. You know what hip-hop is, dumbass? I mean, in its raw elements? Take a look at a cypher. Ain’t nobody there trying to save the world, just trying to get on the lyrical flex.

Go cry your eyes out to some Immortal Technique while I’m over here getting down with some fucking Black Thought and Big L–“In the van with ya bitch, both hands on her tits.” How’s that for content, dipshit?

    222. Technically its great. Not groundbreaking though Bone Thugs, Tech n9ne and Twista already did the rapid fire style ages ago, so nothing new.

He’s still a gifted MC but his prime is way in the past.

    223. gotta agree with the niggas sayin this lp aint got buzz goin. no buzz for this one it aint gona outsell recovery but fuk sale shit

    224. Faggot ass white boy, never seen a dude have a complete transformation from what he used to be. Dissing Britney Spears, N sync and all those boy bands only to follow suit couple years later. Fuck this queer. Fuck anybody who don’t like my opinion on this sellout fuck. Garbage ass music, dude used to be the shiznit, not he’s just a bitch for the business, Jimmy’s bitch. Fuck Dr. Gay too. 2PAC 4 EVER, WEST COAST 4 LIFEEE 90’s to early 2k, fuck all the soft shit, fuck this faggot white boy too, and his fans, fuck em. deuces

    225. Rips off Chingy’s 8th album so hard. And a few lines from Mim’s 6th album. The third verse is basically the 5th song off Yung Joc’s 14th album. For shame M&Ms. 10/10

    226. I AM ONE OF THE GUYS THAT ALWAYS SAY HOW EMINEM IS AS A LYRICIST (BLACK THOUGHT, PHAROAH MONCH. TALIB).

      BUT THIS SONG WAS INCREDIBLE

    227. FYI, EMINEM FANS, A COUPLE RAPPERS HAVE CALLED THEMSELVES RAP GODS YEARS BEFORE. RAKIM, KANE, AND COUNTLESS OTHERS. MOST RECENTLY, PUSHA T CALLED HIMSELF GOD ON NEW GOD FLOW

    228. Eminem and Yelawolf bout to take over the game. You know they got their AK’s loaded about to kill everryyyone. KKK bout to rulw shit up in here!!! burn them all. WHITE POWER!

      1. ShadyWolf … What a F’ing show this is about to be I have never been more excited about music from just 2 artists (and maybe a handful of other true musicians)

    229. eminem was a bitch for a long time. whatever you muthafuckas think, eminem aint shit. in OAKLAND, we aint got no white feminem muthafucka trying to rap in here haha.

one thing about this faggot, he makes 14 out of 16 tracks about his fucking family, WHO THE FUCK DO THAT? fuckin boring wigger, we dont give a fuck about his mom or daughter.

fucking sellout bitches fuck outta here!

      1. Stop crying bro you’re making Oakland look bad.

Go rob a liquor store and get some money to go buy the album.

      2. E40 and Yukmouth aint cutting it neither…bro
u aint got no FEMINEM NIGGAS BUT u do have DRAKE NIGGAS…see what i did there?

      3. and nobody gives a fuck about you, eminem thanks you for taking the time out of your life to listen, and also take the time to rant about how bad he is. when i hate an artist i dont listen to their shit!!

    230. I was at the grocery store, perusing the well-stocked shelves of artificially manufactured food product, aisle upon aisle of the finest edible plastics and minerals known to man, when from some unseen mechanism a sound did begin to blare, whistling and warbling with reckless abandon, thinking not even of its own safety as it barreled down snowy hillside on an oversized garbage can lid, the makeshift sled throwing a mighty wake and burying any in its path. This same snow began to line the aisles until it became difficult to walk, requiring me to brace myself against the shelves. I did this and found the steel and aluminum melted into molten globules of an unfamiliar gelatinous substance, the cans and jars becoming naught but millions of glowing eyes, staring into my soul from the depths of their nebulous lair until I could feel myself becoming one of them in the overbearing heat and blackness of the imperishable goods.

I fought my way desperately through the pine arches and log cabins filled with mighty smoke elementals, beyond the valley of the cybernauts, screaming with horrible resonance, my tentacles flailing uncontrollably; I fought against the invisible force that bound me to that foul slime-sheathed plateau, and in a final surge of strength and will I burst through the portal and was immediately disintegrated in a flash of light.

    231. smh @ em biting Tech N9ne’s style. everyone with half a brain knows Tech’s always got what he calls “schizophrenic flow” where he changes up his flow every few seconds in his songs.

      1. Calm your tits, hipster.

Tech’s style is generally Chopper, does that mean he’s a biter too?

Every current rapperTech includedis influenced by his peers & predecessors. If you knew Tech’s style as much as you presume, you’d know that Eminem is a much GREATER influence on him than vice versa.

Em utilizes a similar flow pattern to Tech, but I also still see a bit of Busta Rhymes, Slick Rick, Treach, & Pharoahe Monch in his Rap God flow.

      1. Ill keep it real I never understood how anyone could actually say Ems the best lyricist in Hip Hop with a straight face. The vast majority of his verses are simple as fuck. Take the infamous Renegade verse(s)

See Im a poet to some, a regular modern-day Shakespeare
Jesus Christ, the King of these Latter-Day Saints here
To shatter the picture in which of that as they paint me as
As a monger of hate, satanist, scatter-brained atheist
But that aint the case, see its a matter of taste
We as a people decide if Shadys as bad as they say he is
Or is he the latter, a gateway to escape
Media scapegoat; who they can be mad at today
See its easy as cake, simple as whistling Dixie
While Im waving the pistol at sixty Christians against me
Go to war with the Mormons, take a bath with the Catholics
In holy water, no wonder they tried to hold me under longer
Im a motherfucking spiteful, delightful eyeful
The new Ice Cube, motherfuckers hate to like you
What did I do, Im just a kid from the gutter
Making this butter off these bloodsuckers
        Cause Im a muthafuckin’

I heard multis, simple imagery and a nice flow but little wordplay or deeper lyricism in general. You understand everything hes saying on the first playthrough, theres no curveballs.

        Now look at Jay-Zs verse

I had to hustle, my back to the wall, ashy knuckles
Pockets filled with a lot of lint, not a cent
Gotta vent, lot of innocent lives lost on the project bench
Whatchu hollering, gotta pay rent, bring dollars in
By the bodega, iron under my coat, feeling braver
Durag wrapping my waves up, pockets full of hope
Do not step to me, Im awkward, I box lefty
An orphan my pops left me, and often, my momma wasnt home
Could not stress to me I wasnt grown, especially on nights
I brought something home to quiet the stomach rumblings
My demeanor, thirty years my senior
My childhood didnt mean much, only raising green up
        Raising my fingers to critics
Raising my head to the sky B.I.G. I did it, multi before I die
No lie, just know I chose my own fate
I drove by the fork in the road and went straight

The flow isnt as nice but the imagery is on a different level than either of Ems verses, as is the wordplay. Im not saying Jays verse requires a lot of listens to decipher but I am saying that I dont see how anyone could say Ems verse was lyrically better.

      2. How can you say he’s not with a straight face? And how old is that verse? EXACTLY. Hop the fuck off Jay Z’s dick because Eminem has never failed to put out a good verse and Jay Z has for the past few years been mediocre as fuck and dragging Kanye down with him.

    232. Shady back and he’s gonna smash your h0es! Kanye watch out for KIM cause she looks real good after losing weight. Im sure she would hesitate to leave your sick behind for EM.

    233. Eminem using loads of different types of flow and rhyme structure. Sounds like he’s laying down a challenge, definitely stepping up his game.

Rap god? I don’t know, maybe just beginning to ascend. Beat is weak and kinda annoying though. The annoyance is made worse by the censorship, it just messes up the flow and pisses you off.

      1. He is a rap god, I bet 90% of his wordplay you won’t even pick up the first 10 times listening to this, that’s how dense it is..RESPECT

    234. Not feelin it. We want the old eminem back hes tryin to hard and his beats lately are just straight garbage

    235. Damn y’all are some hating ass niggas on this site. If hiphopdx had been around when Biggie dropped Ready To Die, i’m sure most of the comments would be about how mediocre it was.

    236. Time to end this G.O.A.T. foolishness.

In this constant debate about Jay-Z being the best ever I read things like “Nas will destroy Jay-Z” or “Eminem got a better flow than Jay”

      Those are OPINIONS.

When will you fools learn that you can’t win a debate with OPINIONS. Every rapper has a different style based on where they are from, the time period in which they were most successful, and their unique personality. We all can go on for days about our personal preferences but in a debate criteria like this is completely IRRELEVANT and automatically BIASED.

The only way to win a debate is with cold hard FACTS. And the fact of the matter is that, when you weigh all of the tangible criteria (Sales, Critical Acclaim, Consistency, Longevity, and Impact) Jay-Z makes the strongest case for the G.O.A.T.

Eminem has sold nearly twice as much as Jay-Z, and he is Jay’s equal when it comes to longevity and impact. But Em lacks the consistency or critical acclaim that Jay-Z has (Im not talkin cult/fanboy classics, Im talkin CERTIFIED classics. XXL/Rolling Stone/Source approved) Eminem is VERY close though.

Nas has enjoyed more critical acclaim and more overall respect in the hip-hop community through the years. And he’s definitely equal to Jay with longevity and impact. But he hasn’t been no where near as much of a consistent presence in hip-hop as Jay has. And he is obviously lacking in the sales department.

Lil Wayne just may be the most consistent rapper of all time. He’s no slouch when it comes to longevity and impact either. His glaring flaw? In his 12 year career Lil Wayne has yet to drop a truly critically acclaimed classic album (and it can be done in this climate. just look at kanye’s discography). Also, contrary to popular beleif, Wayne lacks in the sales department. Sure, Tha Carter III and IV are blockbuster albums, but his OVERALL sales of 10 mil US pale in comparison to Jay-Z’s 31 mil.

2pac is a touchy subject. When it comes to impact, pac takes the cake. No other rapper touched the world like 2pac did. He, like Em, has also sold more than Jay and he was very consistent in his time. Sadly, 2pac passed before his time which allowed Jay-Z to surpass him in longevity and critical acclaim.

LL Cool J was the prototype for what a G.O.A.T. could be. He has enjoyed the most longevity, and he was fairly consistent, but his sales, acclaim and overall impact are no where near the likes of 2pac, Eminem, and ofcourse Jay-Z.

Biggie, Rakim, Common, Snoop, the list goes on. All of these MC’s are great but none of them have the total G.O.A.T. package like Jay-Z does.

Jay-Z is the 3rd highest selling rapper of all time, and the richest. He’s one of the most acclaimed (perhaps only rivaled by his boy Kanye). He dropped multi-platinum albums YEARLY from 96′-03′, and he is still going strong today. He’s been in the game since 88′. He’s impacted hip-hop in countless ways from starting one of the 1st successful MC-owned record labels, to being the 1st non-athlete with a signature shoe, to surpassing the likes of Elvis with #1 albums.

Jay-Z is without question the Greatest MC Of All Time. Period. You don’t have to listen to him everyday (Im currently on my Kendrick wave). You don’t even have to like him. But for goodness sake, RESPECT THE FACTS!!!

      1. like you said, everyone has their own opinions on these things. you make some solid points. however, listing XXL as a reputable source for deciding what’s classic and what’s not is a major flaw. xxl sucks.

      2. “Vox populi, vox Dei” – The voice of the people, is the voice of God. Eminem got more fans than Jay-z worldwide. So if you want facts there you go.. (Sales and awards not included which Eminem easily beats Jay-z)

      3. Jay Z is fucking garbage now and has been for a few albums, even a dickrider like you should realize that. Eminem has always been good and his style has always been the same, he’s never changed his shit to adapt to the changes in the industry, it’s always been that crazy motherfucker with the perfect delivery and fucked up imagery. Don’t even try to say Jay Z is the G.O.A.T, and honestly there is no G.O.A.T because like you said that’s an opinion. I would say there are multiple G.O.A.Ts and Jay Z would be one of them perhaps if he hadn’t given in and changed his music to try to fit in with the industry. His last two albums and the one with Kanye were garbage, you don’t need a critic to tell you that. And even so what makes a critic’s opinion more legitimate than yours or mine? They’re just people too. And LL Cool J?? GTFO of here when was the last time you heard a song by that guy? If you’re judging a G.O.A.T completely in terms of sales and the money they have now then Jay Z would be, but I judge a G.O.A.T on their music. By the way, you didn’t say a thing about Big L, if you want a lesson in what the word “flow” means, he embodies it, no one but Eminem comes close to having such a precise delivery.

      4. You typed all of that just to contradict yourself?!! FACT: No one rhymes multisyllables with the technicality that Marshall does. See how easy that was? Rap God > Magna Carta LP

      5. Eminem has always been good and his style has always been the same, he’s never changed his shit to adapt to the changes in the industry, it’s always been that crazy motherfucker with the perfect delivery and fucked up imagery.

^ EM has the privilege of making ANY type of song and crossing over to ALL MEDIA OUTLETS. no other rapper can say that. I can attest to EM being played on alternative radio stations. is it because he is that good?

    237. Em is a muthafuckin problem. Beast mode isn’t the word for this. I don’t think there is a word that can describe that flow.

    238. Slim is really all by himself in his own world when it comes to rhyming. Ain’t no one near him. This is pretty much a “nobody can rhyme like me declaration”, just a flex of skill. You could tell just by the intensity and the way he flawlessly switches his cadences like 10 times or more and how he transitions from one flow to another inside the same beat and still puts together multisyllabic rhyme patterns after multisyllabic rhyme pattern is amazing. All while delivering punch lines and wordplay. Em really is a God emcee. He’s earned it. Motherf uckers want to hate on him because he’s a white boy, but I can care less about that crap. I’m Latino but just like RAKIM himself said, slim is nasty. Greatest emcee of all time, the most skilled emcee I’ve ever heard.

As for the guy who mentioned jay earlier on, c’mon dawg?! Jay is light years behind eminent when it comes to just pure rhyming skills. F uck sales, f uck awards, f uck all the other nonsense and lets keep it just pure hip hop. When it comes to what really matters; the skill of rhyming…….Eminem can grab jay by the hand and literally teach him how to rhyme and that’s the truth, even jay knows that. His ego is huge but he isn’t deaf, he knows he ain’t f ucking with Slim.

      1. “Eminem can grab jay by the hand and literally teach him how to rhyme and that’s the truth, even jay knows that. His ego is huge but he isn’t deaf, he knows he ain’t f ucking with Slim” I absolutely agree 100 percent. and in terms of sales eminem is doubled on jay by the way

      2. “I cant fuck with eminem..Im pretty sure I got everyone else covered though” -Lupe. google it if you dont believe it

    239. As he has from the beginning, he’s just daring someone to come at him and no one can.

Also, I don’t care what anyone says, the beat is dirty as hell. Love it.

    240. I must admit I wasn’t expecting much. But he did go in lyrically. This album won’t come close to the first MMLP.

    241. He may not be the same rapper he was, and this isnt exactly something I can bump rolling down the street, but he still took rappers to school. This shows why he will always be considered one of the best to ever do it.

      1. tell me this, has eminem ever been the guy than you bump to rolling down the street? That isn’t eminem’s style, people have expectations that are not possible. Listen to some of his other top songs like lose yourself, til i collapse, the real slim shady, or not afraid and then listen to this. It’s in the same category.

    242. OK if this is only opinion then Em is the better lyrically but Jay is far better business wise song is still doper than a lot of $hit out right now

      1. they are rappers…who gives a fuck what they do financially or off the mic??? em kills jay in every fucking way possible and im black if you thought of starting any random race shit that has nothin to do with this

    243. why da fuck dont yall like relapse n recovery AT LEAST LYRICALLY. ppl hate on em just cuz they dont yet give them memory feeling niggas actin like they some oj juice man or solj boi lps or sum shit

    244. okay Eminem has got my attention again cause bezerk n that call of duty advert sucked dick but this shit is crazy
      Eminem
      jadakiss
      nas
      styles p
      ghostface killah

    245. Damn, as far as skills, EM is one of the illest to ever do it. Hands down, hje took muthafuckas to school. Lets see gucci or waka or even drake do this shit. Hes a throwback to when rappers were cold, fuck being hot. Still on that pharoahe monch grind!

      1. Eminem uses words with such eloquence that makes them sound like they rhyme when in reality they dont when you pronounce them normally. In this verse he tells the other rappers to pack their bags because nobody can bend words like he can, hence the acrobatics metaphor.

Backpack Rap is a term used to describe rap artists who rap for suburban, rather than make hood music. This could be Em saying that hes received criticism for his recent, softer album Recovery.

Yackity-yak is noisy talk: talking without saying anything. The line may be a reference to the song Yakety Yak by The Coasters. In the song, yackety yack is followed by dont talk back, which Em may be silently implying here.
Yakity YAK is implying words into listeners minda that arent even said in the song. In the famous song Yakity Yak Dont Talk BAck Telling back pack rappers not to think about talking back or trying to diss Eminem. The genius part of this line are the words that Eminem doesnt even say. DONT TALK BACK

      1. Apparently attention to detail isn’t your strong point either. It’s your, and you even put the ‘ in the wrong spot.

Also, he was saying this record (Rap God) shits on his (Jay-z’s) whole album. You should really read the comment before you go calling people an ‘absolute retard.’ Just makes you look like an idiot.

    246. BOY GEORGE IS ON POINT FOR THIS ONE. THIS WANNABE RAPPER IS STRAIGHT BIPOLAR. HE LAUNCHED HIS CAREER WITH HOMOPHOBIC RAPS AND THEN APOLOGIZING IN FRONT OF THE WORLD BY PERFORMING WITH THE GREAT ELTON JOHN. THEN THIS HYPOCRIT RAPPER HAS THE AUDACITY TO ABUSE OF THE GAY COMMUNITY ONCE AGAIN IN HIS LATEST SINGLE FOR HOPING TO MAKE A COMEBACK OF HIS FALLEN CAREER JUST FOR SOME SALES. U DONT SEE NO DRAKE DOING THIS FOR SALES CUZ LIKE HE SAID QUALITY MUSIC BRINGS SALES AS U CAN SEE WITH 700K FIRST WEEK.

      1. Spelt and spelled both work as the past tense and past participle of spell. u both are fuckboys go back to school.

      1. Why would Em respond to a nobody? Think about how much Em could clown him if he actually wanted to..

        Ex pig
        Fat ass
        Cant rap for shit
Chain jacked by 50 and put in a music video (lol)
        Stole someone else’s name

Em wouldn’t let William Roberts get any extra attention using his name, instead, Lloyd Banks killed him on Officer Down…

    247. Faggot ass white boy, never seen a dude have a complete transformation from what he used to be. Dissing Britney Spears, N sync and all those boy bands only to follow suit couple years later. Fuck this queer. Fuck anybody who don’t like my opinion on this sellout fuck. He aint shit out here in OAKLAND! Garbage ass music, dude used to be the shiznit, not he’s just a bitch for the business, Jimmy’s bitch. Fuck Dr. Gay too.

2PAC 4 EVER, WEST COAST 4 LIFEEE 90’s to early 2k, fuck all the soft shit, fuck this faggot white boy too, and his fans, fuck em!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    248. Do you all actually think eminem gives a FUCK about what you all have to say about him? you all write these long ass paragraphs like hes going to come on hiphopdx and read them lol, have a good rest of the day crazy people and appreciate what you get

    249. Eminem will continue to drop records whether you all like them or not deal with it or leave it alone, the man will sell regardless of what he puts out, he cant do anything wrong anymore! hes a Rap God… listen to it or get the fuck out

      1. real shit bro…how could a rapper be that good for this long, hes fuckin 41 years old about to drop another classic..only the strong survives and he outlasted everyone from his era…rap god definitely

    250. LOLOL at the ppl saying the song sucks because the beat is bad. WOW, really? That’s what your paying attention to? SMH.

      1. We’re not listening to acapellas here, so yeah, the terrible beat does bring down the overall quality of the song a little. It doesn’t make the song suck but it is hard on the ears.

    251. thile is better than dat awful song. makes up for it actually. im coppin dat album def a rap god. along wit yeezus and wutang.

    252. This song sucks, lame beat, lame chorus and about 10 good bars out of the whole. This album so far sounds like shit. and he shouldn’t be name dropping pharoahe like that trying to get underground credibility. Eminem’s is one of the best of all time and has wasted more than the last half of his career only managing a few good tracks in the process. All his fans are now flavor of the week following teens who didn’t understand the title of this album until it was explained to them.

      1. You conveniently leave out how his flow is the best it’s ever been in this song, and “10 good bars” are you joking? Maybe 10 good punchlines, but most of the bars are full of internal rhyming and pure energy. Beat and hook definitely grew on me.

      2. First off this song is dope. now the beat and chorus isn’t your over saturated “young Chop” “Mike will made it” recycled tempo. because he has way more to offer lyrically and no the beat isn’t bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce that ass. and you are forgetting eminem’s early underground grind where he had to battle cats like pharoah monch and rhymefest long before he got on.

    253. SCARY STORY:

      Drake: it’s urs

Rick Ross: i dunt want it

      Drake: it’s urs

      Rick Ross: fuk off drake

      Drake: it’s urs

      Rick Ross: k

Drake: own it, own it, own it

      Comment if you’re scared

    254. SLAUGHTERHOUSE ALBUMS SHOULD BE BETTER THEN OBIE TRICE CHEERS AND SECOND ROUNDS ON ME

THOSE ALBUMS ARE CLASSIC, SLAUGHTERHOUSE IS ALL FUCKED UP , ITS LIKE THEY DONT TAKE IT AS SERIOUS AS THEY USED TO BE

EM USED TO BE SO FOCUSED DONT HE CAN RAP LIKE HE DID WITH G-UNIT OR LIKE HE DID ON SECOND ROUNDS ON ME

GUESS IM STUCK IN A 2004 TIME WARP

      1. You’re out your fucking mind if you think The Way I Am is better than Rap God. TWIA is one big ass crybaby track dedicated to people that get talked about a lot.

    255. In a Battle 2Pac>>>>> Eminem

Albums 7 day theory is his 2nd best album>>>>>>>>>>> any em album

Energy and passion on the mic 2pac>>>>>>. EM

His verse on Bomb First>>>> any Eminem verse

      2pacs single >>>>>> ems singles

2pac impact on the game >>>>>>> Eminem impact(Just made kids think cross dressing is cool)

      1. Someone needs to get off Pac’s dick.

Fact: Eminem has sold way more records than Pac
: EM is 10x more lyrical and technica than Pac.

      2. fff pac has the record for most money made off albums and he was only in the game for 6 years go learn something and who gives a fuc if pac is dead hes music is still relevent today and still makes more money then your favorite rapper go read some numbers fuc boys

      1. aye..befo u go talkn bout PAC bein real n shit, u should go read up on’n..his music is untouchable, but him, yea he a fraud ass nigga…all that westside bs..and tha muhhfuka was from NY

      2. pac comes bac an kills fags like you pac was born in harlem raised in baltimoore got the game in oakland hes all over he got shot in ny and got love from the west WHO THE FUC YOU THINK HES GNA RIDE FOR

    256. its funny how half of these niggas saying the old Em was better but they dont even know his discography…this dude below saying he loves the Eminem from “Shit hits the fan”…he only does the hook in there u stupid fuck…we talkin about lyrics here…but i guess u stupid ass niggas only fuck with catchy hooks and beats

    257. Dear Eminem fans, You faggots who say you hate shitty pop music like Justin Bieber, One direction, and Keswhore are total fucktards. You just as overrate Eminem as JB fans do to Justin, and you defend Eminem no matter what. He can say he fucking hates his fans, and you faggots will still love him. You defend all of his songs, even his shitty ones, and you think you’re so cool for that. You Eminem fans are huger dickriders than YMCMB fans. Fuck you Eminem fanboys.

      1. Gain a little literacy before you try to call somebody a “fucktard.” All you are talking about is Eminem’s fans. You didn’t make a single comment about the actual substance or lack of ability in his song…probably because there isn’t anything you can say. Eminem murdered this track…punchlines, wordplay, double entendre, double-time rapping that is mind-blowing, talking about past beefs, talking about how he keeps getting criticism for being too “mainstream,” and much more.

    258. Yeah, love it or hate he’s finally back on his A shit. Don’t have to like his sound but can’t deny he can’t be touched technically if you even have a clue as to how bars go together. All the faggots like this 2pac4life bitch below go kill yourself hahaha

      1. i think hes fukn around in tha studio hard fa a minute..all tha ish u read aboutm says so…i feel like tha man been polishin his shit up on every track..jus waitd fa that shine moment feel me

    259. i will consume the vulnerable children of the streets with my ferocious lust for power and control. They will not escape my sick, cold grasp. The gorilla will isolate the weak and the unlimited domination will persist indefinitely.

    260. SMOKING DMT WILL SEND YOU TO HYPERSPACE, YOU WILL BE MOLESTED BY MACHINE ELVES, THEY WILL PENETRATE YOUR ASTRAL VAGINA WITH DIAMOND FRACTAL COCKS

    261. Track is about absolutely nothing, and the beat and hook are super corny. I have no reason to ever listen to this song again, in life. Not surprised it’s rated so high though, people are dumb. All it takes for a rapper to be considered “lyrical” these days is play with the words, rap fast or shout over the track. Fuck actual substance and lyricism. Eminem hasn’t had anything new to talk about in years…Hailey is grown now, and he can’t complain about his mom at 45 so now all he does is random gibberish with multiple syllables. Sorry [white] people, I need some actual content and substance in my songs. I’m not impressed.

      1. What do you want him to talk about, all the millions of dollars he has? or the 50+ million albums sold world wide?
Or the work he’s putting in on the studio producing other artists? Once you reach a certain point in life you really don’t have much else to talk about except for the glory days. But unfortunately I would much rather listen to this song which you claim is about nothing than stupid ass two chains, wacka flacka, or chief keef, or the fraud rick ross..

      2. Is this song better then 2 Chainz or Waka or whatever, yes. But that doesn’t make it good. I would rather listen to nothing then pretend to like this bullshit for lack of a better alternative. And there are plenty of things he could rap about. You can rap about literally ANYTHING, but this dude chooses to ramble on about nothing. btw Get off his dick, I don’t care how much money he’s made off of his fellow Caucasian wannabes. That doesn’t excuse his half ass lyrics. Just not impressed, sorry.

    262. Eminem doesn’t have anything to talk about because he lives a reclusive life. That’s why a lot of his references in his lyrics like “K-Fed” are super tired. It’s almost like he’s stuck in a time warp. He rarely speaks on anything currently happening in the world. INCLUDING his own damn life.

The song is kinda’ whack BTW.

    263. this rappers gotta take notes on this shit no rapper today will beef with em especially the rappers of today they don’t want it

    264. stop rapping. you suck and there are way better new rappers. if dr dre releases detox it will suck to. what dose dre have to talk about. i’ll wait

      1. We’ll have to see his record sales in the first week. LMAO.. He will make more then you in one week then your lifetime. We’ll see who sucks .. yet you probably think Lil Wayne is the best LMAO

    265. I bet all you haters are probably wearing skinny jeans while listening to your wake flocka flame cd staring at all the drake posters on your wall. Haters don’t know music.

      1. Joy, really? lmao.. SAD, Nothing Was The Same was terrible. Thank me later was way better lyrically. He thinks he is Justin Timberlake or something..

    266. Subjects eminem could take on this album
      – falling out with xzibit
-Feeling loyal to dre when his beats just are not up to par and wanting to work with other producers
      – being a recluse , agoraphobic and how he can’t leave the house as he got to big
      – how much he wants have have a drink and pop a pill smoke some weed, but can’t in fear he can’t stop
-what he does with his time these days? He he dating? Lonely?
      – how adopting his ex wife’s sisters kids affected him and why he did that
      – coping with loss

This song doesn’t address anything other than he can spit but where’s the content.

      1. honestly i feel like this was just to start shit with people agian talkin shit to the gay community and stuff like classic slim shady

    267. Does anyone realize he is murdering all new artists? This song is about something! It’s about him being the greatest at spitting, wordplay, fast rapping, rock rap, about the genre that he created. He also disses MGK on many lines who lives in the ROCk/rap space. This song is relevant and the greatest piece of music from Em/rap in a long time. If you don’t like it good. Go listen to Walk a flock of flames… Read the lyrics and just try to comprehend the bars.

    268. 4/5
eminem is very skilled technically, his flow is amazing and syllable-game is unmatched. however, lyrically, nothing too spectacular. Very good overall

      1. YAH JUST WAIT TILL HE LYRICALLY SMASHES LIKE 5 SONGS ON THE CD, YOU NEVER GET THE GOOD STUFF TILL LAST, AND IF THIS IS WHAT IS COMING OUT SO FAR, THIS CD SHOULD BE A CLASSIC, 2 SONGS

    269. The track may not have a singular or universal theme but I wouldn’t say its about nothing. He does mention being criticized by the backpackers for being too mainstream, flunking out of school, being a pill head, Ray Jay’s dumb shit, etc.

      1. this white guy has sold millions of ppl to rap music and sold more records than any black artist reppin and rakin dough for the genre dumb shit

      2. white people aint killing your culture bro, especially not this one eminem hAS joined white and black artist together. i think you got it twisted !!!! it’s good music weather he’s white or black as far as i’m concerned.

      3. WRONG! Eminem works only with Black rappers… he has never been on a song with just 1 other white guy,,, he was on the song with slaughter and Yela, and with Yela and Gangsta Boo, but hes scared to do just a white back to back…

        why u scared Doggie??

      4. No dude. Black people are killing black culture. That’s why you have people like Soulja Boy, 2 chains, waka flocka and these other simpleminded idiots thinking that shit is lyrical. I co-sign with Nas, Rakim, Public Enemy, and others.
If you think that Eminem is killing the “black culture” then you don’t know what hip hop is. The white boy is doing it better than his counterparts. It’s a sad state when you have a white boy doing more for hip hop than black people. Sorry, but

    270. All the people who don’t know about double-time rhyming and cadences… shouldn’t be talking because if you are listening to this song looking for the typical crap they talk about in hip-hop today like women, drugs, sex, or money .. look somewhere else. He uses about 6 different flows in this song, proving that he is just about the only lyrical rapper whos able to pull this off. This is real lyricism unlike Lil Wayne, rick ross, dj khaled etc… if you’ll can’t see that.. im sorry.

      1. agreed dogg, I don’t care what anyone has to say against this track ,the real people know hip hop and will speak for this, it’s miles past what anyone is doing !

      2. ever heard of main stream rap music?? notice how the majority of them suck to people that actually know music? lol Eminem is CLEARLY untalented but he makes so much much money because all of his fans are retarded and brainwashed by the mainstream media…he doesnt give a fuk about his fans lol… all the fans are doing is supplying his pocket with cash that he always raps and yaps about… Nas on the other hand he never changed he was hungry when he sold over 20 mill and still is…

    271. Someone needs to check Eminem over this,
But no one will as they know diss the white man and it will hurt their career so Jay z and Nas grit they teeth when they hear his new shit and say “mnnn i like”
Cause em is dope but this is fucking wack and EVERY Mc know it.

      1. get yo ANON ass tha fuk on dawg..this track fya..tha otha two serve they purpose..radio ish..wit berzerk havin more concept to it..

    272. Real hip hop

      Talib Kweli
      KRS One
      Mos Def
      Nas
      J Dilla
      WU Tang
      Mobb Deep

I see all these Em fans and there lists, This is pop im sorry so for all you saying “if u don’t like this you don’t know what real Hip Hop is, GET A FUCKING CLUE! Then Comment

Insert hate below cause I know u mad.

      1. how is this pop did you not hear what he was saying this song is anything but pop and if this is pop wtf is soulja boy to u a gangsta rapper?

      2. That’s just your opinion and an opinion that I respect, it all comes down to what you consider “dope”, and I think rap god is dope.

      3. I disagree…just because it has Pop (Popular) elements doesn’t mean it’s not real Hip Hop. I think that’s a part of the artistry actually. Taking different elements of music, from different genre’s, and making them into Hip Hop takes a hell of a lot of skill. It’s evolution my friend.

    273. all the comments and views for this song just goes to show how good this guy is hate him or love him hes the fuckin man

      1. COSIGN. clearly the mans doing something right again if all u haters and stans are beating off to either diss or praise. the mans got the hip hop world stirring again and thats what the fuck hes best at.

    274. This Is So Damn Weak Yall Like This Shit He RAppin TO DAmn Fast Yall Don’t Even kno what he saying look up the lyrics dumbass

    275. PEOPLE YOU SAY HES CHANGING NOT TALKING BOUT NOTHING HES DOING THE SAME THING HE DID BEFORE HES TALKING SHIT AND STARTING PROBLEMS THE PROBLEM CHILD IS BAC SLIM SHADY IS HERE

    276. Ask Jigga, Funk Doc, Ice-T, Nas, Tical, Cube, Busta Bus, K Dot, House Gang and anyone else who knows real hip-hop and real emcee’n…they will tell you that Em is Dope; one of the very best to ever bless the mic! Any of you punk bitches out there who disagree…go listen to Waka Floka Flamer Officer Ricky, then shoot yourself ear drums.

PS: Take your asses back to school, learn how to spell, and use proper punctuation!

      #RealEmcee #RapGod

      1. “i dont do black music..i dont do white music…i fight music for HIGH SCHOOL KIDS” -mmlp1

    277. eminem hires trolls to hate on him so he can say that people hate him in his music. if everyone loved him and gave him love he’d have nothing to rap about.

“em only makes pop music now”

      “em is washed up”

hes had pop singles since sslp!!

the dumbasses commenting on this site are either little ass kids or fking morons!

    280. I thought the beat kouldve been way better. However, Eminem brought it lyrically and style wise. The Hook sounds like he was listening to this low IQ rap and used they style against them. I kant wait to hear the rest of the album

    281. TTHIS THAT SHIT WE WHITE PEOPLE LOVE WHEN THE GUITAR PLAYER WHO STOLE THE BLUES RUNS OFF ON A RLY FAST GUITAR SOLO IM TALKIN THIS THAT DIMEBAG SHIT.

    282. It’s been awhile since Eminem released anything worthwhile. When I’m Gone was the last joint that had any substance.

      1. are you retarded? did you listen to recovery?

5 awards won for love the way you lie which is his best selling single ever

not afraid is a classic- 6 awards won.

        Seduction- madly underrated.

        stfu you fking fat troll

    283. THIS IS THE LYRICS FOR U ILLITERATE FUCKS

      [Hook 1]
I’m beginning to feel like a Rap God, Rap God
All my people from the front to the back nod, back nod
Now who thinks their arms are long enough to slapbox, slapbox?
They said I rap like a robot, so call me Rapbot

      [Verse 1]
But for me to rap like a computer must be in my genes
I got a laptop in my back pocket
My pen’ll go off when I half-cock it
Got a fat knot from that rap profit
Made a living and a killing off it
Ever since Bill Clinton was still in office
With Monica Lewinsky feeling on his nut-sack
I’m an MC still as honest
But as rude and as indecent as all hell
Syllables, killaholic (Kill ’em all with)
      This slickety, gibbedy, hibbedy hip-hop
You don’t really wanna get into a pissing match with this rappidy rap
Packing a Mac in the back of the Ac, backpack rap crap, yep, yep, yackity-yak
Now at the exact same time
I attempt these lyrical acrobat stunts while I’m practicing that
I’ll still be able to break a motherfuckin’ table
Over the back of a couple of faggots and crack it in half
Only realized it was ironic I was signed to Aftermath after the fact
How could I not blow? All I do is drop F-bombs, feel my wrath of attack
Rappers are having a rough time period, here’s a maxipad
It’s actually disastrously bad for the wack
While I’m masterfully constructing this masterpiece as

      [Hook 2]
I’m beginning to feel like a Rap God, Rap God
All my people from the front to the back nod, back nod
Now who thinks their arms are long enough to slapbox, slapbox?
Let me show you maintaining this shit ain’t that hard, that hard

      [Verse 2]
Everybody want the key and the secret to rap immortality like I have got
Well, to be truthful the blueprint’s simply rage and youthful exuberance
Everybody loves to root for a nuisance
Hit the earth like an asteroid, did nothing but shoot for the moon since
MC’s get taken to school with this music
Cause I use it as a vehicle to bust a rhyme
Now I lead a new school full of students
Me? I’m a product of Rakim, Lakim Shabazz, 2Pac N-
-W.A, Cube, Hey Doc, Ren, Yella, Eazy, thank you, they got Slim
Inspired enough to one day grow up, blow up and be in a position
To meet Run DMC, induct them, into the motherfuckin’ Rock n’
      Roll Hall of Fame
Even though I walk in the church and burst in a ball of flames
Only Hall of Fame I be inducted in is the alcohol of fame
      On the wall of shame
You fags think it’s all a game ’til I walk a flock of flames
Off a plank, and tell me what in the fuck are you thinking?
      Little gay looking boy
So gay I can barely say it with a straight face looking boy (haha!)
      You witnessing a massacre
Like you watching a church gathering take place looking boy
Oy vey, that boy’s gay, that’s all they say looking boy
You get a thumbs up, pat on the back
And a way to go from your label everyday looking boy
Hey, looking boy, what you say looking boy?
I get a “hell yeah” from Dre looking boy
I’mma work for everything I have
Never ask nobody for shit, get outta my face looking boy
Basically boy you’re never gonna be capable
To keeping up with the same pace looking boy

      [Hook 3]
I’m beginning to feel like a Rap God, Rap God
All my people from the front to the back nod, back nod
The way I’m racing around the track, call me Nascar, Nascar
Dale Earnhardt of the trailer park, the White Trash God
Kneel before General Zod this planet’s Krypton, no Asgard, Asgard

      [Verse 3]
So you be Thor and I’ll be Odin, you rodent, I’m omnipotent
Let off then I’m reloading immediately with these bombs I’m totin’
And I should not be woken
I’m the walking dead, but I’m just a talking head, a zombie floating
But I got your mom deep throating
I’m out my ramen noodle, we have nothing in common, poodle
I’m a doberman, pinch yourself in the arm and pay homage, pupil
      It’s me, my honesty’s brutal
But it’s honestly futile if I don’t utilize what I do though
For good at least once in a while
So I wanna make sure somewhere in this chicken scratch I scribble and doodle
Enough rhymes to maybe try to help get some people through tough times
But I gotta keep a few punchlines just in case cause even you unsigned
Rappers are hungry looking at me like it’s lunchtime
I know there was a time where once I
Was king of the underground, but I still rap like I’m on my Pharoahe Monch grind
So I crunch rhymes, but sometimes when you combine
Appeal with the skin color of mine
You get too big and here they come trying to censor you
Like that one line I said on “I’m Back” from the Mathers LP1
Where I tried to say I take seven kids from Columbine
Put ’em all in a line, add an AK-47, a revolver and a nine
See if I get away with it now that I ain’t as big as I was
But I’ve morphed into an immortal coming through the portal
You’re stuck in a timewarp from 2004 though
And I don’t know what the fuck that you rhyme for
You’re pointless as Rapunzel with fucking cornrows
You’re like normal, fuck being normal
And I just bought a new Raygun from the future
To just come and shoot ya like when Fabolous made Ray J mad
Cause Fab said he looked like a fag at Mayweathers pad
Singin’ to a man while they played piano
Man, oh man, that was a 24/7 special on the cable channel
So Ray J went straight to the radio station the very next day
      ”Hey, Fab, I’mma kill you”
Lyrics coming at you at supersonic speed, (JJ Fad)
Uh, sama lamaa duma lamaa you assuming I’m a human
What I gotta do to get it through to you I’m superhuman
Innovative and I’m made of rubber
So that anything you say is ricocheting off of me and it’ll glue to you
I’m devastating, more than ever demonstrating
How to give a motherfuckin’ audience a feeling like it’s levitating
Never fading, and I know the haters are forever waiting
For the day that they can say I fell off, they’d be celebrating
Cause I know the way to get ’em motivated
I make elevating music, you make elevator music
      Oh, he’s too mainstream
Well, that’s what they do when they get jealous, they confuse it
It’s not hip hop, it’s pop, cause I found a hella way to fuse it
With rock, shock rap with Doc
Throw on Lose Yourself and make ’em lose it
I don’t know how to make songs like that
I don’t know what words to use
Let me know when it occurs to you
While Im ripping any one of these verses, that versus you
Its curtains, Im inadvertently hurtin’ you
How many verses I gotta murder to prove
That if you were half as nice at songs, you can sacrifice virgins too (ughhh)
      School flunkie, pill junky
But look at the accolades the skills brung me
Full of myself, but still hungry
I bully myself cause I make me do what I put my mind to
And I’m a million leagues above you, ill when I speak in tongues
But it’s still tongue in cheek, fuck you
I’m drunk so Satan take the fucking wheel, I’m asleep in the front seat
Bumping Heavy D and the Boys, still chunky, but funky
But in my head there’s something I can feel tugging and struggling
Angels fight with devils and here’s what they want from me
They’re asking me to eliminate some of the women hate
But if you take into consideration the bitter hatred I had
Then you may be a little patient and more sympathetic to the situation
      And understand the discrimination
But fuck it, life’s handing you lemons, make lemonade then
But if I can’t batter the women how the fuck am I supposed to bake them a cake then?
      Don’t mistake it for Satan
It’s a fatal mistake if you think I need to be overseas
And take a vacation to trip abroad
And make her fall on her face and don’t be a retard
Be a king? Think not – why be a king when you can be a God?

    284. I just laugh my ass off at the haters in the comments I don’t see other audio tracks with as many plays as this on the list… Seems like people are proving them wrong. Em keep it up, got your sanity back.

    285. Fuck the bullshit y’all talking that nigga Em sick! That shit just went in. Good to see one of the legends still going in sometime, Em need to call 3 stacks up and get his fuckin head back into it.

    286. foreal tho, why is this record still on the main page on DX, like foreal, the song is not legendary. am i missin somethin? he aint say nothing the whole time. Jada is on tha next shit, Yela wolf is ont ha next shit, Joey Bad Ass on tha nex shit, Ross is on tha next Shit,

      1. You just jelly because theres not one n!gger that has topped him. Mention Big L or something and ill slap your dumbass.

      2. Yes you’re missing something…..actually a lot. Consider this, Kendrick said he was KING of one city and the whole world lost its mind and everybody came out with responses trying to put him in his place, Em says he’s GOD and no one challenges him….hip hop artists understand how technically insane this song is as well as the fact that it’s crazy lyrical if you really listen to it and get past the occasional tangent.

      3. might be technical but its mediocre as shit. there’s plenty better rappers out that make better quality music than this. I honestly don’t give a damn how good the flow is, if the song is blah blah blah. I’m done talking about this song, hopefully you guys will be too.

      4. Ross is on that next shit? lmao….. Huge fan of Jada but his new shit is lacking….Yelawolf.. bahaha please… And Joey badass is aiiii ght.. just aightttt

    287. There is a such thing as trying too hard…I mean, obviously he’s stupid nice, that’s never gonna be a question, but all these special effects and shit..it’s just overdone. The rhymes are ill, it just doesn’t SOUND good. Oh, and the beat is straight up whack.

    288. this is decent at best the beat and hook sucked and a lot of the rhymes were forced Eminem used to be great now he’s nothing special anyone who disagrees is just dick riding

    289. WTH? Anyone hating on Rap God doesn’t know shit about rap or hip-hop. This is one of his best tracks; the lyrics are amazing, his flow is unbelievable and the beat is pretty cool. Tastless haters go listen to Lil’ Payne in the ass and Drake. The two men that are ruining hip-hop and bringing down the legacy that Em, Pac and Biggie helped build.

    290. Like this single by Eminem. Just responding to Kendrick and asking for his peers to step it up. Lol great song.

      1. the whole infinite album, the whole slim shady ep, hell hound, devil inside, im crazy, flawless victory, only fair to warn freestyle, when hell freezes over, hazardous youth, nothin to do, off the wall, the original version of renegade wit royce da 59

      2. all the benzino disses and vanilla ice disses (nail in the coffen, hail mary, monkey see monkey do, bully, and many more)

    291. alot people are faggots. just complain complain. yo we dont even have to speak on the flow(s) that was used on this track. the content is just that he raps better than alot of people. his influence on the new rappers and the people that influenced him. also his accomplishments he has made as a rapper. thats the content. even rakim, no disrespect to the god, mainly raps about…. how good he can rap. stop hatin faggots. eminem went in

    292. Much better than Monster (which was terrible), Berserk (which was an okay hype song) and Survival (which also sucked). So far 1/4. Let’s hope he kept the best for the rest of the album because this is too dope. 5/5

      1. Its not, hip hop its pop cuz i found a , hella way to fuse it
with rock, shock rap wit doc throw on lose ya, self and make em lose it

    293. Beat is trash, hook is trash, lyrics are good. Idk who produced this beat but i hate it haha if youre gona have a 6 min song make sure the beat is fire and doesnt get annoying at minute 3

      1. Just as an FYI…..when you want to use a variety of different flows you typically need to go to a “weaker” beat (by that I mean fewer instruments and usually less going on) the more complicated a beat the more you compete with it…..this isn’t always the case… for example the beat for Forever doesn’t have a lot actually going on, but the louder snares and bass punches make the beat seem harder than it really is. I would guarantee the beat choice was very purposeful……trying to draw focus to the words

    294. Wow anyone who thinks he didn’t completely kill it just doesn’t understand His flow and metaphors i guess

    295. Tupac was against having the government raise the kids. He said this. When he was growing up he was basically indoctrinated into Communism. Communism/Marxism is all about having the government raise the kids. The media, and the government schools essentially do “raise the kids.” I think that Tupac realized this later. That might be why he was killed. He was killed as a public spectacle like Kennedy. This has happened to other famous people who started opposing the power structure. I think that he realized how brainwashed he, and other people have been. Unfortunately, using the name “Illuminati” for a system that can be shown to exist simply associates valid research with wild conspiracy theories. This marginalizes any information which might make people start thinking. Thinking about the high-level control structure is the last thing that the elite who manipulate, and use the media, and the state want. Any form of state collectivism can benefit the controlling elite.

    296. Peace to all the lefthanded geniuses 40 and up, no matter what color you happen to Be. This is the dopest lyrical display of 2013…taking nothing away from K.Dot…good shit.

    297. Here are some of the the corniest Eminem punch lines:

**** the world feed it beans, gased up if it thinks its stopin’ me

“lift the whole liquor counter up cause I’m raising the bar”

Why would I buy you a gay ass teddy bear **** you’re already bipolar

Tryna give me the fingers kinda like giving a spider the web
Im just gonna spin it and use it to my advantage
I catch a fly in that **** you think you fly you just food

“I guess that’s why they call it window pane”

“suck my d*** on the couch if u wanna cushion the blow”

Like a “f*ck you” for Christmas, his gift is a curse”

“quit playin’ with the scissors and shit, and cut the crap”

“You can get the dick, just call me the ballsac, I’m nuts”

Making yourself like a song just because you like an Artist is retarded. So far all the songs that leaked are simply terrible. There is no way I can fuck with this album. Should have called it something else because it hurts to have this relating to the first album. This further proves that Jay is GOAT but half that MCHG was lyrically corny. Tom Ford…GTFO. Nas needs to make a comeback

      Eminem fell the fuck off.

      1. Dude. Your comment is not only brilliant but 100% honest. Half of these sheeple out here will overate anything a fan favorite artist they like just because of the name of the artist. Look, I personally love eminem’s music but this whole album, seriously is NOT fucking with MMLP AT ANY LEVEL SHAPE OR FORM. Kudos to the honest people out there and to the sheep, I got some cherry flavored Kool Aid for ya!

      2. half these are fillers holy grail was bullshit and that window pane line is bullshit. but gotta take ems stuff now at face value because he’s at a different place so as an artist his material isn’t going to have as much substance any ways I’m baked pease

      3. The thing about Eminem is that he executes the ‘corny bars’, as you would label them, pretty well. Jay’s the GOAT? Ok… The fact that you mostly quoted Recovery lines is stupid as well, due to it being more commercially based and, in a sense, more of a filler as the person above stated.

      4. Explain how the fuck he fell off .dude gives u more rhymes then anyone and cus some of them are so called corny to u means that he fell off..hell the sequel was insane he killed that ..he destroyed the cypher with slaughterhouse..and MMLP2 actually turned out great . Notice how almost all those lines are from one album recovery which is loved by some and corny to others…people seem to forget he’s over 40 still rapping better then 99 percent of MCs out

      5. MMLP2 has some weaker moments, and it does seem like Em was trying to kind of go in two different directions simultaneously which detracts from the overall effectiveness of the album, but I think the main reason MMLP2 is drawing so much negative feedback is that NOTHING will ever have the FEEL of MMLP…..it had shock and awe factor that will likely never be matched, Em could have spent the entire album calling out the Biebers and Lady Gagas (which he alludes to) but even if he did that, people wouldn’t f*** with it the way they did MMLP. In more ways than one, this album is an album directed at hip hop fans who have an appreciation for hip hops history…..hip hop didn’t used to take itself so serious (which is the direction the Rubin songs seem to take)…..but this is also an album that hip hop artists will appreciate more than anyone else. This album is technically ridiculous, from the flows on Rap God, to the use of a single rhyme scheme on Legacy, even little things like the Yoda rap on Rhyme and reason…..there are things done on this album very few if any MCs would be able to accomplish, not to mention the unmatched level of rhyme (Em never just matches the ending words of the lines, there is always insane amounts of internal rhyme)

As for his “corny lines” you picked out 9 bars from an artist that has 7 full solo albums and uses less features than almost any other artist…..think of the total number of bars on those albums…..easily a few thousand (48 bars per song (which for em is probably a low estimate) * 15 songs per album * 7 albums = 5040 bars (rough estimate)) that’s pretty damn good…..not to mention a lot of relatively big name rappers couldn’t match those bars if their lives depended on it.

      6. @BEN DOVER, instead of trying to insult the rap god, maybe you should go read the dictionary and learn how to spell words correctly, dummy!

      7. Like all those lines are not even that corny and better than most artists… also they are pretty much all from 2010 and beyond… we already knew Recovery wasnt as good as his other stuff you fucking moron, you arent saying shit new fuck stick

    298. i havent allways listened to eminem until about a year ago and i have allways wanted to meet him but we never have any money and we r about to have to sell our trailer and i wanted to meet him but yea

    299. Wow gotta hear a couple of times to catch all the rhymes and metaphors .Album is pretty amazing too well done Em

    300. 50 cent trying to put hits on wiz with 50 cents flight 187 vid dissing this plane vid. with jay z in vid shakeing hes head yea. say yea

      1. hes definitley not the artist of the year Kendrick maybe but i havent heard any thing from slim til of late and the years almost over are you serious get out of here

    301. Not bad.. But sounds more like Evil without Bad…If you know what I mean. If it is really a sequel to the MMLP why not reuse your old flow to keep consistency?
      @vinnyv3ndetta

      1. why would he “reuse” a flow when he can change it up masterfully.. If he kept on putting out albums of the same shit it would get boring eventually.

It’s not like he lost the ability to sound like his old self either, there are glimpses of it in the album.

    302. I swear im not another one of those “shake that ass girl” or “swag” rappers.. I hate to be the dude that comments shit like “Im a upcoming rapper and it would mean the world if you checked out my song” .. but fuck it.. if any of you guys are bored and got a minute of your time to listen to a song of mine, id appreciate it.. youtube.com/watch?v=b3TYBdDrysY

    303. great mic skills. but this trap melodramatic opera shit has to stop. bee-yo bee-yo beep beep ticka ticka ticka. but pop is pop, no matter how fly your lyrics are.

    304. Em is the best emcee period. The way he flawlessly switches cadences and voice tones plus all the rhyme schemes and all his inside rhyme patterns inside of other patterns and then how he rhymes with the intensity of the track as it changes. And the whole time just talking shit letting all other rappers know that they simply have no hope is dope.

Skill wise and technical ability plus his breath Control is just amazing. He will make minced meat of your favorite rapper and that includes all of them, dead or alive. Em is at heart and in his purest form a battle emcee so when he makes songs it sounds like he’s attacking at all times and from there is where that passion, aggression, and intensity that we all love from him come from.

I guess that puts the nail in the coffin on the whole ” battle rappers can’t make songs” crap that some chumps talk about. When the GOAT is a battle emcee.

      1. Finally someone who actually gets it! Got tired of these bragging Eminem haters who have 2 Chainz and Childish Gambino in their iPods!

However I do not fully agree on him being THE best emcee although he is my favourite. One of the best yes! But You got a good handful of underground rappers who are able to knock it head to head with Em when it comes to lyricism! Take Mac Lethal, P.O.S., Esoteric and Tech N9ne for instance! And I think Eyedea (R.I.P.) was kind of a bit on a slightly higher notch!

    305. rappidy rap rapp yapp yapp yapp. Yeah mad technicality but no substance. If you read these lyrics you’ll be bored as hell…

      1. he’s actually paying homeage to all the greats as he cements his status as one of the all time greats. He references so many rappers. Even pharoah monch who is not very well known by mainstream audiences.

    306. Aye mane, Eminem is killin these niggas mane, I’m tellin you mane, everyone else don’t even rap anymore!!! EMINEM IS KILLEN EM!!!

    307. Some people were saying the beat was whack…. but this is honestly the perfect beat, sandbox style, where eminem can change flow and rap his ass off no matter what. He actually heard this beat first and thats when the idea came to him. He said he wasn’t even counting bars he just started writing and rapping. watch the interview where he talks about this… it’s pretty amazing.

      1. Weakest 808 i have ever heard. Should have asked mike will for some help with the sonics of the beat. Dont even get me started on the snare,so boring and lifeless. If you are gonna use trap elements, atleast do it properly. Atrocious lame excuse wannabe trap producer.
