    1. Here’s what’s crazy about this response. Budden shouted out the the rappers that many of us came up on and are vets. Now let’s see who gives that respect.

      1. For real, just too deep for other rappers to contend with. He takes his raps to another level people didn’t think of touching on

    2. Most of these responses are only playing into KL’s favor. They are all taking the same beat, coming in the same way, and never even changing up how they are rhyming.

KL was calling out people for lacking creativity….and all the dunces are responding in the most predictable manner.

Name dropping and speaking of others accomplishments does not display talent but verifies lack of creativity.

I like how he was extra careful to clarify that all his Wu references were not disses lol

      1. Earth to Billboards It was Big Sean song. So if anything its playing into favor of Big Sean and the beat producer No.ID

That lack of creativity excuse dont work on joey. Maybe papoose but not Budden. Listen to Mood Muzik mixtapes. My god so many young bucks on this site it isnt funny.

      2. KL said something, people responded, no one cares about the production credits.

Budden is not creative he is a failed solo artist who had to join a group backed by Em before people gave him a little respect. KL has big names behind him but difference is he is a successful solo artist putting others on.

KL = a bread winner making moves
Budden = a scavenger satisfied getting sloppy seconds

      3. Please, Joe been known, this dude been in the game for a long time, having dissed people who are actually sorta legends, Kendrick disses these wack new rappers like Tyler the creator and sh*t, like wtf? Kendrick isn’t doing sh*t for real hiphop, he’s a radio rapper, real close to Drake. Makin’ catchy rap songs, with pretty decent lyrics. But Drake murdered Kendrick on F*ckin’ Problem and Poetic Justice. Kendrick has decent delivery and people act like he’s lyrical, f*ck outta here.

      4. Billboards you’re retarded as fuck! You don’t even know the facts of how Slaughterhouse got started… They were around long before Em was backing them. The only reason he didn’t back them sooner is because him and Royce was still beefin…

      5. Now we give props to average guys for dissing “sorta legends”? He has been scavenging off the game for a long time ill give you that.

Slaughterhouse before Em, fan base = you
Slaughterhouse after Em, fan base = multi national

You think they are in this group for the love of hip hop? It’s pure business and they aren’t stupid it’s better to split 75% four ways then take 100% of zero, Em gets his 25% off the top.

    3. joell ortiz
      lupe fiasco
      cassidy
      joe budden

      they all responded pretty well

kendrick started somethin he cannot give up now. he better comes harder the next round to keep it legit

    4. JOE YOUR REAL HIP HOP you understood what Kendrick Tried to do and for that I respect you…
I’m not a KL fan but dude got bars but the same thing he cried in his verse is what all these rappers is saying drop the money and the fame and hit the streets and do some real Smack URL battles prove your worth like the greats did I e never heard of KL before swimming pools…
Much love to all the rappers that took offense to him saying he top 5 best rappers…

    5. This was cool its up there as a good response not great. However, he did raise the bar somewhat. I expect nothing less from a member of slaughterhouse. Im actually waiting for responses from the heavy hitters in SH (Crooked I and Royce) Not a Budden fan AT ALL. He goes into the same category as Papoose Nice lyrics every once in awhile but his delivery is terrible! Budden has never caught my attention on a song.

      1. Budden is definitely not one of my fav emcees either. He’s super talented lyrically, but I agree his flow annoys me a lot, not here though–it was quite exceptional here.

      2. Actually the best flow Joe Budden had was on Furiously Dangerous. Was Ludacris ft Slaughterhouse. Joe’s flow was better than Crooked and Royce’s, it was a genius flow. He has tracks with good flow always though, just a normal flow, nothin’ wrong with that though. Also great verse.

    6. If You Were Called Out!!!….We still waiting for your response specially Pusha T And Drake.
      To Those Who Respond
#1 Goes To The First Responder Yaowa!(Real Bars & Good Timing)
#2 Papoose(Diss)(Hip-hop don’t have rules)I’m Sure Kendrick Was not expecting a light respond on that “I’M THE KING OF NY line”
#3 Cassidy (You Sleeping On Him Lil too much)
#4 Lupe Fiasco (Cleaver Not To Use The Same Beat)
#5 Joe Budden (Hard Bars But Considering the clip and the time
he took to write? should have done better)

      1. Please, have you seen how long it took him to write it? He spit a lot of bars, and he made a video before anyone even responded that he wasn’t gonna respond, and that the only reason he would want to respond is ’cause he thought those guys would be pussy enough to respond, aka the people he called out, and he was right. Noone he called out responded. So there’s a good chance that it took him a day to write and record that shit, and in a day I don’t mean 24 hours.

This obviously is about Joe Budden.

    7. 1/2 of Slaughterhouse replied and have the best replies! This is why they ARE Hip-Hop! Nothing but BARS BARS BARS

    8. This is by far the BEST response. He stayed in of what the point was. Budden didn’t get personal (b/c it wasn’t)…it’s about spittin’ bars…and that’s what he came with. THIS IS GOOD FOR Hip Hop.

The rest of that bullshit (Papoose mainly) was fucking garbage.

    9. Hip hop is alive again! Thank you Kendrick for bringing the real spitters into the lime lite. Joell and budden just put in work. It’s a shame that people’s IQ are not high enough to follow there lyrics and catch the metaphors, similes, and talent. Wake up people. Slaughterhouse.

    10. Joell Ortiz was better. and since he’s from New York I can understand why he responded. Buddens is from Jersey, he’s just a bum ass nigga looking for attention. Weakest member out the Slaughterhouse.

      1. Callin’ him the weakest member doesn’t mean shit when it’s Joell Ortiz, Royce da 5’9 and Crooked I lol. Joe was born in NY, so that’s why, and even if he wasn’t he can respond whenever the fuck he feels like it, he doesn’t need your bitch ass approval.

    11. I really want to be a fan of Budden, but this shit is boring as hell. He’s too monotone. I damn near fell asleep listenin to this.

      1. monotone? if your comparing ANYTHING by “monotone flow” GKMC is naptime music. try listening to that cd on a f**
king roadtrip, youll end up in a ravine

    12. I like this a lot, but I wish Joey would have responded earlier. Still, Ortiz and Budden killed Kdot. It only makes sense, they are some of the best lyricists in the game.

    13. Best response so far along with Joell Ortiz. Slaughterhouse BABAYYYYYYY!

Los’ response was dope but he was too polite…

    14. These bars are dope. That said, I don’t think this is the way to respond. Even if he used a bit of slight of hand, budden’s albums are (while fun to listen to because of the clever bars) not that great. He needs to put out a classic album, then he can say shit. I think that goes to all of these people. That said, I’m enjoying listening to all of these (even if they are all a bit silly).

    15. So far, Slaughterhouse had the best responses (followed closely by Papoose and Cassidy). Hopefully the Slaughter album sounds raw like this. This production fits SH well.

    16. MEEK said if you diss him that he would kill you. If Joe Buddens doesn’t die than Im never gonna start believing Meek

    17. sometimes certians things u cant see start writeing 666 on your walls and demon codes when you got your back turn in your house. codes will go away come back.sometimes u do see them.but if alians are by your house that could be a problem

    18. BORING. Him and Cassidy need to learn that less is more.. don’t nobody wanna hear rapping for 5 min straight, only a few can do that. What was the point of this? He didn’t REALLY go at Kendrick, he says he wasn’t mad, then throws light shots at him then disses Jay Elect for no reason and a bunch of other dudes. Shit was mad unfocused..

All these dudes that have NO CLASSIC ALBUMS are responding. Worse, Buddens is an older dude who wasn’t even mentioned.

      1. Classic albums huh. Good Kid Madd City was mediocre and Section 80 was better. Yet, all these idiots claim GKMC is classic….yeah right.

    19. wack.some of the lines were good but if your gonna hype up your song this much by dropping the artwork for it like a week before you drop the song.acting as if your gonna destroy him and than not even dissing him.wack shit man

    20. .put some mother bitches on floor little while ago. seen leather face eat a bitcher.had the bitchers hand hanging out of leather facess ass while he ran chaseing more ppl. hand was waveing and throw demon 666s as mothers.

    21. “We talking bars niggas better get help/
the put they guts all on the track still dont ever get felt/
a lot of lower tier rappers trying to rap for they belt/
nigga There’s Levels to this shit dog you said it your self/.

LOL, That was a Clever hit at Cassidy.

Joey is dope, Him and Lupe have the best ones IMO.

    22. WHAT DONT THESE INCOMPETENT MUFKAS UNDERSTAND THAT KENDRICK GAVE ALL THE LEGENDS RESPECT FIRST AND FORMOST?! AHHHHHHHHHHHH WTF!

    23. 1/2 of Slaughterhouse down, 1/2 to go!!

And what if Loaded Lux had a response for some reason? (to those who know about him)

    24. I luv the shout out to Stack Bundles squad up. For all you that don’t have a clue of who Joey was talking about fall back an move on because you don’t know what real hip hop is. Trust its not that radio $hit.

    25. That’s not the point K dot could of diss anybody he wanted who the hell cares. But The second he said he was king of NY he hung himself.

    26. I LOVE SLAUGHTERHOUSE AND I”M A JOE BUDDEN FAN…
      BUT THIS SHIT IS WEAK.
      SUPER WEAK.
      NON CONTENTIOUS BULLSHIT.

      1. I saw this type of comment on a Justin Bieber video once when I was trash talkin’ ’em. And this guy said “I never liked Justin Bieber but now I’m a fan”. Clearly he was already a fan and just says he wasn’t a fan before to make it sound better. So compareable with you sayin’ “I love slaughterhouse and I’m a Joe Budden fan” and then say this shit is weak, is a true hater comment from a non fan. ‘Cause even people that aren’t fans of Joe Budden know this shit is fuckin’ amazing. So fans would never in their live call this weak. Considering it’s not.

    27. JOEY!!! Nuts

The man says more in one bar, than more of these idiots say in a full verse.

      CONTENT, LYRICS AND INSANITY.

    28. this is that grown man lyrical shit right here, not that bullshit papoose shit. he spit battle worthy bars, it was witty, creative, did not get emotional or on some personal beef shit like pap. it was strictly sport. strictly competition. this is joey skill set he been doin this so im not surprised by this.
i love how everybody talkin this is what hiphop needs, kendrick already dropped a classic album and we just had a great summer of music while big sean and drake is on deck. hiphop aint been that bad for me. niggas love these responses cuz it feels like some fake beef shit, but when these rappers release the other songs without this name callin fake beef element niggas wont care. this kinda hiphop hasnt been missin, niggas just didnt care about it cuz it was no name callin fake beef involved.

    29. Kendrick Died on the cross for all of hip hop sins. He really sacrificed his life for the good of rap, this is the 16th time he died this week. Lets all have a moment of silence…

      1. where are these good joe budden albums? i havent heard a good joe budden album so far. section 80 and good kid m.a.a.d. city contain more dope songs then buddens discography. and im old school fan. of gangstarr nas jayz etc. heard it all. kendrick wanted to make himself the center of attention and it worked.

      2. dope songs? what has kendrick lamar said and done on that album that hasnt been done before ? ill wait ..Mood Muzik 4>>>section80 . His mixtape game is better than your album.

      3. How can you say that bruh? Joe Budden taps into issues these other rappers are afraid to discus. K-dot is dope but he can learn a few things.

    30. Royce co-sign Kendrick but joell and and buddens killed him ahah whats next?

    31. “I know he love philly but im leaving him with black thoughts”-KENDRICK CAN NOT FUCK WITH BT and that’s the last mc he would want involved with this.

    33. Joe budden fans:
the most die hard fans out there. make him sound like hes up there in top 5 all time

guy is average, got bars but nothing special pipe down
you should all buy 20 albums each so he might actually sell

      1. not always about sales numnuts..look at great rappers who don’t sell like Cormega or other independent artists..if he didn’t have a buzz or was respected he wouldn’t still be around he’d be like papose

      2. average???? do you understand english? Name me 3 rappers that can come harder than this. Joe got bars FOR DAYS. If you dont like him as a person i can understand this. but please dont downplay this like he aint just murk this beat

      3. Kendrick Lamar goes harder than this
you epitomize what i meant when i said joe budden fans lol

i agree its not about sales but damn my nigga went platinum in todays industry without making some weak song with RnB hook. pure rapping genius

Rigamortis shows great technical skill something that Joe Budden doesnt have

please come at me more joe budden fans you are hilarious

      4. ”Rigamortis shows great technical skill something that Joe Budden doesnt have”

        LMAO

Nigga name 5 hot bars from Rigamortis . You aint even keep it real with yourself. oH Yeah a rapper going platinum in the era of chief keef and Trinidad James *claps* *claps*

      5. lol here we go again about bars. Rigamortis as a whole song is a good song. you mad because it doesnt have any one liners? budden took 3 days to come up with these weak bars.

TECHNICALITY aint about bars u dumb ass. Once again budden is just another average joe that can put together a song with some good lines. can’t make a good album

If you really want to compare the substance of bars between the two then i suggest you listen to all of kendricks stuff. i can’t really judge too well because buddens albums bore me with the same shit flow and rapping about alot of nothing

kendricks rapped about politics, religion, racism, etc everything.

      6. I agree with you about Joe Buddens, but Kendrick isn’t good either. Rigamortis is a song about nothing…The lines mean nothing, he’s just saying a bunch of random stuff to sound “deep”. Kendrick Lamar is good with word play, but he’s a pseudo-intellectual rapper. He says complicated sounding things, to come across as smart, to dumb people. Just check the lyrics to that song out on Rap Genius. It’s like they’re going above and beyond, over analyzing his wack rhymes to make him sound like he’s saying something, when the lines themselves are very simple. I’m just not impressed

      7. fair enough that song is abstract but i do believe kendrick is skilled and lyrically if you listen to other deeper songs which he has. Joe budden is just a nobody. you budden stans cant even attack me for calling him a nobody saying’hes not trying to be anybody’ guy is so desperate to be recognised.

may i ask who you enjoy listening to not impressed

      8. Ok dude, you just sound like a hater. Kendrick isn’t lyrical, he got murdered by Drake for fuck sakes, he has never did a track with a legend where he either went bar for bar or killed the guy. Kendrick isn’t even the best of these new artists out, so no way in hell is he gonna outrap Joe Budden or anyone from Slaughterhouse. But since you so focused on wanting songs, go listen to Joe Budden’s mixtape A Loose Quarter. It’s free so you can easily download it, and then listen to every song except for the Emanny tracks. Joe Budden is a beast, even though the Slaughterhouse album wasn’t good, his Goodbye verse was genius. And if you’re still not impressed then you gotta listen to Joe Budden’s Truth or Truth verse. Joe Budden’s verse on that track is one of the best things I’ve heard in a long time, and this comes from a huge Eminem fan.

    34. Bars were dope but delivery was shit. This nigga has no personality in his flow, never switches up his scheme. Where the fuck his drops at? Joell had drops every 4 bars LOL

Somebody tell this nigga stop reading off paper when he raps.

    35. like how he shouted out to inspectah deck… probably cause joe knows deck destroyed him on that diss but props to budden nice come back

    36. how much attention nas got because of this kl and the response situation? every second rapper that responded (and kl included) rightfully is mentioning him as one of the greats!!

    37. Wait… how did Joey show he who was the King of New York??? He’s From JERSEY For Pete’s sake!!! & This freestyle compared to Joell’s response .. is straight doo-doo! Joell still has the best response. & All these unknown/currently NOT hot rappers responding.. Is rapping like they on Freestyle Friday trying to get signed like Jin lmao

    38. Never was a Joe Buddens fan. I look at him the same way I look at J Cole. He’s a mediocre, average, rapper with an added, annoying ass lisp. This is probably one of the worst responses..But Kendrick stans will appreciate it because he wasn’t too harsh with their nerdy little idol. I’m not impressed

    39. My AdHd kicked in after I heard him say barz for the 3rd time. Joell went in hard on his response but Cassidy went in way harder. Papoose did a lil something but Cassidy had the most rememerable flow that murdered the beat.

    40. “I state facts, not to say it’s wack but check the playback
Outrhyming A$AP ain’t showing me where your weight at”

Joey brought this shit to an end.

      1. A good portion of the NYC metro area is in Jersey. Budden is from Jersey City which is just across the Hudson river from Manhattan. People who live there are considered New Yorkers.

    41. Ok these have been good response but none of the guys who were called out are not replying. -___- Smh that’s sad.

      1. Respond?? Drake > Kendrick on P.J and Kendrick is supposed to be the poet. J.Cole probably can’t hang and that goes for the rest of everyone else.

    42. Joe Budden has a crush on Jay Electronica. This is his second time dissing him. I mean hes acting like a damn groupie. Deep down he know he cant out rap Jay. He just want to amp him up so he can release his long over due album that everybody’s waiting for. Joe Budden is acting like a stan and its scray. And why did he diss Joey Badass? That wasnt even a clever line. We all know your name is ”Joey”. Sound like he was reaching for a punchline. I know because I am a writer and I know how rappers force schemes/simlies and metaphors. Its really childish. Your responding to Kendrick but your dissing people in the process that had nothing to do with this. Thats why Joe gets what he deserves when he gets punched in the face by other artist. Im starting not to support this man. And him being on that god awful Love And Hip Hop put the nail in the coffin in what ever dignity he has or had in his career. It gained him alot twitter followers groupie hoes but hes losing his core fans. In conclusion this diss sucked to me and I dont respect it.

      1. Yo, I’ll keep this short and sweet. Being a writer myself I’m highly questioning whether you should be writing at all as a career move being you don’t seem to have a good grasp on it. That Joey the bada$$ was a Bada$$ line. In conclusion, “When it comes to bars a lot of Ya’ll should shut the fuck up.”

      2. Just because it made sense in a rap doesn’t mean its a ”good line”. It was forced. Also as a fan of Joe Budden his character (an asshole) He doesn’t care who he hurts in the process as long it comes together in a rap. Remember that line he said about Juelz Santana? Hes lucky ELz dont care. He probably never even herd of the freestyle. The Saigon beef is another example. Joe is good he got bars. And when you got bars your ideas are infinite. He could of came up with different or better angles trust me. Joe Sacrifices and burns bridges with artist just to make a ”hot line”. That is not smart and I dont respect that. I actually wouldnt mind hearing Joey Badass on a track with Joe ,But now that he said this I know its never going to happen. Maybe couple years from now. If you like the line thats fine. Its your opinion im not going to beat you up for it.

      3. I’m not sure if this is a desperate troll attempt or if you’re just a sour person. Who cares if it was a good line or not because there are plenty of flawless jewels in this one. I just think he was making a point on a track where people are calling each other out. Saigon was being a cry baby over his line almost as much as you are. Joe Budden said he would have done the same thing as him, why is this still being brought up? Joe Budden murdered the whole game with this verse, don’t hate it, celebrate it

      4. First and foremost im a joe Budden fan. So were on the same team lol. Cry babies wine and complain. Im speaking facts. I must of struck a nerve. Do I have to be a stan and agree with everything an artist does? Moving on.

      5. This is the sickest response to Kendrick’s verse. Joey’s lines cut deep as fuck and his bars are heavy.

You just seem to be whining. Peep the bars, internal rhymes and wordplay. You must be a terrible writer to not recognize the genius of the song.

“This a scrimmage to me, all these blemished MC’s
Infamously it’s about image I see
But if it’s bars, not about bread, to hell with the wealth
Put you inside of the bullet, just to see a shell of yourself”

    43. this nigga got bars forever and this shouldnt be called a “response” because everyone know this guy and everybody else who “responded” so far can rap. The real “responses” should come from people who not known to be lyricists.

    44. props to budden, true lyricist. been a fan for years. but lately hes been picking and choosing his battles. on twitter last week when he and Styles P had words about calling out New York MC’s and backed down, but a week later making a response. all im saying is i would have loved to hear Joe to respond correctly to Styles, and handle his own, before jumping on the bandwagon to support Ortiz…. especially when he reps NJ. love styles work swell, one of my fave’s, would be a great battle.

    45. I just read some idiot say Kendrick never out rapped a legend, like he never heard him kill Jay-Z on “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe Remix”

Y’all saying Drake out rapped him, well but an asterisk on those songs cuz both of them were songs about bitches and that’s Drake’s forte.

When it comes to straight spitting, or freestyle battle type rhymes nobody is really fkn with Kendrick on a mainstream level.

    46. Big Sean had the best flow on this beat. Kendrick made a STATEMENT on this beat. Ortiz ripped it. Papoose was mean and trying too hard. Los had dope rhymes but was nice and too polite…

Budden had the best content and made the most valid points.

    47. All these responses are boring And they all have something in common with each other, they ain’t selling records and they weren’t even mentioned by Kendrick. Kdot ain’t the greatest but he got everyone shook and he just laughing because everyone is doing what he wanted and that’s blow his name up… And I’d spit on biggies grave any day, he ain’t the king of NY. Give it to Nas, or shit give it to 2pac

    48. SLAUGHTERHOUSE – THE WARRIORS

      SLAUGHTERHOUSE – WOODSTOCK HOOD HOP

      SLAUGHTERHOUSE – THE ILLEST

      SLAUGHTERHOUSE – FIGHT CLUB

      SLAUGHTERHOUSE – ONSLAUGHT

    49. SLAUGHTERHOUSE – WE OUTTA HERE

SLAUGHTERHOUSE – NOBODY FUCKING WITH US

SLAUGHTERHOUSE – Beamer, Benz, or Bentley (ShadyMegaMix)

THE SECOND ALBUM HAS NO HITS EMINEM DONT KNOW WHAT HE DOING

    50. People talk bad about slaughterhouse’s Welcome to our house album, I mean it has its songs i personally enjoy, but besides that if their album was their mixtape (on the house) everyone downloaded because it was free, no one would have bought the album reguardless, people are too cheap and not real fans. Maybe there to lyrical for rap or “Hip-Hop” because people cant keep up. But Future,2 Chainz, Chief Keef, Trinadad James, and more that mumble or have no emotion in their voices, not to mention monotone but they have hype and people buy there stuff.
Idk, Fans or people are backwards

    51. All i can do is shake my head…this shit is fire & I still don’t understand why is “selling records/record sales” the topic of discussion. That has nothing to do with skills and if you think that, you will end up contradicting yourself a whole lot

    52. It’s funny how Budden never recorded a track for method man when he punked him on the radio. You can tell who trying to us this to get there career back on track. This is good for hip hop and now we know worms work cuz every fish in the water took the bait…and personal too. If it was done maliciously one of the bosses would’ve responded from New York

      1. HIPHOP IS OVER YOUR HEAD, KID.

Method Man, Legend. Kendrick Lamar, Rookie.

Joey’s Response – A beckoning and shout out to all the Legends. Paying Respect! Raising Awareness..

” For State Prop and Beans, to when the L.O.X. first burst on the scene
For Queens, Pac and even Idi Amin
This for the Mobb and the purple tape, word to Inspectah Deck
This ain’t for the labels nah, Wu said protect ya’ neck
This ain’t a diss, I don’t want it to get spun wrong
And this for Big L, the block that Joe found Pun on .. “

    53. The best of the responses but it’s still funny how Kendrick’s got these average rappers off their asses.

    54. yea theirs jasons and myers out their rite now. also theirs ppl with rabbit mask on. they start play9ing on your swings in yur back yard laughing really crazy .thel do crazy things to u.
