    1. I wonder who voted lower than 5 on this dude, I mean don’t be hard on him, look all the other shity rappers, lol.

    2. Damn, Preem tagged this shit the FUCK UP! Can’t hear half the lyrics on this shit! All good though, this track goes HAARD!!

      1. crazy how we got 17 year old rapping like this then you got 36 year olds like 2chainz and ross rapping about nothin but drugs money and strippers

      1. Hes 17! the “bars” will come in time. The fact that he can spit like this already is promising. Joey Bada$$ is a questionabke name however.

      2. The kid is 17 and he has very good lyrics. Listen to his verse on Enter The Void with Ab-Soul. One of the most intricate verses in a while and did i mention he is 17.

    3. I think its funny that we got a 17 year old kid rapping about social awareness and consciousness while we got 28 and 35 year old rappers who are suppose to be the leaders rapping about swag and bitches. And they wonder why the youth is so fucked up.

    4. gay rapper, gay producer, gay beat, gay lyrics…. lmao. I bet Premier rhaped his new teenage boyfriend Joey. 2 fags. smh. swag

      1. Another Young Money loser speaking out their ass, this ones exceptionally retarded though he’s the first person I’ve ever herd diss Premier

    5. What you mean he doesn’t have bars? Jayohvee got bars for days.

      “I don’t drop bars, I drop prisons
Don’t sell rocks seen the spectrum through the prisms”

    6. Future of hiphop is looking good. All these YMCB and Maybach Music niggas should cash out now because these new young dude’s are fresh, skilled and hungry!

    7. This kid is the second coming after Nas as far as young dudes that jumped on the court with vets and KILLIN it! He’s staying true to the art form… Dope beats, ill lyrics. Joey Bada$$ is TUFF!

      1. hes nice. but lacks the charisma, witt, punchlines, metafores, and simlies that Big L had and made him a start

      2. Big L was VERY regional and over rated, he never would have sold records in the south or west at the level of biggie or Pac, his voice and his dialect were not universal…….Joey has a deep NY accent as well, who was the last artist to sell a respectable amount of records from NY? If you find someone to name I promise you they won’t have a deep NY accent……..just saying, and for the record I think Joey better than L already.

      3. Joey better than L already? They’re completely different, but big L definately had the better flow and simplistic but real dope punchlines. Why are people on Joeys dick so hard? He’s dope as fck but definately no legend in the making as far as I’m concerned… give it some time and stop begging for the D people

    8. People are rating this based on names and not the actual song…Beat is horrible, rapping/lyrics are boring, forgettable and simplistic. This kid needs to come out with his own style instead of making watered down 90’s music…

    9. serious? how can u hate??? sounds like 90’s nas, biggie, wu tang, likwit crew..with him a$ap rocky, kendrick and action…hip hop is good hands!!

      1. ASAP rocky is terrible man. He from Harlem trying to sound like he from the south?
Jay electronica, action Bronson, Joey badass, Fashawn, Kendrick Lamar these guys are about lyrics. I didn’t like Kendrick’s album though. Felt rushed.

That 90s sound is returning and lyrics aRe coming back.

    10. This is wack and I like both but …the beat is monotone and he is not saying anything. Not many people kill Preems beats ..Bumpy and Guru….plus its not mixed good need somemore bass in his vocals

    11. why everyone always wanna compare a rapper to another rapper. they the new this they the new that. who cares, if yu like it. yu like it.if you dont, then dont listen to it…

    12. This is that dope Hip Hop that I missed for years

I know about Kendrick and Black Hippy. wich are my favourites
But the kid Joey got that 90’s sound (Premo!), and Ilike that sh*t

It’s also cool we soon get to hear that Slaughterhouse/Premier joint
Lyrics and dope beats are coming back in this Hip Hop culture, hell 2 the yeah!

    13. what this kid is doing deserves respect at age 17 hes bringing back that early nineties boom bap shit…and he is promoting awareness and higher knowledge…hes got alot of potential i hope the majors dont make him switch it up 4/5 on the track…

      1. i don’t trust you because you’re on the internet and you might molest me if I’m foolish enough to trust you

    14. EWWW!!! This Track just makes you twist your face all the way up!!! CLASSIC Hip Hop right here…Gives me hope in the next hip hop Generation…KL and JB… 1-luv – Keep doing your thing fellas!

    15. Hip-Hop is alive and well with cats from the East like Joey and dudes from the west like K dot and down south brethrens like Krit. I thought there was no hope for the rap future but these dudes are holding the torch no doubt.

      1. JoeyBada$$ Ft. Capital STEEZ – Survival Tactics.
        JoeyBada$$ – Waves
        JoeyBada$$ Ft. Chuck Strangers – FromDaTomb$

    16. full lp with premo please

get earl sweatshirt and nas on a joey badass track with a premo beat.

joey badass needs to be on j. coles born sinner album

      this track is sick.
1999 best mixtape since friday night lights
      5/5

      1. fuck that. Nas, Snoop, Mobb Deep some dudes from Wu-Tang were all under 21 when their first album came out. and Earl Sweatshirt >> Joey

      1. It shows the east coasts lack of relevance in hip hop for a truly extended period of time, when references to a Jeru track thats well over a decade old is necessary. But I must say, I am a true Joey Bada$$ fan.

    17. oddfuture have no sense in real hip hop music this is the shit that needs to be deleted of comments when ppl say bullshit smh joey badass hot track

    18. to be very honest i dont like this premier beat, its very average at the most…joey did his thing on this though, but premo needs to not be making wack beats like this, you have better tools to make something more ill than this man, cmon…3 stars for the bars though

    19. That shit is wack. First of all, fuck all the cliche! Just because a nigga is on a primo beat and rhyme some big words doesn’t make him hot or lyrical or dope. Second of all, dude is young lol dude was 1 when Pac got shot.

      1. you must be real dumb…instead of tryin’ to learn the “big words”, which is a term used by uneducated fucks, he criticizes the educated and talented…get some more milk out your mama’s titty and earn a diploma or read a book, dummy.

      2. Thermo Who give a F#*k how old the kid is..You don’t just up and get the Premo co-sign just out the blue you clueless MF. Badass earned himself a spot on the because ONLY because of his lyricism & dopeness. Clearly you haven’t a clue what REAL is when it comes to music though. Fall back you make 0 sense b

      3. Age is most definitely not a factor, if you knew your hiphop you would know nas was only 19 during the making of illmatic and is one of the most highly respected hiphop albums of the 90s. Age is not the problem, what the hiphop society has become is the problem.

      1. He should go the independent route. He will probably make more money that way than be a slave to a 360 deal. Look at mac miller how much money his making of independent, plus his music doesn’t have that mainstream crossover appeal.

      2. My bad, I don’t know why I always say the fuckin dumbest shit EVER! Premier is a legend and Badass is nice. I’m on my Mom’s dirty couch right now, who am I to talk, lol?

    20. 2 stars.
      ive heard better from badass.
      primo beat was tight.
verses- lyrics were below average. flow was almost off beat. i am actually surprised that dj premier gave this the green light after hearing it..usually premier doesnt let sub-par shit get released over his beats.

hook- come on? what is that flow in the hook?

i dont know, maybe im biased when it comes to new york rap nowadays, nut honestly i think even asap rocky could have done better on this beat.
      smh

      1. You right! That kid doesn’t move me. A kid like Earl Sweatshirt moved me with his lyricsm but this kid is just another kid who chose the lyrical route over the snapyourfingerroute but he doesn’t have a clue.

      1. I wonder if you know he has played a crucial role in creating the New York hip hop sound. What the hell does him being born in Houston, TX have to do with shit. Tupac was born in Harlem…that made him an east coast rapper? clown…

      1. you on dope if you think this is wack…oh wait…rick ross and 2chainz is better? this is rapping not just lines over hot ass beats…rick ross and those dudes talk shit on beats thats it…these are MC’s nigga..hope your radio blows up…easy

    21. i hope this kid gets biggger and pushes asap out of the picture. This kid is a true solo artist. he wont need help from drake, 2chainz, and kendrick to make it.

    22. No disrespect to dude but his flow on this bored me….I am a HIP HOP FIEND and I know my history better than most but his flow and the beat made me fall asleep….SERIOUSLY! Still a Premier fan this was just not a good marriage…

      1. I think its a perfect marriage too. I like the slightly off flow. I also think he’s been through alot in a short space of time, I’m interested to see what he’s gonna be comin wid. Preemo sick as ever

    23. im starting to check joey baddass and im likeing this song so far.. that lil b diss was eh, for me at least… but this track has that 90’s feel to it.. im diggin it…

    24. He gotta come harder on a beat like this come on son u buggin even Wiz even Drake an otha niggaz came harder before they got fame so step that shit up.
