    1. Best song I have heard in a minute. Been a Cole fan from the beginning and it’s crazy watching the dude grow as a artist.

    2. YouTube j. Cole do green lantern…..think it’s the second video. The beat at the end……….hope that shits on his second album. Check it out people

    3. Cole is definitely one of favorite rappers. Been listening to this dude since the blow up. Good to see how far he’s come. Cole world!

    4. Feel like this track is a good example of how Cole is evolving as a writer as his situation in life changes (specifically the 2nd verse). It’s stil the same “voice” but keeps his shit relevant to the changes rather than grasping to the whole “grinding for my life” feel from the mixtapes. Keeps it real. Beat is dope too.

    5. damn cole is doing it right.
amber from the dirty projectors on this beat. such a great voice.
      diplo on the beats.

and cole spitting some dope bars. 5 stars.

    6. Never really got into dude’s music, He really sold out with the Cold World album. He was only hot on the internet when he put out that Saturday Night Live mixtape, then Drake put J Cole on his song In The Morning, and then boom, half of J Cole’s fanbase now came from Drake’s fanbase. That’s what happens when you sell out though. Compared to the rest of NY emcees, J Cole doesn’t match up. I just think he’s average, maybe he should try producing beats and see if he’s any good at that, because after his debut flopped, Jay probably won’t let him release another album.

      1. you have no idea what you are talking about you post the sme message on very j.cole song you are the defintion ofa hater with no life

      2. If you actually was a J. Cole fan you would have known that J.Cole put Drake on. In The Morning was on J. Cole’s mixtape the Blow Up a year before Drake even jumped on. As far as selling out goes thats your on personal opinion. But don’t take away from a man who came from nothing to making millions. You should congratulate!!!

      3. J Cole had to evolve from 2Pac mode. Having a heart that big will leave you hurt. I’m not disappointed. I prefer a ColeWorld.

      4. “Never really got into dude’s music, He really sold out with the Cold World album. ”

So…you never liked him (i.e. Not A Fan) but think he sold out (copped an LP of an artist you didn’t like)? That doesn’t make any sense.

      5. LOL … It would be funny if Eye Control is really just J. Cole playing on the net checking to see if he still got some love in the blogsphere.

      1. Seriously, guys is so underrated produced his first album didn’t use big time producers and is lyrical as fuck. He’s on another level.

    7. I can’t believe its been one whole year since that no platinum selling, uninspired, average at best weed plate known as Cole World had dropped. What a day!!

    8. Cole is truly that nigga that only comes around in a lifetime… When it’s all said and done his time this the game will be measured by the impact he makes.

    9. Diplo’s beats are always so crazy, He is an all rounder he can make any thing new fit an artist keeping both his style and something new and creative for and artist. If I heard this beat on it own I would never ever assume J Cole would jump on it but some how this works.

    10. Classic Cole. This dude has 1 album and is already an underrated rap great…. cant wait for the mixtape ( which are better then other niggas albums

    11. I see J. Cole as a top top producer now.
His Production gets better and better and i’m looking forward to his colab 100% JCole production with Kendrick.
      fu***** 5/5.

    12. I like the original song by Major Lazer. It sounds cheap when J.Coles on it. The song was chilling and haunting now it just sounds like plastic.

    13. LOOL THAT NIGGA GOIN IN THAT WANNABE KANYE GAY ASS FRANK OCEAN METROSEXUAL BEATS LANE ..COLE WORLD FO REAL THIS AINT HOT AT ALL. AUBREY >>> J.COLD

    14. fuck Roc Nation. deir artists are weak. dey cant destroy da legacy of YMCMB. Lil Waynes creativity and innovation is unstoppable. swag

      1. @AON_HipHop

Don’t you guys get the point? So Icy Boi is just trolling. Because people like you get angry and give him attention.

      2. YMCMB TO DC TO NJ TO CA TO NY all day errday bredderzz yall no pac n biggie b collabin with ymcmb instead of j cole if troopa waz still around aiit word to mother sonzzz

    15. The second verse is probably as hot as I’ve ever heard him on the tip, came outta nowhere. The thing that separates him from Drake in my opinion is that he’s able to talk about other people, not just himself. It’s all well and good to be on how things make you feel but if it’s always internalized it’s a waste of time.

    16. Nah… don’t do it for me. Y’all like hyping up the boi for no reason! I’m a Fool is the sick track, this is overdoing it!!!

    17. Originality in the hip-hop industry is minimal at best. Alot of Big/Pac clones. So to be fairly new to the game, and already have a bunch of J.(Insert) clones poppin’ up I gotta give to Cole. That means you doing something right when the industry starts to mold artists after you trying to get them to stick. Looking forward to the EP and the LP. Cole World

      1. Even more so when you’re being genuine and telling your own story rather than pretending to be something you’re not and telling someone else’s story

    18. Wooow..Cole is such a talented artist. breath of fresh air every time he graces the production and/or the mic..hope he keeps up the solid good work. not a foot wrong.

    19. Cole world, Hiipower, please do tupac a favor and support people (anyone including artist who reach out to millions) who struggle and are earnest and real. Good track has a new feeling to it, especially that flow at the end. I’m glad to know that hunger wont die until you do.

    20. J Cole is gonna be around for a long time! He has commercial appeal and he’s dope ass lyricist. Beat is nice…s/o to Diplo! Tupac sample at the end really threads the track together. There were no weak points in this song. Overall 5

      1. Me too man, “Temptation” is one of the dopest tracks I’ve heard in yearss… Apparently it’s so sick that they’re making a full album together, not just a mixtape

    21. I listened to this track when it came out and didn’t think anything of it. Listened to it 5 times in a row now. The verses are too sick. 2nd verse is ridiculous. Still, I wouldn’t want this on his second album. Another mixtape then album please. Nice1.
      Give this 3/5

    22. J. Cole is always low key racist against white people…Like in the first verse just because she is dating a white man his parents won’t understand her? I have seen that work on multiple occasions. Great song though.

    23. whoa, when j.cole wants to spit he can really spit, its good to see his conscious side, refreshing…i felt a pac influence here, i like the political angle, good stuff..
