Deadmau5 is doing the cross over between Hip Hop and Electro music well! I was not expecting this at all, considering the low quality David Guetta, Pitbull and his peers have been coming with.
Besides that, I think these cross overs have been damaging a lot Hip Hop because rap on dance tracks was replacing rap on Hip Hop tracks and thus, this lead to a crisis of good Hip Hop on the radio. The fact that artists like Ja Rule, David Banner and DMX have not been getting alot of airplay despite having the best music as of recently (Hip Hop wise) has not been helping either.
Anyway, good job Deadmau5! My respect has gone up for you!
