Although it’s not specified on what project this will be ending up on, new Kendrick Lamar music is always a good thing.

      1. Bruh you sayin Kendrick is overrated your crazy….. You prolly listen to gucci or waka thinking they are super lyrical Kendrick shits on everybody in the game Best Rapper Alive!!!!!! And section 80 was a classic Best album in 2011

      2. ^ jesus christ what the fuck does waka and gucci have to do with him have a fucking opinion? intolerant ass bitch nigga. trait of a hating ass nigga – false discredit the opinion of anyone who doesnt agree with your views. ol’ bill oreilly ass nigga!

      3. Thank you for pointing that. OD was amazing, if you like it more than s80, thats fine. dude chill, we all just trying to rock

    1. dude this shit got me so excited for kendrick again…i mean this guy is the future of hip hop hands down…and he has just begun. 4.5

    2. if this was lil wane yall would say this was gay and weird and that he was back on drugs. how the fuck does this deserve a 4.75… yall are dickiders. its disgusting. probably rated before you even listened

    3. wayne doesnt have the creativity to drop somethin like this and if he DID drop something like this hip hop fans would REJOICE because itd be a sign of wayne going back to his meeean roots

    4. Very creative track. I give it a 4.5 and im going to tell you why. The beat is dope, his flow was dope over the beat. His rhymes had substance. But the other guy rapping on this took it to a whole other level. Not because he spit crazy bars but his voice is dope and delivery is nice.

    5. i thought this track was pretty wild and creative and for those who are saying if wayne did this we’d hate it, your right, lil wayne wouldnt be able to lyrically match kendrick or his substance so yea if wayne went over this beat itd probably be a terrible song

    6. This is different but I like it. Not the most amazing thing I’ve ever heard but I can chill to this. 3.5/5

      1. Why is that line dope? Very basic.

SMH at you simple minded niggas getting hyped over a rapper mentioning a cartoon show.
And no that line didnt go over anyones head.

      2. Hipsters love when rappers make uncool things cool again. These same type niggas are the ones who wear ninja turtle backpacks in high school after they saw it was okay for them to do so.
But 3 years later they thought it was gay.
Trend motherfuckers need to find an identity.

        Dope track though

    7. Im hooked already. This guy is already one of my favorites.

      (no real order)
      Favorites
1.Lupe Fiasco-still remembering that feeling when I first heard Food&Liqour
2.Drake-Yep I said it. I can’t deny his talent and originality, deadly combination.
3.Fabolous-Ive been with him from the start, glad to see him FINALLY reach his full potential. Soul Mixtape is one of the best mixtapes of all time.
4.Big Boi-He is on this list because he never gets the credit he deserves. Perfect mix of hip hop and funk.
      5.Kendrick Lamar-Section 80 and now this!!!

      1. That’s not a list iv ever seen before..interesting list you have. Especially big boi as his best work is from decades past and your list seems to be very much based of this decade.

      2. I love old and new hip hop. You can’t forget about Big Boi’s last album Sir Licious Left Foot which was pretty recent. The generational gap in hip hop is deflating. The old cant appreciate the new and vice virsa.

    8. Interesting collab. Wouldn’t have thought that KL woulda tapped Gunplay but it makes perfect sense. Gunplay deserves more light, he been put in a lotta work. Salute KL, Cali all day!

    9. Kendrick is one of the most important rappers of the new era. I feel like he and Big KRIT are providing a lot of passion, energy, and creativity to music right now

    10. Dope track. Kendrick and Gunplay killed it. Probably the most lyrical shit ever from Gunplay, His flow and voice was perfect on this.

    11. This nice. Too bad the internets love affair and a Dr Dre who never had the west coast crown trying to pass it on can’t get him enough people giving a care for mainstream attention.

      1. I WOULD EAT NICKI MINAJ ASS FOR FREE, BUT NOT OPRAH’S FOR ANYTHING LESS THAN A MILL….I GOT OVER 200K IN MY ACCOUNT, U SOUND LIKE A DESPERATE BUM

    12. daaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmmnnnnnn the flow is just fuckin insane and the hook and bridge is outta this world! 5 stars to say the least.

    13. Wish this shit never ended.. song is so ill from the start to the end. Sickest beat ive heard in 2012. Cnt wait to see his next project.

      K.Dot 5 stars all day

    14. Kendrick at it again. I gave this a 5/5. The creativity, the flow, the content. Its all their. Great to see someone who isn’t afraid to be different. And even better to see it be dope. #WestSide

    15. Kendrick murdered this shit as usual but that fucktard Gunplay is horrible so 4 stars. Wish K Dot avoids that shit-for-brains in the future.

    16. Kendrick never needs to have anyone featured on any of his songs. If he was the only person who rapped on his entire debut album, I would be SO happy. I know that won’t happen though.

    17. I’ve never been a fan of “digital” music. But Lamar is the one exception…Although sometimes (like on the Cypher for BET) I feel he doesn’t try as hard as he should. But writing and rapping comes so naturally to him. He’s truly one of the most talented young talents I’ve heard in a while. Respect to Kendrick!

    18. I give it 5 stars because Kendrick is my favorite rapper and I love the verses but I will say the hook sounds a lil weird maybe my opinion will change after listening more like with some of his other songs

    19. k.dots flow was sick, the hook was sick, the beat was sick ! Gunplay spit a nice verse but his voice doesnt fit to me. best song since the new year has begun easily.

    20. ok, lets just say ‘notorious b.i.g – kick in the door’ is a 5/5 track, you niggas really think this track is as sick as kick in the door? kendrick raps nice on this but all that robot voice shit is weak, and so is gunplay. beat is ok. dont understand why this got so many 5’s…

1 for kendrick 1 for the beat

      2/5

      1. I think youre mis understanding the rating system.. to me atleast you give a song a 4 or 5 if you like the song and thought it was worth listening to/has re listening value. it doesnt mean its an absolute classic.

    21. 2/5 real talk, lots of dick riders around lately… how you think wayne and drake sell?…. not on music alone that forsure…

    22. 4/5 I did think it was gonna be ass until the drums kicked in. It’s different and unique, but it’s definitely still hiphop, and Kendrick kills it as usual.

    23. I love Kendrick.. but am I the only person that is completely baffled behind the meaning/idea of this song? It sounds good but WTF is it about? LOL

    24. This is why a part of me HATES this current generation of Hip Hop, to many wack artists are colloborating with really GOOD ones, it seems like every week there is another random ass pairing of rappers, and this one takes the cake.

    25. This nigga Kendrick bypassed all his peers just now. Kendrick Lamar is the best rapper in 5 years. Point Blank Period.

    26. my interpretation of the song is it’s about that instead of following the foot steps of ones parents mainly ones with a negative influence the parents would rather neglect a child and just stick them in front of cartoons rather then see them make the mistakes they’ve made, something along those lines pretty crazy concept kendrick always delivers with his stories and real life situations in his songs, hes like this generations tupac and i never throw pacs name around

    27. a new song!?? this is news?? lamar is pretty dope, but is really an artist that is filling the void for new headz and older pseudo hip hop headz that dont know the real and need some well rounded shit. dude is over rated and why are dre and pharell blowing every new artist that is only basic dope.

      1. Naaw dawg! This is just real gangsta shit right here … what do u expect when I just got done seeing that Nicki Minaj bullshit & hearing the even worse single she jus dropped? Of course Im gon b excited over some real shiiit right here.
real talk, this niggu right here is doing his thang!

    28. kendrick has a gay voice and a choppy flow. gunplay is straight wack. find another hero. kendrick lamar is an overrated can. looks like a homo 2.

    29. This shit started it out weird, but i fucks wit Lamar since i heard that section 80 jawn, nigga is his own bul n shit so its cool he aint doin what these other fake ass niggas is doin. This song go hard as hell tho, lyrically on sum other shit wit the concept n the bul gunplay did his thing, he ass tho on his other shit, but on this he killed it too.

    30. Dope record and concept. Was thrown off by Gunplay at first but it worked. BTW the general consensus is this record is a 5 on avg. Sorry haters…

    31. I’m gonna catch flack for this..but I’ve been checkin for KL since OD and dude is a breath of fresh air,I agree with some critics that he doesn’t seem to step it up..he knows how to narrate with the best of them, but flow wise, cadence wise and makin well rounded material that relates to more than late teens and early adulthood, dude has some growing to do..I think he will though, but the people that are championing this dude are too fickle for me..and the Dre’s and Pharrels of this world are looking at a paycheck and production credits, not because they fucks with him for real..just look at all the no name Mc’s they where so passionate about but ended up shelving or walking away from their projects..Dre has a very long list of Mc’s he shitted on after gassin them up..if KL doesn’t do the numbers they hope he does…KL is gonna be on that list too..he needs to continue with the people he came up with..and eveolve..

      1. So you’re comparing Kendrick to Bishop Lamont and shits like that? Naw, Kendrick obviously got more than that. If you were talkin bout Slim The Mobster or somethin I would agree, but Kendrick doesn’t need Dre to be relevant.

      2. Agreed on not needing DRE (who is overrated)

However I just hope he doesn’t go pop like J-Cole…. need to stay true to tracks like this.

      3. Plus, Lamar has his own peers to work with in Black Hippy and J.Cole and I’m sure scores of others willing to get him beats or guest features. He has risen without Dre and will do fine with or without him.

Only consequence of Dre cutting ties with Lamar is no more free headphones.

    32. Some of you dipshits make me laugh: if you give this more than a 4, you’re a stan.

Anyways, Kendrick is killing it as usual! And Gunplay was kinda ill on this actually…

    33. Keep up tha good worX Kendrick! we dont care if pop radio dont feel this shiiiit – This is black radio shiiiit big hit right here. If u dont like this – u dont like Hip Hop!

    34. 5/5 This shit is animal, for real!!! I love the creative stuff & this does not disappoint whatsoever. Anything less than a 5 in the ratings of this track, & someones either hating, a simpleton, or just doesn’t know good music.

    35. this is way hip hop is suppose to be at this point formless. this sounds like he going be mak9nig some classic music. he probably is only one right now that could put out anything that matters.

    36. Now ya’ll can see. I’m tru hip hop. Look at my j.u.s.t.i.c.e. league tatoo’s. Look at my j.u.s.t.i.c.e. league chain. Look at my corn rows. Look how I roc Air force one’s. Look how I alway’s wear a hat and leave the stickers on. I’m a producer!!!! I’m the best producer in the game!!! I’M COLIONE FROM THE J.U.S.T.I.C.E. LEAGUE!!!!!!!!!

    37. “Things we will never learn soon
In the era where we wanna earn soon
That’s a error, you can smell it in the air and everybody really doomed”

    38. All yall muthafuckas claiming to love hip-hop and have hip hop’s back don’t even support artists like this and buy their album…So how do you expect put hip-hop back to where it was? I don’t like this track…It just sounds like a bunch of braggadocio/controversial/ranting lyricism over a mediocre beat and a not so good hook…This type of music don’t appeal to the masses…It appeals to a small group of diehard hip-hop fans that don’t support it…I felt Gunplay’s verse more than K-Dot’s…3 out of 5 for being decent…

      1. Kendrick has a mixtape called C4 that he dropped just after Wayne put out The Carter 3, and he uses all of the beats and raps in a manner similar to Waynes. I think it shits on Carter 3, but Wayne sent him an exclusive verse for one of the songs

    39. This shit is different. A hook i never heard like before. Not my favorite but still dope. Hopefully Kendrick goes BIG! People are stuck on bullshit like Drake and Wayne and that’s coming from somebody who supported both but im tired of that R&B rap shit.

    40. It has taken a while for me to appreciate this song, even though I think Kendrick is one of the best in the game. Kendrick has something different, his music is so deep in it’s final sound and the creativity he puts into the production of the songs, it captivates his fans in a unique way, it’s almost like we see him as something higher because of the genius way he makes music. But he’s just a man with a talent that is hugely respected. Love this song now and Kendrick gains more respect from me.

By the way, I’m proper stoned writing this, so I don’t know if it really makes sense

    41. aint nuthin special about this nigga rap skills which is prolly y he cant blow up…without beat and gunplay on it wouldnt even be worth listening to

      1. -___- son what does blow up have anything to do wit skill? Gucci blew up, so did big sean, wiz, waka, tyga, and they are wack as fuck. Listen to ronald reagan era, rigamortis, and night of the living junkies

      2. YOu’re a fool plain and simple. Just like you can’t understand raps unless they are plain and simple. I’m not gonna hate on this guy “gunplay” cuz he had a purpose in this song but he’s not on because he’s nice

      3. i swear the reason kendrick will never blow up is because he will never sell out. all those other rappers have sold there soul for the fame and b1tches. All the rappers that actually have something to say and have a conscious will always be underground. real hip hop is about lyrics.

    42. A couple ppl on another site said this reminded them of OUtkast in ATLiens and that was the exactly the same thing that came to mind. YOu can recognize Kendrick as being a good MC if you realize that being a good MC is more than just putting hot bars on a beat.

I actually have to listen to Kendrick’s words to get what he’s doing

    43. Gunplay drops a cold verse…

“Nobody can’t mute me / But I never said nobody can’t shoot me…”

    44. “I’m from bottom jungle…
living in the botttom of food chain, when you get a new chain niggas take it from you!”

      I’m I hearing right>>??

      1. thank you. crazy how people can criticize this. anything foreign to people these days is met with ignorance. Crazy concept. “All them days at the county building, I’m bout to make my momma rich”. Let him cook! TDE! 6/5

    45. Kendrick Lamar is the future of westcoast hip hop. This dude is an elite rapper and in due time the world will recognize.

    46. This guy, kendrick lamar, I never really listened to his stuff cause I don’t like his voice; he sounds like a frog or somethin. But all this fanboy hype he got, makes a dude curious what all the hype be about. This song is gonna make me check out that section 80 I been hearin bout, I ain’t madd at this beat btw haha.

    47. THIS GO HARD…GUNPLAY CAME OUT OF LEFT FIELD WITH DAT…NICE BEAT AND FLOW.

      salt all in my wounds
hear my tears all in my tunes
let my life loose in this booth just for you
      mafucka hope yall amused!
      i did wrong, karma came
crackers gave me ball and chain
      friends, enemies all the same
      state, fed, both can hang
nobody can mute me, but i never said nobody can shoot me
just another stat to the white folks
still whip work to the white yolk, absolutely!
everyday feel like the one before
hunt the money, dont hunt the ho
if you do what you always done
then you get what you always got
      you number fools!
i aint seen the back of my eyelids
for about the past 72 hours
hand on my heart, face to the hood
i pledge every word you ever heard was honest
      yeah this me, no mic
no cameras, no lights, just pain
mama how much trauma can i sustain?
dirty money come with lots of stains
road to riches come with lots of lanes
just another player with lots of game
never had shit got lots of game
just another player with lots of game..
never had shit got lots of game

    48. that beat is mean, interesting song…i expect so much from kendrick, but ill git a 5 anyway coz of the beat and concept..

    49. This is the music that makes you wanna reconnect with your family. Get a job. Vote. Make a difference. Live with truth. Beautiful music. Go kendrick go!!! Pac is duggyin in his grave homies let’s accept that ok.

    50. BlackHippy!.fuck groups that are for the sake of being a supergroup.jayrock, absoul, schoolboyQ,and kendrick lamar have proven that westcoast artists have and continue to take hiphop to new levels..

    51. Damn Kendrick has never had a bad song rlly…. at least not in the past 2 years. Love how detailed and deep his concepts are.

    52. Dope song as usual from Kendrick, but real shit, i always thought that if Gunplay got away from MMG and got with as more conscious group of people, for example like TDE he could be nice and have a solid solo career

      1. I Get What You’re Sayin’ But Don’t Forget Stalley Is With MMG and It Looks Like They Finally Gonna Give Him A Push. Gunplay Would Be Huge Because He Has The Best of Both Worlds Hood Shit and Consciousness..I Wanna See Him Win.

    53. Wow hip hop nerds stay losing.

Y’all think this is dope? For real? This shit ain’t even a fucking song.
It sounds like music for meth heads. I would be embarrassed to play this shit in the whip.

And no I’m not a little Wayne fan.

      1. just doesn’t have the typical simple base, hook, “verse”, cookie cutter rap feel about it. stop just hearing music and LISTEN. this ish clearly went over someones head..

    54. This is dope but i gotta be honest i dont think anyone else from black hippy is dope. Schoolboy has some good songs but he just makes ignorant music wit wack lyrics for the most part, ab-soul only got really lyrical on section 80, and jay rock is ehh. I think Bronson got a nicer crew

      1. To me ab-soul is nicer than schoolboy…but he doesnt show his true potential. Kendrick does over and over again…but when ab-soul is on he is on!! I just need more of that from him

    55. Best Hip Hop song of 2012 so far…Is it me or has Gunplay been playing with a weegie board? Cuz dammit if you don’t feel Pac’s presence in his voice…shit is kind of eerie

      Well done Kendrick!

      1. And q tip and banks sqeaky voices arent? But they can rhyme right? Fuck outa here wit na complainin bout dem bombaclot voices! If dey ruff dey ruff ona mic…kendrick get bizzy

    56. This is some of the best hip hop i’ve heard in years. Kendrick finally sold me. Section 80 was hot but I always thought it was a bit overrated–a few weak cuts early in the album. This shit right here is deep as fuck. Been bumping it since it dropped.

    57. Kendrick could start a revolution if he wanted to. Gunplay can’t touch K Dot, but still NICE. THIS is something you put on your album.

      1. Revolution my ass. The last rapper that would have been able to start a revolution was tupac. We all know what happened to him.

    58. Never heard any music from Lamar or Gunplay, of course I’ve heard of em, just never gave a fuck about their music…

this shit right here is hot. Might start looking into this cats music.

BTW, this shit has OUTKAST ALL OVER IT…

      1. Download overly dedicated, section 80, then download the tracks vanity slave, vanity slave 2, faith, and the heart pt. 1. After that just wait for new kendrick because hes just getting better and better lyrically

    59. Bout time something off the wall came out.. Dope!! Funny how people say this is isn’t even music. Same BS people said about Outkast when they came out.

    60. Cats like Kendrick Lamar are dope because for one they’re talented and two they do what the f**k they wanna do. Him, Kid Cudi, The Cool Kids, PAC DIV, Lupe Fiasco, Kidz in the Hall, The Knux, J Cole, Drake, Yelawolf, Wiz Khalifa, Andre 3000, GLC, Common, N*E*R*D, Kanye West, Chip Tha Ripper, Tyler the Creator, Theophilus London, Black Starr, Jay Electronica etc are some examples of Artists that make dope Music, could care less what you think and they do it from the heart. Much respect to them all

Kendrick Lamar when does the album drop?

      1. Jesus you like skinny jeans hipster music…i need to put you on my man lmao only nice ones on ur list are kendrick, ol lupe, kanye, black star, jay elect, and andre

      2. fuck the 2 niggaz above me.only a hipster would say that was hipster music.his list is fine shut the fuck up

    61. saturday morning cartoons, bigass bowl of frosted flakes, not a care about the outside world…yup, i can relate

popping bottles with models in the club, being depressed and whiney because of fame and wealth, crying over bitches….uh nope, can’t say that i know what’s that about

    62. The fact he got Gunplay on this just randomly out the blue to do the hook is interesting in itself.

Dope ass song. Kendrick Lamar is the truth and should go down in history as one of the bests and noteworthy. He has an extraordinarily high ceiling. Dude is actually scary.

Just don’t pull a Lupe Fiasco and shit on your core fans while crying about creativity and dude will be more than cool.

      1. …Lupe’s mixtapes should prove enough why real hip-hop heads fuck with him. Food & Liquor and The Cool made small references to the muslim faith, but not nearly as much as it educated you and made you actually think about shit. Lupe’s wordplay is un-fucking-touchable. Listen to Dumb It Down or Real Recognize Real, or The Emperor’s Soundtrack… let alone Kick Push II or Streets On Fire.. OR that mixtape he did over songs from “Demon Days” by the Gorillaz. His core fans most definately hated Lasers, but Atlantic Records is to blame for all the production and nonsense there, and even that CD had lyrics that weren’t cliche, overused themes, it had some real shit in it.

That being said, while Fiasco continues to get dumbed down by Atlantic, I will continue to fuck with Kendrick, this dude is the illest kid I’ve heard in a good long while.

KL and a few others like A$AP Rocky and Big K.R.I.T. and Smoke Dza have all been putting out straight fire music the past year.

    63. im glad gunplay finally is getting the acknowledgement he deserves. its sad to say his biggest hit came off a feature NOT involving MMG. big ups to kendrick recognizing.

    64. Personally – I think this is the most creative thing out right now.

KL comes of boring sometimes – a little Nas like – but this track s the right balance…

      1. If anything Jay z is boring…talkin bout balling and flashy things at the age of 42 GET THE FUCKK OUTA HEREE…love you tho jay lol just need to hang it up..or just do features. Kendrick da truth doe

    65. None of dese new guys fucking with kendrick at ALLL…except this cat by the name of Rasheed Chappel…real underground ny shit but lyrical. I mean there are talented rappers, but none on kendrick’s level. Gun play nah murddaaad it

    66. ebay.com/itm/260969772419?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649

      1. Fuck off. If I wanted one of your albums, I would have searched for it on eBay. This thread is about Kendrick Lamar, not your dusty ass CD’s.

    67. for those who dont get y gun play on here. its a reason. gunplay was the uncle who was outside tellin wat he went thru and his reason and why he told him to stay inside and watch cartoons. he was the person kdot once looked up to and got locked up AND MADE THENEWS real black gutter pain shit

      1. lmfao, never! PAC is the greatest that ever lived. go back and listen to all his records. but have to give it up to k dot…creative!!!

      2. K.dot goes hard, but he isn’t near B.I.G or Pac. With time they would have only got better. Mad props to Black Hippie and the whole movement. The older greats will always remain-at least in my opinion-the best.

      3. Maybe potentially (probably not) but you can’t compare this dude who only has 1 album out to those two who completely changed the game and made multiple classics (You could argue Biggie but Disc 1 off LAD and Ready to Die were definatly classics.) This dude could very well be a legend, but its way too soon to judge.

    68. damn. this dude pretty good actually but nowhere near tygas level. should sign to YMCMB. young money takin over, all the good niggas be signed. kendrick gonna be irrelevant if he dont join up.

      1. young money is a stupid name and shit artists. your a ridiculous cunt to say he would irelevent if he doesn’t sign to them. hes doing fine without those cunts.

      2. you must be retarded, no one in ymcmb spits content, they are all straight garbage, for you to say tyga is better than kendrick, nigga you must have been hit by a mack truck, or you’re 12 and have zero idea what you’re even talkin about, your whole comment is the stupidest shit i’ve read in my life, open your fucking ears and listen you crispy fuck, shiiiit, black hippy all day everyday bitches 25/8, one..

    69. fuckin love this track. Listened to it a bunch of times. Can someone tell me the concept of the song?

      1. The concept is that Kendrick grew up watching cartoon characters like Wile E Coyote and Elmer Fudd. While he did so, he would see the things his parents do, with them trying to raise him up great, which they did, have him finally realize the irony of what they taught him growing up to never be in gangs and never get into the crowd around it. He’s running shit now, even when he stayed away from the bad sides of the rough Compton scene.

“Elmer Fudd said shoot em down”

So he shot em down with his music.

    70. Kendrick is the truth. He reminds me of that
dude top dawq…. Aftermath baby. Dre put his shit out!!

      1. k-dot is not lyrical hes technical, he can flow on just about any beat.Lupe on the other hand can spit a bar with double entendre even up to 4 entendres(4 meanings in 1 bar). Lupe wins

      2. Hmm thats a hard choice. Both k dot and lupe are my fav rappers but i think lupe is a bit more lyrical than kendrick. but kendrick has potential tho

      3. “lupe fiasco please aint got shit on kendrick nobody as creative as he is.. the end”

LMAO; SLR, BMF, WWJD probably LOL like WTF, and No I’M not spelling for fun. Those songs show creativity. “The Cool”… you know what I’m going to leave you alone. That shizz could pass with Nasir,or Kanye being more creative EVEN Kid Cudi. You must have not heard Switch listen to switch(the science project) *Ben Stiller voice*: Do it… DO IT! SMDH

        Good DAY sir!

      4. every song on the cool and food and liquor has a concept and are extremely lyrical.. i love kendrick but come on

      5. Kendrick reminds me of the Food and Liquor Lupe. If Lupe stayed with the street flow instead of the newer shit he been putting out for the sake of sales, then I would say him, but Kendrick is on that real street shit….he on that real poetry, creative, clever shit. I used to be a real big Lupe fan because of his Fahrenheit mixtape series, but I really can barely listen to his new shit i.e. “Lasers”, “Friend of the People”, etc….I just hope Food and LIquor 2 ain’t whack.

    71. Out of this world. Genius. My anticipation for his album has gone through the roof. His potential is scary. Wow , we’re witnessing greatness.

      1. you a cornball son. this nigga is aight, but he aint nothing special. lyrically, he’s average at best.

    72. The intro ” now I was raised…” sounds like early Outkast, that’s a beautiful thing, when new artists evolve and incorporate what came before them.

    73. i’ll give this nigga props for the concept and overall flow of this song. it’s not ordinary. but lets stop playing around, his lyrics are garbage. incidentally, i do believe flow wise he was influenced by the good life emcees. yall should check it out. cats like ngafish, cve, volume ten, figures of speech, hiphop clan and them. they got better lyrics, but the same flows. that’s why they’re superior.

      1. Kendrick spits… but we have heard his tone and flow from digable planets b4.. more like a rehashed aforementioned MC’s and digable plants…. its done in hiphop all the time.. i.e. nas flow from Rakims prowess… jus nas sounded like NAS. oh well. hiphop lives… kinda

    74. This is crazy! kendricks shit aint the music you can understand on the first listen.. he’s on another level

    75. niggas overhype kendrick way too much smh makes people go in with high expectations….how the fuck can u say kendrick is better then big an pac smh kids nowadays
