A well known rapper charges a lot more money for a verse than a hook for one. The other may have been creative vision wasn’t for Weezy to rap, similar to My Life track, which did okay with just Weezy on the hook.

I just have to speak on one thing. The R.E.D. Album.
I told cats that this man actually has talent and is actually what hip hop needs and is begging for right now. People looked at his past albums, antics, and what not. I say he was very hyped up and had a whole lot of other stuff going…but you couldn’t deny the dude’s talents. He suffered through being immature and being bi-polar as hell. Very much so. And I know bi-polar people.
So when the word and anticipation was fierce as its ever been for his album…I wasn’t sure to think. Until I heard the snippets and remembered what he said regarding this album a long time ago: He said that it was going to be like the documentary but not like the first album. It was going to be a diary and a timeline.
That’s why I told myself after hearing the snippets that this man, off of sound alone, that this could be his greatest album to date and furthermore this could be a timeless art that people complain of not having in the hip hop world anymore. I got laughed at, talked about, and doubted.
Today I got the deluxe edition of The R.E.D. Album. The album cover is way better than the one you’ve seen.
You can hate him as a person. You can hate him just because you choose. You can even think of him being 30 (or 31) speaking on gang life as not something you’re fond really.
But it’s one thing you can’t say…
You can’t say this album is trash. Cause if you do, you are pretty much a liar.
He’s made a classic. And I don’t use the word “classic” lightly like it’s used these days.
I just happened to see z off’s comment below and he speaks what Game’s done on this album. The multiple styles utilized. The breath control. The wit. The song making. And the most important part on what makes this album dwelve into “classic” territory: The fact that this album tells a wonderful story and paints a vivid picture based on a solid and well executed concept.
This album reminds me of the technical concepts performed with Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. It reminds me of the same technical concepts achieved with Masta Ace’s album (pardon if I misspeak it) “A Long Day in Summer”. This album reminded me really tough of Only Built 4 Cuban Linx Part II.
It’s worthy of spending cash. Trust that fact. It’s the total opposite of Watch The Throne.

Didn’t really like it. Game clearly stole Tyler the creator’s monotone flow, and then put the man on his song. It was like listening to Tyler the Creator the whole time. Wayne’s hook was awful. While tyler had that funny line about Jayceon’s name dropping he still failed to impress me overall. You want to impress game? Go find hopsin bruh, then you could have some real talent on your album that comes out in a week

I told cats that this man actually has talent and is actually what hip hop needs and is begging for right now. People looked at his past albums, antics, and what not. I say he was very hyped up and had a whole lot of other stuff going…but you couldn’t deny the dude’s talents. He suffered through being immature and being bi-polar as hell. Very much so. And I know bi-polar people.
So when the word and anticipation was fierce as its ever been for his album…I wasn’t sure to think. Until I heard the snippets and remembered what he said regarding this album a long time ago: He said that it was going to be like the documentary but not like the first album. It was going to be a diary and a timeline.
That’s why I told myself after hearing the snippets that this man, off of sound alone, that this could be his greatest album to date and furthermore this could be a timeless art that people complain of not having in the hip hop world anymore. I got laughed at, talked about, and doubted.
Today I got the deluxe edition of The R.E.D. Album. The album cover is way better than the one you’ve seen.
You can hate him as a person. You can hate him just because you choose. You can even think of him being 30 (or 31) speaking on gang life as not something you’re fond really.
But it’s one thing you can’t say…
You can’t say this album is trash. Cause if you do, you are pretty much a liar.
He’s made a classic. And I don’t use the word “classic” lightly like it’s used these days.
I just happened to see z off’s comment below and he speaks what Game’s done on this album. The multiple styles utilized. The breath control. The wit. The song making. And the most important part on what makes this album dwelve into “classic” territory: The fact that this album tells a wonderful story and paints a vivid picture based on a solid and well executed concept.
This album reminds me of the technical concepts performed with Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. It reminds me of the same technical concepts achieved with Masta Ace’s album (pardon if I misspeak it) “A Long Day in Summer”. This album reminded me really tough of Only Built 4 Cuban Linx Part II.
It’s worthy of spending cash. Trust that fact. It’s the total opposite of Watch The Throne.
