    J. Cole and Drake come together for this track off ‘Friday Night Lights’. The hook interpolates Jay-Z’s intro verse on ‘Can I Get A…’

    1. this a old cole song with a new verse and drakes verse kinda wish they woulda chosen a different topic but they still held it down

      1. u got that twisted coles the artist drakes the rapper..he’s in it for what sells and the money not the artistic side of the music

    2. hahaha, flake fell flat on hiz face on here. WEEEAAAAKKKKKK! fuck outta here flake. j cole killed u on diz shit. 5 starz 4 cole, 0 4 flake.

    3. drake was disappointing outside of the “inner thighs show” line. idk, i like the original version better tho most definitely

    4. i am not a drake fan but if anyone thinks his verse wasnt hand crafted for this track yall must be high off that hater kush…dope ass song nice smooth feel.
and i finally figured it out…j cole raps like pac..same style

      1. I was just thinking that shit yesterday. Same vocal quality, Almost exactly the same content, but Pac was a little more charismatic.

    5. i like the original one better without drake in it its waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better then this one but still a great track

    6. This feels good but it’s laughable that people are giving these guys credit for bringing lyricism back. Frankly I have not heard any great lyricism from either. A couple of slick lines here and there that’s about it. Good music is good music though.

    7. drake killed it and so did j.cole im not going to say who’s better at what im glad they’re making music together. both helping hiphop glad to see that

      1. it would be better if they were rivals. everything is better with enemies and competition to be the best…they dont care about being the best, just making money which is good for them but it would be better if they were throwin out songs against eachother

    8. I’m a big J. Cole fan…and I thought he was going to destroy Drake on this but…Gotta give it to Drake on this one…although Cole’s 2nd verse is right there

      1. I’m not picking on you bro, but finally, a honest j cole fan. For anyone to say j cole ate drake on this is full of shit. I’m no fan of drake, and for me the jury is still out on j cole, but drake verse actually fit the song better. The subject matter, which is very typical of both artist, was set for a more laid back style. If you’re talking about banging a chick in the morning, why would you come off overly amped up. I said this before, but cole needs to expand his subject matter, and flip his delivery up more to be talked about as an elite artist. At this moment he’s just a hungry artist with some above average punchlines. Nothing about any song I heard from him made me say how did he do that.

    9. now ain’t dis a bit*h, drake killed j. cole on his own track now j. cole fans wanna call a truce. lmao if drake’s bars was mediocre y’all woulda chewed him up but now he killed j. cole y’all talking about they both better. as da saying goes u can take somebody outta da ghetto but u can never take da ghetto outta him, u can say drake dun went commercial but u can never take his ability to rip a track outta him. Comeback Season Drake is coming back

      1. hop off drakes light skinned dick please…. Drake verse was cool, but this song isn’t as strong as the original version with J. Cole…. Plus the biggest disappointment, was that Drake’s singing ass decided not to sing on it at all when it was the perfect track for that. Too busy tryna compete with Cole instead of being himself….. Honestly I feel like J. cole verses are weaker on this version because maybe he doesn’t feel challenged by Drake. Is he getting cocky? *jus sayin*

      2. how did drake kill cole on this song when he had straight forward lyrics nothing witty no metaphors none of that jus rapping smh get off drake nuts but both did great on the song nobody killed anyone

    10. this a old track from cole they just added the last two verses. and cole verse was still better than drake verse in my opinion.

    11. Drake did no justice to the track.. The original track was much better.. Drake was better off singing on the track lol.. Its nice to hear both of them on a track together but lets hear them on something new.. Pull out the pens and pads. and get to writing.. -Fly Ass Nerd

    12. im sorry, but everybody has an oppinion and although i beleive jcole is better than drake, i think drake out did him on this one

    13. Why did I have the biggest feeling that if Drake were to record with J. Cole that THIS was gonna be it?? O well, J. Cole still outshined Drake on this, how about a more original track next time (in terms of beat, not idea). 4 stars.

    14. Whoa lets not get carried away J.Cole’s old verse was better than drake’s new one. I am a drake fan so no hatin just honesty.

    15. told ya’ll both of em r hot n drake did that shit but cole was dope too c i gave both props even though i like drake more soooooooo u c thats how u comment two great mc’s

    16. Drake said himself they were doing a song for the ladies, not a song to flex muscles. Track is decent, old beat though.

    17. This is clever… The two of them found a way to avoid the “who’s better” argument because of this topic. This is smooth and classic hip-hop with a residual value to match (this will definitely be played for years to come) It’s that good… #HatersFallBack

    18. anyone that thinks Drake verse is better than J. Cole’s is retarded and doesn’t know hip hop. Drake is basically talking, his verses are short lines separated with a loud breath or “yeah”. J. Cole is definitely better than Drake. Drake is a Lil Wayne dick rider

      1. shut the fuck up dude…it called intangibles…you know that something that makes an artist great. thats why drake is doper than j cole. just like pac…he didnt’ have the best lyrics or the best flow but he’s one of the greatest. get a clue backpacker

    19. this shits nice. im a big big cole fan and think hes a lot better than drake… but i dont think these are his best rhymes and i think drake mighta got him on this one

    20. iight let’s be honest yall this isnt the track we expected or wanted from them as far as a collab goes. still it was good. not great. i think the hook coulda been better. both of their verses were good. but i think drake was better cuz this is his tpe of joint. females are his number one topic. that serena williams line stood out to me even tho it was simple. i dont think this track shows who’s better lyrically or flow wise. but it is a good thing for hip hop. both are nice m.c’s. good job.

    21. drake changed up his voice a bit in his verse which works well with the beat, and cole spit dope like usual. id like to hear more from these two, great collab.

    22. J Cole is hands down the best new mc in the past year maybe 2 i been rockin wit him since the come up and Friday Night Lights is gonna be up there quality wise wit Dark Twisted Fantasy that says a lot

      1. Word i been fucking with cole since the come up too! that boy kills every track he’s on! Hes on the way to be the greatest wait untill that album drops! im waitin on this Villematic to drop do you know exactly when it drops???

    23. J. Cole posted three links to his mixtape and they all crashed! Got Damn! we all want his music as as soon as it drops.. thats how good this kid is

    24. This song is nice. He gets crazy buzz off his mixtapes and doesnt have to rely on Jay to give him notoriety. Thats talent.

    25. Cole Complpetyly out did drake on this track . . its a mix from the warm up with two new verses but shiht is still hot . i dont think i heard a cole track that i didnt like, wordd to mother.. GOAT

      1. Lol! How do you say GOAT when he hasn’t even been on the surface for a year. Moron. He’s tight but GOAT goes to those who do what he did this year for over a decade – real talk.

    26. LOL.. GOAT?? Cole is hot but he doesnt even have a studio album out. He is not even in the conversation for the GOAT. Maybe in 15 years.. haha

    27. drake was blowed as fuck on this track lol i guess working wit j. cole had him that worked up despite wat he said

    28. Love J. Cole and don’t know if it’s cuz i’ve listened to his verse so much before but Drake killed him on this. This is what I’ve been waiting for

    29. it’s good to be back
I see J. Cole is still doing his thing……
and Drake still needs to shut the fuck up….
      What Up!

    30. I think they both kinda did their thing on this. I’m not the biggest Drake fan, but I’m also not one to just diss everything he does just because he’s a pop star. Good Music is Good Music…Shitty Music is Shitty music. When he makes a shitty song, I’ll say it’s shitty. This was a good listen, so props to both.

    31. This song is the shit. Cole is the shit. Cole, Kanye, Banks, Royce and Lupe Fiasco are killing everybody. Eminem is too hit and miss these days.

Cole’s mixtape is better than Drake’s album lol

    32. You niggas hating on Drake just because he is Drake. I am not his biggest fan but he is good, way better than rest of these dudes out.

And he held his own on this track!
