Always been my favorite rapper because he was so heavily influenced by 90s gangsta rap. Just very recently I’ve been disappointed. He came out with a few 2009 videos of him in the studio working on “Reunion” and “White Soft Porn” as well as other tracks. Sounded like straight fire, and I was hyped up. Then he started pushing out these poop tracks left and right. Lazy, quickly thrown together songs. Then he released 400 bars and I felt like Game was back again. “Brake Lights” was straight fire, despite it having a few very “clubby” tracks and very mainstream sound. It had me ecstatic with songs like “Hahahahaha” or “Trading Places” or “Street Riders.” Then Game says in an interview “if R.E.D. isn’t my best work to date, God may take my kids away from me” which made me fucking sick alone. It also made me happy though, because I knew that he wouldn’t make that claim without releasing the most incredible rap album of all time. Now we get this? “I’m the King” is absolute diarrhea, along with many of the other tracks he’s been doing recently. You can tell that he’s been losing his 90s influence and trying to follow modern trends, rather than being The Game.

Always been my favorite rapper because he was so heavily influenced by 90s gangsta rap. Just very recently I’ve been disappointed. He came out with a few 2009 videos of him in the studio working on “Reunion” and “White Soft Porn” as well as other tracks. Sounded like straight fire, and I was hyped up. Then he started pushing out these poop tracks left and right. Lazy, quickly thrown together songs. Then he released 400 bars and I felt like Game was back again. “Brake Lights” was straight fire, despite it having a few very “clubby” tracks and very mainstream sound. It had me ecstatic with songs like “Hahahahaha” or “Trading Places” or “Street Riders.” Then Game says in an interview “if R.E.D. isn’t my best work to date, God may take my kids away from me” which made me fucking sick alone. It also made me happy though, because I knew that he wouldn’t make that claim without releasing the most incredible rap album of all time. Now we get this? “I’m the King” is absolute diarrhea, along with many of the other tracks he’s been doing recently. You can tell that he’s been losing his 90s influence and trying to follow modern trends, rather than being The Game.
