Apathy is another simple nerdy, white rapper who is deemed “lyrical” because he uses words like “atomic”, “comet” and “demonic”. (Like 98% of the other underground backpack rappers)
There are lyrical rappers (GZA, Nas, Mos Def, Black Thought, Jay Electronica etc) who are really intelligent and deep and then there are the rappers who pretend to be lyrical (Apathy, Slaughterhouse, Ras Kass, most underground rappers white boys like)
How are Nas and Apathys verses comparable exactly? Look at the start of these verses

Nas is a deep dude, a deep writer…Apathy is just another backpacker who grew up listening to Nas and 90’s rappers trying to emulate their style when he’s not half as intelligent as they are.

Many rappers do multi’s just for the sake of it, but what is a guy like G Rap then who’s able to drop crazy ass rhyme schemes while telling a coherent story on the level of Nas’ best tracks? You can like Nas’ music the most for different reasons, but he’s far from being the most skilled rapper out there. The pure perfection of rapping G Rap displayed on albums like Live And Let Die is still unmatched to this day.
