It’s good to hear Deck spit a dope verse. I can’t front, he fell off hard for a while. There was a few years in the mid to late nineties when niggas were talkin’ about Deck as one of the nicest MCs in the game. Then after the Wu-Tang Forever album it seemed like he lost his flow and his hunger. Esoteric always had a name that was much doper than his actual rhymes. Roc Marciano is just a beast. He’s become one of my favorite MCs, and “Reloaded” is fire.
Bringing back that ol New York rap! Reminds me of some mid 90’s WU. The feel of the beat and rhymes are definitely a throwback. Don’t see this having much commercial appeal. But joints like this get the underground heads boppin.
