Hailing from West Palm Beach, Florida, aspiring rap sensation Zig Garcia, or simply Zig, has returned with a new EP titled Breakfast With The Plug, a six-track offering with production from frequent collaborator G. Bliz that he hopes will introduce him to a wider audience.
“The goal with this EP is to show people that I am ready to be among the top acts in rap,” Garcia tells HipHopDX. “It is a lead up to my full mixtape that will be dropping this summer. The title really means breakfast with myself and is a reflection of some of the things that have been going on in my life. You hear me touch on those things throughout the project. You can expect hard-hitting, vibey beats with clever punchlines. They’re songs you can ride out to or listen to at the club. There’s something for everyone.”
Beginning with “Back & Forth” and culminating with “So Real,” Breakfast With The Plug is a colorful trip into Zig’s relationship turmoil as he tries to come to terms with what exactly love is.
