Z-Ro is open to taking his talents to Hollywood but the Mo City Don has revealed there are certain roles he wouldn’t touch, like playing a police officer.

The Houston native stopped by 97.9 The Box on Thursday (April 6) where he was asked about potentially making the jump into the film or TV world.

“I’ve heard this before. I don’t really think I’m funny. I don’t even seeing why people think I’m funny,” he said, explaining that people have mentioned to him before that he should try his hand at a comedy.

Host J-Que then brought up Z-Ro potentially playing a cop in a drama for a lucrative $5million payday, but don’t expect that to happen. “Nah, nah, not for no cop,” the former Rap-A-Lot rapper said.

Z-Ro has a checkered past with law enforcement which includes being arrested in July 2017 after he was accused of beating his ex-girlfriend three months prior. A grand jury dropped the felony charges later that same year.

He was then hit with misdemeanor charges related to the alleged altercation with Just Brittany, which were also dismissed.

In other Z-Ro news, a fan recently defended his honor by berating Trae Tha Truth over the alleged ambush of his former ABN tag-team partner outside a restaurant last August.

“I’m finna call Trae Tha Truth out. Fuck that muthafucka,” the fan can be heard saying in the clip from a recent sporting event. “It’s all about Z-Ro for life, baby! There his bitch-ass is right there!”

Once Trae started making his way out and stopped to sign some autographs, the heckler started yelling at him and immediately got a reaction. “Fuck you, Trae Tha Truth! Z-Ro for life, baby!” he said. “You jumped Z-Ro, baby! Come on! Let’s get it!”

Footage of the 2022 incident showed several men kicking and punching Z-Ro, who was curled up in a ball on the ground.

“[I was] minding my business and when I walked outside, I’m called over to the side of sprinter van and [Trae] was like, ‘Ay, when you get finished doin’ that, come take this walk with me right quick,” he said.

“I was like, ‘You talkin’ to me?’ I had to make sure he was talking to me ’cause I mean, I see you everywhere, you see me everywhere. So when I walked over there, the only thing I saw after that was this [gestures to being punched in the face].”
