Young Thug‘s classic mixtape, Slime Season 2, has finally been released on streaming for the first time.
Originally dropped in October 2015, Slime Season 2 has taken almost a decade to become available on the various streaming platforms.
The drop did not come with any comment from Thugger but the mammoth 22 song project will also be available on vinyl for the first time though at the time of writing they have already sold out.
Thug also made a Slime Season bundle available which features alternative artwork for Slime Season 3.
It’s the rare bit of positive news for the Atlanta rapper who has endured a tumultuous week after several phone calls he had while in jail were leaked to the media.

Thug was forced to apologize to his girlfriend, Mariah the Scientist, after calls were leaked showing him talking about their relationship and also his dealings with other women.
In a post to X on Christmas Eve (December 24), the rapper wrote: “Sorry to my baby for all this bullshit on the internet. I love u baby and fuck em all we know what’s up with us!”
In one call that leaked this week, Thugger discussed how much Mariah loves him – to the point that it worries him.
“[She loves me] too much. Sometimes too much,” Thug said. “[It scares me how much] because it’s like man if I do something, if I smack something or something like that, you’d probably be devastated.”

He also admitted to calling at least 10 other women each time he hops on the phone, and at one point asked his friend to text another woman to get in touch with her.
In a second leaked video dating back to 2022, Thug is seen having an emotional conversation with boxer Devin Haney’s partner, Leena Sayed.
At one point during the call, Thug tells Sayed — who reportedly married Haney in 2023 and shares a child with the fighter — to move on and “find love,” indicating that they were romantically involved.

The Instagram model then sobs and replies: “Why would you say that? I don’t like anyone but you […] I want you.”
Sayed later clarified that the video was from before she met the world champion boxer.
