Young Thug “Hy!£UN35” Release Date Pushed Back

Young Thug says that his forthcoming album, Hy!£UN35has been pushed back from it’s original August 28 release date.

“It’s launching on I think September 24,” Young Thug says to Fuse at Lollapalooza, “but I don’t know. I might take it back because I got a couple new songs that I may wanna play for the label. All the songs are perfection.”

He also talks about his working relationship with fellow Atlanta rapper B.o.B. and the making of the “Halftime” video.

Young Thug is slated to release his debut album, Hy!£UN35, August 28, according to a press release from 300 Entertainment, the label to which he is signed.

“300 is proud to present Young Thug,” 300 Entertainment’s Lyor Cohen says in a press release. “We believe he is a unique artist who will have a special place in the future of Hip Hop.”

Last week, Young Thug released his Barter 6 mixtape.

The collection was originally titled Tha Carter 6, but the Atlanta rapper said he changed the title due to threats of a lawsuit for copyright infringement. He didn’t mention who threatened to sue, but Lil Wayne has been upset that Thugga has chosen to continue Tha Carter series he launched in 2004.

    1. “We believe he is a unique artist who will have a special place in the future of Hip Hop.” –> Unique he is, but Lyor must be smoking some potent stuff to think this clown has a “special” place in the future of hip hop.

    3. I hope some of you realize what label he’s signed to. It’s not Cash Money, but rather the label Jay-Z’s right hand mand started when he left the traditional labels to do his own thing with the streaming companies, so I hope you direct as much venom toward him as you have toward Birdman.

      1. Bro nobody in the music industry like Lyor Cohen. You act like people on here are praising him. And Lyor doesn’t publicly promote Young Thug like Birdman does which is why there’s dislike directed towards Baby. Do you really not understand this?

    4. Wow I’ve never seen so many haters in my life. wtf are you wasting your time commenting if you your gonna say some gay ass shit, you fuckin hypocrites. Thug has made some of the best music within the last year. Next to drake hes got the best replay value. If you don’t see it then you have no common sense and are just a hater so slap yourself!

      1. Hi, stanley. You’re wrong. Young Thug made some of worst music within the last year. He can’t rap and he sure as hell can’t sing. His shit (along with Drake) has no replay value. Young Thug is the epitome of trash.

      2. Nope, drake and young thug aren’t the eptiome of trash. That’s eminem and his old washed up man, dr gay.

      3. You got everything wrong, Dan. Eminem and Dre aren’t trash, that’s gay ass Young Thug and Drake’s gay singing ass.
