Young Thug is currently in custody as the YSL RICO trial is still in progress, but that hasn’t stopped his father from going out and having a good time.
On Tuesday (June 11), Gunna performed at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia to a packed audience as part of his Bittersweet Tour with Flo Milli.
Even though the 30-year-old rapper has been repeatedly accused of snitching after he took a plea deal in the case mentioned above, Thugger’s father doesn’t seem to share those sentiments, as he was spotted in the crowd of the sold-out show.
In addition to dancing right in front of the stage, Jeffrey Williams Sr. also linked up with the “fukumean” hitmaker at the concert.
Last year, Wiliams set the record straight about whether or not Gunna’s plea deal hurt his son’s defense in the ongoing court proceedings.
“I love Gunna,” he said on Infamous Sylvia’s radio show back in September. “Let me try to help the attorney clarify that a little simpler. Gunna hasn’t done anything whatsoever that can hurt us on this case. Period.”
When asked about Lil Baby dissing Gunna for taking a plea deal in the case, Big Jeff responded: “He needs to shut the fuck up because he doesn’t know what’s going on. He’s going off what he heard.
“Ask Lil Baby: has he ever come to a court date? That’s what I want y’all to ask these goddamn rappers and these bloggers with this old snitch shit. When have y’all went to a court date to support Slime, to support Jeffrey, to support Thug? However you wanna name him.”
He added: “Go on their social media pages and say, ‘Why in the fuck haven’t you been to the courthouse to support your dude?’ And I guarantee you won’t get an answer. So that’s how I feel. Everybody that hasn’t been there needs to shut the fuck up about Gunna.”
WTF was dude wearing?
RIP DMX. You are sorely missed.
Tell me you don’t know hip-hop without telling me you dont know hip-hop. go watch the Outkast – B.O.B video.
Tell me you don’t know hip-hop without telling me you don’t know hip-hop by indirectly comparing Gunna to the legendary ATLiens. By comparing a mumble mf’er to top tier emcees. To a duo-inspired by George Clinton and Prince to a mid-imum mf’er like a Young Thug hypeman who probably can’t mention a single George Clinton or Prince song. Don’t compare ahistoric zestiness to a straight throughline of Black music and culture. Smmfh.
If I was in jail looking at 120 yrs and my pops went to see one of the dudes that snitched, o hell no?!
