Young Thug has taken issue with Billboard‘s list of the best female rappers of all time due to the omission of one particular artist.
The ranking, which was topped by Nicki Minaj, has sparked fervent debates onlines since it was published earlier this week, with Thugger now jumping into the conversation.

Responding to the list being posted on social media on Wednesday (April 9), the Atlanta rapper questioned why his girlfriend Mariah The Scientist was not included.
“Where Mariah at tho [thinking face emoji],” he wrote in a comment on Akademiks‘ Instagram page.
In addition to being topped by Minaj, other rappers to feature on the 25-strong list included Lauryn Hill, Missy Elliott, Lil Kim, Queen Latifah and Foxy Brown.
There was also space for the likes of Eve, Remy Ma and Rapsody, as well as newer stars such as Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, GloRilla, Doechii and Latto.

Young Thug publicly speaking up for his girlfriend may have something to do with the slight turbulence in their relationship surrounding him talking to other women while in jail.
In one jail call that leaked in December, the YSL rapper admitted to speaking to “at least 10 other girls when I get on the phone just to kill time.”
He also admitted in that same conversation that he feels Mariah loves him “too much,” to the point he’s scared of doing something to “devastate” her.
After the leak, Thugger issued a public apology to his “Walked In” collaborator on social media.

The couple have dated since at least 2021 and Mariah stood by Thug during his lengthy legal battle after he was hit with RICO charges in 2022.
