YG is officially off the hook after being hit with a misdemeanor DUI in the Los Angeles suburb of Burbank back in October.

On Wednesday (February 5), TMZ confirmed that the Burbank City Attorney’s Office has rejected the case due to insufficient evidence.

The rapper’s attorney Joe Tacopina – who is also representing A$AP Rocky in his current gun case – told the outlet the case was dismissed primarily because YG was not in his car when police pulled up on him.

The “Big Bank” rapper had been spotted by cops in the early hours of October 1 after he’d accidentally driven over a curb. They found him standing outside of his car, and though they did not administer a breathalyzer test, cops did take a blood sample.

He was then booked for the misdemeanor DUI.

In other news, YG along with Freddie Gibbs and WWE star CM Punk are among the names tapped to appear in the forthcoming indie horror film Night Patrol.

According to a Hollywood Reporter article published in October, Justin Long, Jermaine Fowler and RJ Cyler will star in the Ryan Prows-directed flick, due out later this year.

Per the description, “LAPD officer (Fowler) must put aside his differences with the area’s street gangs when he discovers a local police task force is harboring a horrific secret that endangers the residents of the housing projects he grew up in.”

This won’t be the first acting project for either rapper.

Most recently, Gibbs starred in the critically acclaimed film Down With The King in the role of Money Merc, who heads to a rural community in Berkshires, Massachusetts to record his next album.

YG has also made several appearances in film and TV, including starring in and directing his own short film for his 2014 album, Blame It On The Streets.

The Compton native has also expanded his business portfolio and recently launched a male enhancement product named Cherry Bomb.
