Yelawolf Performs Only 1 Song At Sold-Out Minneapolis Show

Yelawolf fans at Minneapolis, Minnesota’s Skyway Theatre were left in a state of confusion on Saturday (December 2), when the Alabama rapper only performed one song and then dipped from a sold-out show he was headlining, according to TwinCitiesMedia.

The day after his abrupt departure from the stage, Yelawolf’s official Twitter account issued a statement about the disruption, blaming exhaustion and announcing that the Minneapolis show would be rescheduled.

“Unfortunately, after taking the stage last night, YelaWolf was forced to leave the stage due to exhaustion. He is currently resting and apologies to the fans for not being able to finish the show. The Minneapolis show will be rescheduled soon,” the tweet reads.

This isn’t the first time Yelawolf has had issues on stage. Just over a year ago, footage surfaced of Yela destroying stage equipment and fighting with a fan during his Trial By Fire Tour, which was eventually cut short.

Yelawolf is nearing the end of an extensive U.S. tour supporting his new Trial By Fire album and is currently scheduled to perform in Des Moines, Iowa on Monday (December 4).

    1. People pay all this money and these mofo’s can’t stay sober for a couple hours. Have a glass and smoke a blunt….don’t overdue it.

    2. man that’s so disrespectful to your fans.. artists that are not grateful to their fans and supporters can seriously fuck off. depression is real but when you’re at that point and have a show that’s started you fucking pull through it at that point. no matter if it turns out to be a shit show, at least you did everything you possibly could.. fuck yelawolf for this.

    3. Man life of a musician musy be hard huh? To think i did carpentry work.and labor for a decade and NEVER left for the day due to exhaustion woulda been shitcanned or customers woulda dropped my ass….man being a celebrity must be so hard… like a buncha adult children need some naptime now huh?

      1. Yeah, because fuck sleep, right? Fuck having your batteries recharged and staying healthy. Sleep is for wimps and pussies. Us grouchy men are the toughest.

      2. You prob weren’t partying every night before and after work tho haha I’ve been hearing he turns up out in the town before and after every show. That’s the lifestyle that would cause exhaustion. Party , Perform, Party, Travel, Party, Perform, Party….

    4. My G do what you need to to keep it together. You a dope artist. We don’t fall off just may need to fall back for a sec. Get the noodle and spirit straight. Peace be upon you.

      1. He looked sort of a mess when I saw him the night after the Minneapolis show @ the mall of America. He’s def not someone who cares about looking like a rockstar or fitting that image. Nobody knew who he was at the mall. He was totally unbothered. I only recognized him because I knew he was in town and I saw the gun tattoo on his neck haha that and the snakeskin cowboy boots he had on.

    5. im a huge yelawolf fan, but i find it fucking hilarious that he thinks he is such a f*cking rockstar yet he can’t finish a show cause he had a joint and a shot of whiskey before..
The people he looks up to, the rockstars of the 80’s, that can’t remember touring for 10 years cause they were so fucked up on heroin and booze, would never have stopped a show early. they would have done a shitty show, but never stepped off stage after only 1 song.

    6. I met YelaWolf the night before in Milwaukee at a Meet & Greet with 12 other people in the line. Shook his hand, picture with him, signed autograph, all cool etc. Except dude never said one word to me after I initiated a conversation. Don’t know why it bothers me so much, but still glad I got to meet him and watch a great show by Yela in Milwaukee that night, and I avoided going instead to Minneapolis the next night. Both cities are both 3 hours away for me so I got lucky and went the right night. Per 2 guys I talked to that met up with Yela before the Milwaukee show he drank before the Meet & Greet, during the M&G (as I saw with my own eyes), & got drunk after the M&G at the nearby dive bar before the show that started late. Yela had plans to go back to the dive bar after the show but I don’t know if he did – explains a lot I guess. Dude is so talented but needs to dial the partying down some.

    7. More than half the people in these comments are a waste of damn space on this planet, you know yelawolf didn’t even want to continue performing? Like at all? Have you met the dude? I have. It ain’t the fact he thinks he’s the shit it’s the fact he doesn’t want to be the shit. He wants to go back to his roots and have a good time with the rest of his life. He’s on a 4 album contact with shady records whether or not he gives us 1 more album or not is a big iffy trial by fire was supposed to be cancelled but was forced to get produced so he took his time on it to make it how he wanted and shady let that fly.

    8. Haha I didn’t go to the show it was sold out. I am a fan tho. I saw him the night after the show at the mall of America walking with his fiancé or wife Fefe Dobson doing some shopping. He looked just fine. I was expecting more of a “presence” about him but he blended in with everyone else at the mall and nobody knew who he was. Seemed like just another average dude except for his extensive neck tattoos and the snakeskin cowboy boots he had on lol I hope he was genuinely ill and he didn’t stiff his fans due to being moody. He looked kind of unapproachable at the mall, he didn’t seem like a happy dude really. He was just walking around with Fefe talking on his phone. I didn’t say anything to him but I got a few videos for my Snapchat!
