XXXTENTACION‘s son’s mother, Jenesis Sanchez, is celebrating that after nearly five years, a verdict has finally been reached in X’s murder case.

Jenesis took to social media with her thoughts on Monday (March 20), following a guilty verdict being handed down for the three men standing trial for the late rapper’s murder.

“After 5 long years you may finally rest in peace,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “[Our four-year-old son] Gekyume will never get to meet you earthside but it is my job as a mother to ensure I share those special memories with him.”

She continued: “Jah was robbed of his life and Geky was robbed of his father. For this, I will never truly have complete peace but justice being served today helps the healing process.”

She then addressed X’s fans and thanked them for always being there.

“Thank you for the love and support. I am eternally grateful for all of the supporters, your positivity, and prayers have carried these last 5 years.”

XXXTENTACION’s mother, Cleopatra Bernard, also shared a few words following the verdict.

“You finally got justice Jah,” she wrote with a photo of her son.

In a second story, she added, “I made sure you were present in the room,” with a selfie showing herself wearing a shirt with X’s face on it.
