New Footage Shows XXXTENTACION Withdrawing $50K On Day Of His Murder

The XXXTENTACION murder trial is currently under way, and new footage of some of the late artist’s last moments has surfaced after being shown in the courtroom.

A short video clip shows X withdrawing $50,000 from the bank in seemingly high spirits on June 18, 2018 – the same day he would ultimately be killed. The teller retrieved the money and X put it in his Louis Vuitton bag, which is the same bag he was robbed of when he was shot and killed later that day while leaving Riva Motorsports.

The bank teller from the transaction took the stand on Tuesday (February 7), and was asked about X’s demeanor during their interaction.

“He was fine. He seemed happy,” Cecilia Ramos said.

Three out of the four alleged co-defendants, Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Devonshay Williams and Trayvon Newsome, are standing trial.

If convicted, the three suspects could face life in prison. Authorities believe Boatwright was the assailant who ultimately fired the fatal shots at XXXTENTACION. The four co-defendants, which includes another man named Robert Allen, were arrested soon after and hit with first-degree murder and armed robbery with a firearm charges.

You can view footage from the entire first day below.

Allen pleaded guilty to second-degree murder charges in August 2022 and is expected to testify against his accomplices in hopes of a lighter sentence.

“[Allen] pleaded guilty to a lesser included offense of second-degree murder and robbery with a firearm. He still faces a life sentence. Obviously, we are hoping for better than that. But his sentence is deferred and it is likely he will be called as a witness in the case against the other three co-defendants,” Allen’s attorney Jim Lewis explained.

“Mr. Allen’s role was much less than the other three involved. It was always kind of contemplated that the State was looking to use him as a witness in the case.”

The trial is expected to go on for about a month.

    1. so fucking drake eh. xxx was on the way to bigger things but some moron decided it was time to end him. 50k cash a mcclaren i believe oh man he was going to live it. his music was on a bit of an abstract note but people loved it. nah this is so fucked up homey.

    2. sad either way.. but who’s advising (or not advising) some of these young dudes. one of the main points of using a bank at all is NOT to have to handle large amounts of cash like this yourself. if he was gonna use this $ to buy the bike or ATV, there’s other options (certified/bank checks, financing) to not have to be driving and moving around with the huge liability of having that much cash on you, driving around in an expensive car, the whole time with no security, and in a state like FL where anyone could be carrying. RIP to the dude but this easily coulda been avoided.

      1. These dudes are idiots. They wanna flex so badly that they do dumb shut like taking $50,000 in cash out of the bank. All that does is make you a target. Worse off is they often announce that they’re carrying this sort of cash. Just pure ignorance!

    3. Too much victim shaming in the black community. Oh he shouldn’t have withdrawn that much money, he knew better… even if its true is sad. Rich people of all races dont get robbed everyday and murdered for cash, but when they do yall gonna say they shouldn’t have done it… we should really be saying these dudes need not murder.

      1. it aint even “victim shaming” or blaming per se.. of course its sad either way. if you’re flashing an expensive car and/or jewelry, fancy name brand purses/men’s “purses,” and you’re seen coming out of a bank (if thats what happened), especially if they saw him taking $ out… add to it if you’re famous (not sure if the dudes that got him knew who he was, but either way he stood out)… and you’re rolling around like that not only without security, but solo? all that can make you a target, no matter what demographic you’re around, if you’re at the wrong place and time. if there’s anything that can be learned from stories like his, Pop Smoke, and PnB, its be careful, move smart.
