Rapper X-Raided was detained by prison officials and questioned after videos of him in his prison cell were posted to YouTube.
According to AHH, the MC, whose real name is Anerae Brown, was visiting with his family last weekend when police handcuffed him and interrogated him alongside his cellmate, “Birdie Loc” O’Reilly, about the videos’ origins.
The clips were intended to promote X-Raided’s latest, The Unforgiven Vol. 3: Vindication. Both inmates denied any involvement in filming the videos.
“Nothing nefarious is going on here, on either end. The videos weren’t recorded at High Desert State Prison, regardless of how they’re labeled on YouTube,” said X-Raided. “That was an error on the part of someone on my staff who meant well. No one at this institution has either helped or allowed me to do anything outside of what any other inmate is allowed to do in accordance with the rules and regulations.”
X-Raided is currently serving a 31-year prison sentence for the 1992 murder of the mother of a rival gang member.
pharoahe monch once asked, “How many niggaz who will actually kill still rhymin?
How many niggaz who are actually signed still killin?”
The answer?? That Guy!! (X-Raided
If the question is how many, then “That Guy” aint the answer
He killed somebodies mother? FUCK HIM!!
I agree.
You believe everything the police say? I guess you never considered that they might not have gotten the right guy. Police always do the right thing, right?
Truth is, there were at least 10 people there that night and only one of them spoke to police. That one person was 15 and took a deal to be tried as a minor if he named names. He only knew 4 of their names so the rest walked away clean. And that kid who spoke testified that he wasn’t in the house when the shot was fired. And since nobody else talked, how is there any proof it was X? They threw the case at 4 guys and it stuck to X because he was the famous one. They used his lyrics against him on trial. The D.A. resigned shortly after the conviction after being caught w/ child porn. There are loose strings all over the place.
X-Raided did not murder her and he’s served enough time for this accusation.
Free X-Raided
(shaking my head at the previous comments)
(shrugging shoulders)
I can’t add anything else to those words. They said enough truthfully.
(continues to listen to “Return of The Boom Bap”)
dude you keep writing plays, you should change your name to shakespeare
X-raided had a gun pointed to his temple on his album cover (psycho active)…that gun was supposedly used in the murder. So they got x on that. He probably said it was his fault for doin somethin that dumb. So he took the wrap cause it was his fault for usin that gun on an album cover.
The only truth in your post is that the cover of Psycho Active included a picture of X-Raided holding a gun to his head. The rest of what you said are rumors. There’s no way to tell that the same gun was used in the murder. Maybe the same model but do you see serial numbers on the Psycho Active cover? Do you think Anerae Brown had a gun registered in his name at age 17? No.
And he didn’t say it was his fault at all. He only ever admitted that he was present at the time of the murder but always maintained that he didn’t do it. For over 20 years he’s held to that. The facts of the case are that at least 6 people who could’ve been the murderer got away clean because the only person who talked didn’t know their names. It’s a faulty case and X has served his time.
He’s up for parole in 2014 and will breathe free air before his 40th birthday.
to filthy rich…learn to read. thats why i used words like supposedly in my sentence. And they probably matched balistics with the type of gun…same. So it was pretty dumb on his part no matter how you put it. I dont know if x-raided did it…but he aint no snitch. I like x so i hope he didnt and i hope he gets out. But him doin stuff like this and gettin caught wont help him. He needs to chill lol
I can read folks and what I read was you spreading rumors. You didn’t say that you believed them but the words still touched the page and probably entered someone else’s consciousness in a place where such thoughts hadn’t existed. It’s my job to run damage control when things like that are said, nothing personal.
