Teams from London(United Kingdom), Melbourne (Australia), Toronto, Los Angeles, Detroit, Atlanta, Houston and New York gather in New York City for the World Rap Championships finals.
The finals, taking place in an undisclosed location, are the climax to the 3 month regular season. The winning team will walk away with $50,000 and championship rings.
The finals will be broadcast exclusively online on www.jumpoff.tv. The format of the competition is a 2-on-2 tag team format. This is the World Rap Championships’ second season, but it has already amassed an audience of 500,000.
In addition to stats for each participating emcee, there is a fantasy league for fans and a weekly Sports Center-style review show.

comes as a breath of fresh air for anyone into the craft of lyricism and gives
the MCs exposure in markets they never knew existed”
said Harold Anthony, the formats’ producer.
