Wiz Khalifa has been arrest for drug possession after a live show, according to various sources.
Khalifa’s show took place at East Carolina University in Greensville, North Carolina.
The Pittsburgh rapper’s tour bus was reportedly raided, which apparently resulted in authorities finding marijuana.

UPDATE: Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa was released on a $300,000 bond yesterday morning after being charged with three drug counts. Wiz reacted to his night in jail via Twitter upon his release.

So yes possession of marijuana is indeed illegal but that does not make it a universal wrong. That is your opinion, not fact.

Wiz is an adult and knows that his actions are illegal. Regardless of how law enforcement obtain the weed, if Wiz wasnt breaking the law he wouldnt be in this situation.

The question then becomes what in fact warranted the search of his tour bus. We will probably never know the real reason, but I suspect it has something to do with the nature of many of his songs (i.e. a preponderance of drug references throughout). If that is the case, the search and seizure of his belongings was a violation of his constitutional rights, namely to free speech as well as the requirement of probable cause before a search can be conducted.
Although the subsequent discovery of illegal drugs will probably negate any discussion of what comprises probable cause and a legal search and seizure by police.
