Winner Announced For HipHopDX’s Danny Brown Sample Anything Remix Contest

    After its announcement back in September, a winner has been chosen for the Danny Brown Sample Anything Remix contest presented by Legitmix, Fools Gold and TDK Life On Record.

    PaperToy, a 23-year-old producer hailing from Sydney, Australia, has wont he contest with his take on Danny Brown’s single “Grown Up.” His winning entry can be heard here and his Soundcloud can be accessed here.

    As part of winning first prize, PaperToy receives a TDK 3 Speaker Boombox, an autographed copy of Danny Brown’s XXX double-LP and a Fool’s Gold Prize Pack.

    Fans were asked to put a spin on Danny Brown’s “Grown Up” by putting a sample-based beat under the “Grown Up” acapella.
