Westside Gunn has gotten into a Twitter spat with a producer over a payment dispute.

The back-and-forth began when Ewonee — a beat-maker from Mount Vernon, New York — asked where to send his invoice for Griselda artist Estee Nack’s “MINIMANSIONBARTEL” in response to a tweet that claimed Gunn was “paying his producers very well.”

The Griselda honcho didn’t take too kindly to Ewonee’s tweet and replied by saying he was “burning bridges” by calling him out online, while also claiming that Estee Nack gave him the impression that the beat had been cleared.

“U see ladies &gentlemen this how u burn bridges,” Gunn wrote. “when I clearly never heard of this man Estee made a record and sent it to me I loved it gave him props asked was everything good I got the thumb up so now u wanna discredit the one who’s goes to bat for all of us to shine and eat.

“U could’ve came to me if u had a problem homie that’s it!!! But to act like a N-gga playing u naaah that’s not culture G especially with me that’s wild disrespectful when all I want is u to shine.”

He added: “This is exactly why I don’t like fuckin wIth NOBODY that’s not my team bc MFs lack vision so from now don’t nobody send me another beat, I’ll call y’all don’t call me.”

Ewonee then responded to Westside Gunn, claiming he was unaware his beat was used for Estee Nack’s song — which appears on his recently released project Nacksaw Jim Duggan — and didn’t receive credit.

“No ‘bridge’ was ever built,” he tweeted back. “I [wasn’t] even credited or made aware I was in that album until I reached out.”

Gunn then said he planned to remove the song from the project and advised the producer to “reach out” privately next time he has a complaint regarding his work.

“Don’t worry Bro it’s love I’m a just take that song off and replace it, we good!!!” he wrote. “Again next time just reach out to get whatever u need resolved bc a simple yo would’ve handled everything faster than u think and future opportunities and anybody else tell u diff don’t know shit.”

In a tweet separate to his conversation with Westside Gunn, Ewonee wrote: “Just remember who out here speaking up…this the not the first time this has happened over NOT GETTING CREDIT.”

Westside Gunn later claimed he’s always being made out to be the “bad guy,” but cited his success as the reason for the backlash.

“Im always the bad guy,” he said. “MFs start with me then I end up being the bully when all I do is get up take care of my family, change lives, try to be a better me, spread ART and Love, influence &don’t bother a soul, but then when I pop my shit I’m this and that. yea I’m the [goat].
