Waka Flocka has walked back his claim that he was jumped by 10 men after sharing a photo of himself beaten and bruised, and is now accusing fans and the media of being gullible and easily falling for “fake news.”

The Atlanta rapper first shared a post to Instagram in now what appears to have been specialty makeup, writing, “Can’t believe nobody helped me fight ten nixxas off but I’m still standing ten toes marks.”

Social media soon ran rampant with jokes, while outlets began reporting on the alleged beatdown. Hours later, he came back with a clean face on his Instagram Story and laughed as he told the camera, “Crazy y’all n-ggas believed that shit!”

He then took to X and said: “Internet be so quick to believe shit without doing any research [laughing emoji] too many ppl just proved how easy it is to believe #fakenews. Not a single media outlet that reported on my shit reached out to me or my team to confirm anything… they ran with a caption as they headline. Imagine a world where facts ain’t checked and a ig post can steer a string of #news.”

Taking a screenshot of his posts and sharing them to Instagram, Waka added in his caption: “Life can be a movie or a reality… all how you look at it.. remember do yo research [laughing emoji] confirm yo facts… most importantly dont let em manipulate… cause I just showed yall how easy it is to create a fake narrative outta a picture [laughing emojis] #flockfacts”

Fans in the comments weren’t having it, though.

“N-gga you posted it yourself,” one person said. Someone else wrote: “But YOU posted it, there was nothing to fact check if the SOURCE posted it.”

Even Uncle Murda chimed in, asking Waka Flocka: “Why you trolling my [ninja emoji]?”

In other news, Waka was discovered to not even be registered to vote following his endorsement of Donald Trump.

On November 1, the Atlanta rapper took to X to show his support for the MAGA leader, writing, “Trump for president!!!!!! Let’s Go!!!!!”

Two days later, an X user at the handle @LadyJMillzz promptly called him out after checking Waka’s voter status on the website Did My Friends Vote.

“Well, isn’t THIS interesting!” she wrote with a screenshot showing the “No Hands” rapper has never actually voted. “You’re registered but have never voted before, including for your precious Rotting Sweet Potato. Get in the booth or stfu.”
