Waka Flocka Flame has voiced his frustrations over his hit single “No Hands” being shut out by the Grammy Awards a decade after its release.

The Atlanta rapper took to Twitter on Sunday (April 23) to question why his 2010 anthem alongside Wale and Roscoe Dash was snubbed of any sort of consideration by the Recording Academy.

“How did i not get a grammy for no hands,” he wrote.

One fan responded trying to come up with an answer: “You had some major competition drop in 2010. I mean run This Town won in 2010 and then 2011 was kanye’s all of the lights, that’s hard to win over either those records.”

Others gave the Georgia-bred rhymer his flowers. “Idk but y’all had us in chokehold when it came out,” one person wrote, while another added: “Idk but it blew out my 12[inch] sub in high school.”

Produced by Drumma Boy, “No Hands” was released in August 2010 and is currently 3x platinum, but hasn’t had its certifications updated by the RIAA since February 2013.

The party-starting 2010 single topped the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart and reached No. 13 on the Hot 100. The official music video boasts over 97 million views on YouTube as of press time.

Since “No Hands” was released prior to September, the track would have been eligible for the 2011 Grammy Awards where JAY-Z and Alicia Keys’ 2009 “Empire State of Mind” took home Best Rap Song honors at the award show.

Other songs featured in the stacked category Waka would’ve had to beat out included Eminem and Rihanna’s “Love the Way You Lie,” Eminem’s “Not Afraid,” B.o.B’s “Nothin’ On You” and Hov’s “On to the Next One.”

“No Hands” ultimately landed on Waka Flocka Flame’s Flockaveli debut album in October 2010, which debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 and also features standout cuts such as “Hard In Da Paint” and “Grove St. Party.”

However, Waka would’ve had his hands full trying to snatch a Best Rap Album nod as well since Kanye West’s critically-acclaimed My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy won the trophy at the 2012 Grammys.
