Usher was among the many stars to make an appearance at Balenciaga’s 2024 summer show, but he also made it on the shortlist of celebrities getting dragged for their outfits.
On Sunday (October 1), the fashion house hosted its seasonal event in Paris, France, bringing together a number of famous names from across the world. Usher showed up to the gathering in a tough-to-describe fit, and people online had a field day with it.
One user shared the photos and wrote: “I know you made ALOT of confessions in yo life time but let me confess to you my boi THIS SH*T AINT NOTHIN MCMUFFIN [weeping emoji]. You make me wanna whoop yo ass [musical-notes emoji] oooo weeee . Shawty went paper snowflake cut stocking on the face and Mickey Mouse white gloves [crying laughing emoji]. They should LET YOU AND IT BURN right on in a dumpster.”
Another person commented on the post: “Don’t Know where the shoe ends and the pants start.”
Usher is currently in the midst of an eight-day residency in Paris, during which he surprised the crowd with an appearance from Offset.
The former Migos rapper popped up at La Seine Musicale on Sunday (October 1) while he was in town for Paris Fashion Week. The R&B icon even posted a clip of the cameo afterwards, captioning it, “We from the SOUTH yeah THAT WAY.”
In other news, Usher is reportedly planning on bringing some of Atlanta’s esteemed strip club culture with him to Super Bowl LVIII next year. According to Page Six, fans can expect plenty of exotic dancers and pole dancers — a staple of Usher’s Las Vegas residency — during his recently confirmed gig in Sin City.
The Confessions crooner will reportedly incorporate the dancers in a “tasteful” way given the younger viewers who will be tuning in. A roller-skating routine is also expected to be part of the show, adding more ATL flavor to the spectacle.
“Usher plans on having… pole dancers — dressed in a tasteful manner, of course as well as dancers on roller skates,” a source relayed. “He is definitely keeping in mind that his younger fans will be watching.”
