Upcoming Album Releases

    Slum Village will be releasing their follow up to “Fantastic Vol.2” on July 30th with “Trinity.” So when you see another Slum Village album in stores next week, don’t think that you have been deceived. A compilation called “Dirty District” dedicated to upcoming Detroit emcees is what you will see. The album features the likes of Slum Village, Elzhi, Phat Kat, Lo Louis, Ten Speed and 3582. The Alchemist makes a production appearance.

    Back in 95/96 Pete Rock made an album with Grap Luva and Rob-O called It was shelved because his label didn’t know how to promote it, of course some bootlegs floated around for years. Now the classic album is available to all, said to be one of Pete Rock’s best production efforts, I.N.I. is available through Soul Brother Records.

    Eve is looking to expand on last year’s success with her third album “Eve-Olution.” The album is due out on August 6th on Ruff Ryders/Interscope. The first single will be “Gangsta Love” with Alicia Keys.
