Tyrese has gotten into it with Joe Budden‘s podcast co-host QueenzFlip over the “disrespect” he believes was shown towards him.

Taking to Instagram on Friday (November 24), Tyrese called out the podcaster by name for cracking jokes about his divorce, among other things, while accusing him of ducking his phone calls.

“I got n-ggas hitting my phone talking about, ever since the interview aired, they’ve been coming at me, disrespecting me, taking shots at me, talking about my marriage, talking about whatever,” he began, referencing his recent appearance on The Joe Budden Podcast.

“The crazy shit for me is, I heard rumblings of n-ggas talking shit before I went on the podcast. They were like, ‘Yo, it’s n-ggas dedicating 15, 20 minutes every podcast, talking shit, beefing with The Rock, this and that.'”

He continued: “It ain’t really been Joe — it’s been this one particular dude on the show that’s been coming at me […] I’ve been trying to reach this dude and he ain’t been calling me back. I hit his phone, text him, call him. Like bruh, you going below the belt with some of this shit you saying.

“So if y’all know the dude that sits in the middle in the high chair, y’all let him know I’m trying to get at him […] I don’t run from no smoke.”

In response, QueenzFlip (whose real name is Trevor Robinson) fired back with a video of his own, which he also posted to Instagram on Friday.

“Yo Tyrese, I don’t know what’chu mad about. N-ggas don’t talk about you up here — at all,” he said. “You came up here, you was calm, you was nice. We like that. Now you on [Instagram] Live talking about ‘the n-gga in the high chair.’

“I don’t talk about you. Whatever old video you saw me talking about you is old. You be buggin.’ You was running around here acting like you want your marriage back. Come on, man. Go get a hobby or something.”

He continued: “We’re all gonna talk about you if you go on Live everyday talking about the same shit. Enough is enough […] Do something new. Ain’t you got a movie coming out? Transformers or Fast & Furious 13? Stop playing with me, man.”

In his caption, he added: “@tyrese KEEP MY NAME OUT YA MOUTH BRO!! I RESPECT YOU – GET A HOBBY BRO!! NO ONE TALKED ABOUT YOU – & IF I DID VIDEOS ARE OLD FOH – ADD ME ON @flipdanetwork.”

Tyrese’s interview with The Joe Budden Podcast went live on Friday. According to the podcast description, they talked about “the breakup of TGT, plans for his new album, marriage and divorce, dealing with his past” and more.

While this seems like an innocuous enough description, Tyrese afterwards claimed that the podcast hosts were trying to “hit him from all sides.”

“Off top shots fired ‘You ain’t here to try and do no boring ass breakfast club interview right,'” he wrote in a separate Instagram post on the same day. “Then with no hesitation this n-gha went right at me and accused me of breaking up TGT again.”

He continued: “When he said that the #TimesUp and #MeToo movement has just jumped from the MOVIE business to the MUSIC business damn…. That’s just wow…… They tried to hit me from all sides I stayed calm and stayed on course…. The raw uncomfortable truth will never change IDGAF what room I’m in.”

Joe Budden has not yet commented on the brewing controversy.

The rapper-turned-podcaster has been dealing with drama of his own of late after admitting he “took out” a segment from an earlier podcast episode about Cassie’s rape and abuse allegations against Diddy.

He did address the lawsuit (which has since been settled) in the episode, but skirted around saying anything direct about the former couple, instead commenting: “I don’t feel like I need to come in here and have word vomit about my discernment when it comes to evil shit in the industry.”

Though Budden received some backlash for the last-minute editing — including from former co-hosts Rory and Mal — he later explained that he had his own reasons for avoiding the topic.

“I did it for legal reasons,” he said. “I did it for a myriad of reasons. But first and foremost, the legal portion … y’all ain’t ’bout to clip me up or clip us up or clip this set up and just attach it to whatever story and narrative you wanna attach it to.”

He continued: “I been on this here internet a long time before some of y’all was born out there. I know how it goes, and I know how the blog sites work on a slow weekend. I know what they do from experience because they mostly use me to do it. I don’t be trying to give them nothing.”
