Tyler, The Creator celebrated the end of the year by revealing to fans his favorite songs of 2024.
Popping up on X (formerly Twitter) a few hours before midnight, Tyler listed 15 tracks that stood out for him across the last twelve months.
Included on the list was “GNX” by Kendrick Lamar, “Hollon” by GloRilla and “Cooties” by ScHoolboy Q while there were also shoutouts for “Dominican Barber” by Lupe Fiasco, “Green Therapy” from Tommy Richman and Knxwledge’s “uaintfrmhere”.
Tyler also included his own song “Judge Judy” on the list while he also selected songs from David Miller, Luh Tyler, Sahbabii, Tanya Blount, AZ Chike, MK Gee and Ill Town Family.

He also said: “Thank you all for these songs I’m so grateful i get to hear them i love you i want to eat them broooooo.”

After one fan questioned why he put one of his own songs on the list, the Odd Future founder replied: “Yeah i like the music i make im confused on the question.”

Tyler ended 2024 by surprisingly dropping a remix of Kendrick Lamar’s “Hey Now” which he retitled “That Guy”.
The rapper shared the track on Christmas Day, responding to a fan who said: “I want @tylerthecreator to freestyle on Hey Now so bad.”
Tyler responded by saying “Merry christmas. had fun with it,” and posted a YouTube link to the remix which he has titled “That Guy”.
The “Earfquake” rapper used the song to reference his surprise appearance at Lamar’s immediately iconic Pop Out concert earlier this year.

Tyler also rhymed about the success of his latest album, Chromakopia: “300k in four days Chromakopia / 12 days gold I ain’t even drop deluxe one / Sold a million tickets first day for that new stage.”
The video for Tyler’s take on the track also featured appearances from his old Odd Future cohorts Jasper Dolphin, Travis “Taco” Bennett, and Lionel “L-Boy” Boyce.
