Tyler, The Creator Denies He’s Making A ‘Hebrew Jazz Funk’ Album

Tyler, The Creator has swiftly denied that he is working on a new “Hebrew jazz funk” album.

Speculation began running amok after Lil Yachty suggested on social media that Tyler was hard at work on a new experimental album.

He wrote on Instagram: “Tour is done, love you brother. Blessed to be apart. Let y’all in on a secret. Dat boi tyler workin on a hebrew jazz funk album shit gonna be tough..2026.”

In the comments, Tyler quickly confirmed that Yachty was just joking: “LMFAOOOO NO IM NOT DONT GET THESE GULLIBLE ASS FANS HOPES UP THESE N-GGAS STILL THINK A STICKY VIDEO IS COMING.”

Yachty recently praised Tyler for being one of his few mentors in the music industry.

On his Instagram, Yachty said of the Odd Future founder: “Last leg of this tour for me and I just want to take the time to thank you for your friendship, thanking you for giving me the praises i needed to push me on and holding me accountable when i do some / ignorant shit. All in all, i’m grateful.”

He added: “1 of the few mentors i have, always held me accountable, always challenged me,” wrote Yachty. “Forever grateful. Young men need mentors. Need a line of proper guidance. Thanks Tyyytyyy.”

Tyler also recently gave some insight into his creative philosophy.

He said to Zane Lowe: “People end up scared and not putting albums out for 15 years because they feel like they always have to — ‘I got to make the most innovative, best stuff.’ And sometimes, man, that song is good. Just put that bitch out. ‘Cause when n-ggas is 80 years old, you really think [you] about to sit here [with] all this great music on a hard drive, be like, ‘Oh fuck, it wasn’t…’ Fuck it, put it out.”

The “Sticky” rapper concluded by saying: “But the beauty in it is like my idea on that might change tomorrow. I might work on something new be like, ‘Oh, I gotta spend five years on this album and this bridge and get these strings right.’ But where I’m at now, I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I just wanna make stuff and put it out like when I was 17,’ ’cause that shit was just fun and free.”
