Trippie Redd has revealed that he is not actually a father after taking a DNA test.

Late last year, Trippie announced the cancelation of his Take Me Away Tour due to him welcoming a baby boy, but now it turns out the child is not his.

The Ohio rapper broke the news while speaking with DDG in a vlog uploaded to the latter’s YouTube channel.

While being given a tour of Trippie’s $13 million mansion, which is painted entirely black, DDG said to him: “I feel like we had a kid around the same time.”

Trippie then dropped the bombshell: “Bruh, I got a DNA test. I don’t even got a kid.”

He added: “I swear, bro. I thought I did, and then I told the world that. Like, ahead of time, I never got no DNA test. And I ended up getting a DNA test and it wasn’t my kid.”

The “Dark Knight Dummo” then revealed that he got the test done at the urging of his mother: “My mom was like, ‘Get a DNA test.’ You know how moms be. They be knowing. She was like, ‘Get a DNA test.'”

Trippie detailed the emotional toll of finding out the truth: “I feel like all the things I was going through during that time was like, really fucking with me. That’s why I couldn’t go on tour, or like, couldn’t do shows and shit.

“I couldn’t really get in my spunk and feel good and shit. It was a lot of shit going on. Just a lot of confusion. I mean, it’s life. A lot of shit just happens. Maybe it happened for a reason.”

When announcing that he was a father, Trippie Redd could not have sounded more excited.

“You guys have been talking about tour and why I canceled it. You want an explanation, so boom,” he said. “I’m dropping a project named Saint Michael, right? What if I was to tell you that’s my son’s name, and I canceled tour because I had to deliver my son?”

“Life be life-ing,” he added. “Y’all sitting there, bashing me, saying all this crazy stuff. And here I’m just bringing my child into the world, you know?”

He also posted a picture of the child and named a project after him.
