Trey Songz’ Gets Involved With Boys & Girls Clubs

    With so many jail stints, drug and gun charges and beefs in the news, this may seem different. Trey Songz’ It’s Cool to be Smart has recently gone out to support , an organization focused on helping teens. Songz has done this by performing for young folks selected from Boys and Girls Clubs around America. After each show, teens chosen to attend also get a chance to have a Q&A with Trey. The whole project is getting much praise from those involved.

    We wish there were more record executives like Mr. Margetson, who over the years has committed to making sure the artists support their communities and give back a portion of their time for the youth,” said Curtis B. who is the executive director of It’s Cool to be Smart via statement.

    This is still going on. According to a report, the tour, which features J. Holiday and Trey Songz is set to go through March.

    The It’s Cool to be Smart Music Mentor Program for girls adds that its goal is to “highlight a different side of the music industry that is available for our teen girls other than the images shown in music videos.
