Tray Deee Of Tha Eastsidaz Reacts To Chris Brown Gang Affiliation Rumors

With rumors and an investigation into the possibility that a shooting at Chris Brown’s pre-VMA party was gang related, Tray Deee of the Tha Eastsidaz reacted to Brown and other celebrities’ ad hoc gang affiliations in an interview with VladTV.

In August, Suge Knight was shot at the VMA party and TMZ reported that a police investigation was “interested in a common denominator [between] Chris Brown, Suge, and Game.” The same article cites eyewitness reports that Brown “was throwing up gang signs before the shooting…and he was performing with a red bandana.” In July, Brown posted a since-deleted video to his Instagram account showing himself throwing Fruit Town Piru gang signs.

Speaking with VladTV about the possible reasoning behind a celebrity musician like Chris Brown wanting to be affiliated with the set despite his wealth, Tray Dee offered, “It makes no sense to me.”

“I feel it has to either be a psychological defect to where you don’t wanna enjoy your life and enjoy your wealth and you know, ride around on boats and pop bottles, just live a stress-free life as far as attracting unwanted attention and aggression upon yourself,” he said. “Why would you wanna be rich and start fighting people? It makes no sense to me. I see it as the peer-pressure aspect is that, ‘Is this what you really want for yourself? Or do you feel that this is the only way that you’ll be secure in certain areas?’ So are you buying into it for protection? That’s the only logical conclusion that I can come to. I can’t see somebody waking up one day [and saying], ‘Okay, the Bentley’s in the driveway. Couple mill in the bank. Let me go to the hood and get shot at. Let me go stand on the corner and get shot at so people could say, “Oh, man that’s a tough guy.”’ People gon’ say you stupid as—you already know. So, I don’t get it.”

Offering his own stance on the celebrity affiliations, Tray Deee said “it don’t bother me” but went on to clarify that many don’t understand what the life entails.

“The only thing about it that bothers me is that they don’t know what they’re really getting into or could be getting into,” he said. “People make themselves targets. If you a person out there in the gang life that you really out there, about that life, dropping bodies, all that. You know they gonna be coming for you in a minute…You have guys out there on the hunt like that. They know their time is numbered, so it’s like, ‘Wait a minute, Chris Brown banging? I can go kill Chris Brown and my name gon’ live on forever.’ You just a strike. You not thinking about your family, you not thinking ahead. You can’t be thinking ahead wanting to be a grown man joining a gang and obligating yourself to a lifestyle that you really know nothing about and obligating yourself to people who wouldn’t give a damn about you if you was just Charlie Brown walking in off the streets.”

Addressing Suge Knight’s infamous history as a member of the Mob Piru Bloods, Deee spoke about the realities of walking away from gang life.

“You always gonna be a target from your enemies, former rivals, whatever,” he said. “Just because you feel like now, ‘Oh, I’m at the stage in my life where I’m not worried about that stuff anymore.’ Man, you killed my uncle dude? Damn where you at. I’m still looking for vengeance. On that note you always gonna be a target regardless. As far as being able to walk away and say you cool, that’s totally up to the homies. You have to been earned that much respect and regard as a real, real homie that put everything in that was expected of you and, ‘You wanna go this other direction in your life? Alright homie we support that. We love you. You ever need us it’s all good, we right here.’ But, you can’t just stick your toe in and then, ’Okay, that was enough for me.’ It’s enough when the homies say it’s enough.”

    1. “In July, Brown posted a since-deleted video to his Instagram account showing himself throwing Fruit Town Piru gang signs.”

It wasn’t Brown who posted and deleted that video, he’s not that dumb. It was actually Slowbucks who posted it and deleted it once TMZ and all the other big news websites started reporting it. Snitch nigga really trying to get cats locked up.

      1. Chris Brown was clearly throwing it up so that everyone in the club could see him in the VIP throwing signs.

Slow should have been more aware, but you can’t put the blame all on him. ..

    2. uptil I saw the draft 4 $4672 , I accept …that…my friend was like they say truley bringing in money in there spare time from there computar. . there dads buddy has done this for under eight months and just now took care of the mortgage on their cottage and purchased a new Ford . 3. Did HHDX ever report on Mitchy Slick getting busted a week or so ago? He had some very serious charges against him including human trafficking and kidnapping.

      1. No, they didn’t, for 2 reasons

        1. Mitchy Slick is hip hop so he doesn’t fit the current move to being “R&B-DX”

        2. Mitchy is a REAL gang banger who’s credentials have never been questioned, this site only reports on frauds like Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and Rick Ross

    4. Tray on of the realest niggas ever on the mic. All these weak ass niggas like brown just frontin n lookin for attention. Aint one nigga out there believin that chris bout that life lol so he need to kill that noise. Thats all the rap game is now is just fake ass, weak ass niggas fakin everythang.

      1. no you kill your own also at schools or at home the rather wipes out the entire family or the mother drowns the kids yeah we know

    5. I completely agree with this guy. Rappers like Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Game, etc. being so blatant about their gang affiliations is just beyond fucking retarded. Most people grow up to understand that bad shit can happen to anyone at any time and the best you can do is lower the probability that it happens to you. These guys all have families and fans, and are showing a tremendous lack of intelligence by overstepping their musician/entertainer roles and playing with fire.

      1. Gang affiliations are great for marketing yourself to the suburbs were sheltered teens are fascinated by negro criminals….chicks dig the outlaw thang too so an R&B thug can sell a bunch of albums to chicks without fathers. #TrueDat

        —–

Most street organizations are just drug gangs who will use celebrities to wash dirty money or offer protection…some go the extortion route, some are actual family and friends but it all ends the same. Huh? -Think-

        /\
        \/

You can align yourself with progressive organizations that have the best interest of your community at heart but that association won’t help you sell records to squares who value “street credibility” more than sensibility. (Speak on it)…

I was proud to see Jay Elec’ in that F.O.I uniform and all the conscious community come together in association with positive organizations even if only for a minute, hopefully we can see more unification and less division in the future…the Culture needs that.

        Hotep

      2. He still aint know the difference between Islam and fake muslims here. Between smart raps and pseudo-conscious bullshit his coked up played out hero jay electronica trying to push.
And making and selling thug music, its not only for those who loves it (what you gonna do? grownass mutherfucker calling out suburban kids lmao) its for people who can relate, motivates, not do that shit, but to get trough day if you got to do it.

      3. But Game been a blood before he became a rapper. So GAME situation is different from Chris Brown and Lil Wayne…. those dudes JOIN the gang when they were famous and rich.

      4. “Gang affiliations are great for marketing yourself to the suburbs were sheltered teens are fascinated by negro criminals….chicks dig the outlaw thang too so an R&B thug can sell a bunch of albums to chicks without fathers. #TrueDat”

        lmaoooooooo

but for real you ain’t even lying, them suburband kids love this gangsta shit more than niggas in the hood

      5. “But Game been a blood before he became a rapper. So GAME situation is different from Chris Brown and Lil Wayne…. those dudes JOIN the gang when they were famous and rich.”

nah son, numerous people have said in 03 at the In Da Club video shoot Game was repping CRIP

    6. tray a real nigga these guys fake flagging are just laughed at by everyone and the real crips n bloods would lay them out if they got the chance

    7. These singing cats have always tried to be as “hard” as the rappers. They are insecure. Like, ” just cause I sing don’t mean I’m soft. Don’t believe me, watch this..”

Now we just think you’re soft and stupid.

      1. singing ass niccas spend 40 hours a week rehearsing their dance moves then get to the club, put on a bandana and start throwing up gang signs

    8. we need to start calling out these frauds

kevin gates had some funny words to say about that fat C.O. nigga who lies in all his raps and interviews

    9. Tray Deee misses the mark in his criticism of both Suge and Chris Brown, today on HipHopDX. Although the reporter, Jay Balfour, put his spin on it, Tray said enough. For example, there’s the statement: “…Brown and other celebrities ad hoc gang affiliations…” Chris Brown is not responsible for any other person’s stand and to lump him in with others is to dilute Chris Brown. At another point in the article: “Brown was throwing up gang signs before the shooting [at the VMA party]…and he was performing with a red bandana. In July, Brown posted a since-deleted video to his Instagram account showing himself throwing Fruit Town Piru gang signs.” Deeee/Balfour is dissin’ Brown for being loyal. Loyalty is one of the 8 core dimensional moral events. For those who have been following Chris Brown check out my comment on “Talk Shit Get Shot” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sokdL-0iV9s to see that he touches at least 7 out of 8 moral events. Balfour/Deeeee goes into an incredibly nave rant which includes: Why would you wanna be rich and start fighting people?” Suffice it to say, Chris Brown has been a fighter all his life. What Deeeeeee/Balfour say later is insulting to say the least: The only thing about it that bothers me is that they dont know what theyre really getting into or could be getting into, he said. Once again Balfour/Deeeeeeee lumps Chris Brown in with a mythological group-celebrity. But this time he implies that Chris Brown is as clueless as he, Deeeeeeeee/Balfour, is. People make themselves targets. If you a person out there in the gang life that you really out there, about that life, dropping bodies, all that. You know they gonna be coming for you in a minute…You have guys out there on the hunt like that. They know their time is numbered, so its like, Wait a minute, Chris Brown banging? I can go kill Chris Brown and my name gon live on forever. You just a strike.” Obviously, Balfour/Deeeeeeeeee deny Brown touchin’ moral events numbers 6. Liberty and 8. Self Discipline. Chris Brown is True to the Game, he’s brave. “You not thinking about your family, you not thinking ahead.” This is Deeeeeeeeeeee/Balfour talkin’ shit to say anything about Chris Brown’s family. Balfour/Deeeeeeeeeeee wraps it up by stating: “You cant be thinking ahead wanting to be a grown man joining a gang and obligating yourself to a lifestyle that you really know nothing about and obligating yourself to people who wouldnt give a damn about you if you was just Charlie Brown walking in off the streets. The first part of that sentence violates Chris Brown’s 4. Authority by denying his 1. Care, 2. Fairness, 3. Loyalty, 5. Sanctity (Respect), 6. Liberty, 7. Honesty, and 8. Self Discipline. The last part of that sentence is just plain ignorant. The Red Bandanas, to borrow a phrase from Rick Ross, have Chris’s back, without a doubt, at least partly because Chris Brown doesn’t talk shit. Does Balfour/Deeeeeeeeeeeeee even know if Chris Brown “join” a gang or does he, as every other thinkin’ man, respect the Bloods. I don’t think Deeeeeeeeeeeeee/Balfour has the slightest clue about what the shit they’re talkin’.

    10. lol I legit thought this nigga died, shoutout to vlad’s instigating ass for giving him a lil shine

he’s speaking the truth tho, ever since like 2007, every person from every walk of life done took and ran with this bloods shit lmao

    11. The war against the Bloods (the Red Bandanas) continues. Check out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IktJW3a9HUI “…now the room was red.” The only Red in that music video is paired with death as in this video (Talk Shit – Get Shot). Also and this is the C.I.A. MK-Ultra Yale University John Kerry Skull and Bones Sub-Liminal Paired-Association (P.A.) Illuminati Programming — “room…red” sub-consciously is equivalent to “red room” even though the words are back-wards. As explained in the movie, THE SHINING (which is loaded with Illuminati cor-respondences (and/or P.A.)), “red room” back-wards is equivalent to “mur der.” Now take this to the next level. Both Eazy-E and Ice-T were more affiliated with The Crips rather than the Bloods and they were both Los Angeles/West Coast rappers. Both of them were/are/have been used without their knowledge by means of Trauma-Based dis-Associative (http://www.truthseekersvideo.com/articles/monarch_mind_control.php) Mind-Control to start a so-called “shoot on sight” war against the Bloods — Ice-T snared in New York as explained below or while in the Army and Eazy-E snared while at Ruthless Records. The Illuminati believe that because the Bloods have far less members than the Crips, the Bloods are the easiest group of Black men to wipe-out first — the so-called “divide and conquer” doctrine as described in STRATEGY by B.H.Liddell Hart. However, I love their music.
