Tracklisting Revealed To Nelly’s “5.0”, No More Notorious B.I.G. Feature?

November 16th will see the release of Nelly’s 5.0, Nelly’s sixth studio album and his first album in over two years. The title of the LP is apparently a reference to various things in The St. Louis emcee’s life. He explained 5.0 to Rap-Up.com like this, “It’s a lot of things. It’s also my fifth drop date. It’s just the energy of it all. [The Mustang] 5.0 was always one of my dream cars.”

The Derrty Entertainment CEO has been working on the record since 2009 and speculation abounded about what 5.0’s final track list would look like as well as who would be collaborating with the St. Lunatic this time out. Now those details have come to light and the guest list is impressive. The album will feature appearances by Birdman, DJ Khaled, Chris Brown, T.I., Plies, Diddy, Kelly Rowland, T-Pain and Akon.

The full length’s first single, “Just a Dream”, was released in August and peaked at number 7, Nelly’s highest placing single in 5 years. The record’s newest single, “Move That Body”, dropped last week and features Akon and T-Pain. (October 25)

      1. is that a diss 2 wayne haha poorly executed wayne is a beast sorry you didnt get the memo but anyways just a dream was a radio hit it may looking forward to hearing it

    1. Nelly stupid. He put that shitty ass rapper Birdman on but didn’t collaborate with the Bawse, one of the few rappers down south that’s lyrical. Bad move by this nigga.

      Bawse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    2. let’s see…`12 songs and 5 of them have guests…hmmm…WACKKK!!! Nelly couldn’t sellout a cafeteria concert! Dude is done…

    3. Back in 2000 I use to make fun of this guy for his whack ass “Shimmy Shimmy Coco Puff” lyrics, but in 2010, Nelly might as well be Rakim compared to these short bus rejects who rap now……SMH, at least we still have the underground

      1. Yeah…Nelly isn’t exactly superlyrical…but he beats the shit out of these new “rappers”. Maybe it will be half as good as Nellyville then it would be better than 89% of new rap these days…

    4. Yall know that Just A Dream is #3 on the hot 100 right now correct? Screw yall haters, while I agree that Birdman & Plies are some gay features, I think the album will still sell. Still, he should’ve replaced those 2 with Ross & Drake.

      1. ^^” Yall know that Just A Dream is #3 on the hot 100 right now correct?”

sells and pop charts proves if someone is actually talented how???

    5. Man this nelly charachter really needs to give it up he’s garbage always has been always will be still wit that bubble gum rap shit…gimmie a fuckin break…hang it up son!!

    6. The tracklist’s fake! it doesn’t have the song ‘Tippin in the club’ on it and Nelly was specific about that track appearing on his album.

    7. This album is going to be major, and it will definitely do great numbers. You people think Drake,Wayne, and Nicki help sale albums?LOL.
Nelly sold albums without ALL! of them on his albums=].
Just remember this is Nelly he is known to make great singles ALONE,so this album will be impressive.
Most of these songs are official, but a few are missing.
DERRTY ENT. WE ALL WE GOT!=]]

      1. MG are you fucking stupid? Wayne was nowhere on Country Grammar…not that you listened to it. I don’t think this release is going to be too big though; it’s a shame, Nelly has real talent, love his first 2 albums.

      2. nelly sucks equally as wayne for not having any bars at all. No subject matter just r&b songs. wayne sucks for having very weak bars and nonsensical shitty wordplay and then wanna call myself the best rapper alive behind that

      1. wayne sucks but nelly is bar 4 bar worser than wayne. Only thing nelly has over wayne is the ability to sing without auto-tune, but he did in that new song with akon and t-pain, FAIL!

    8. Live Tonight ft. Taraji Henson
Don’t It Feel Good (Dizzy) ft. T.I.
      1000 Stacks ft. Diddy n B.I.G

and usher, the dream and many more will be on these tracks.

    9. C’MON SON! GET THE FUCK UP OUTTA HERE WITH THAT BULL SHIT! AND SPEAKING OF BULLSHIT SOMEONE NEED TO JUST SLAP THE SHIT OUT OF SEAN COMBS FOR THIS ONE, LET BIGGIE REST IN PEACE! HE WOULD NEVER HAVE ROCKED WIT NO DAMN NELLY!

    10. This cd aint hiphop this is bulshit.Wow birdman well he sucks. And if biggie were alive well he vill probably shot him.Only good of feats are T.I

    11. This is a disgrace to put Biggie on a Nelly cd, if Biggie and Tupac were still alive today hip hop would be in much better condition. Nobody would’ve heard of Lil Wayne or Nelly or any other bad artist. Mainstream hip hop died on March 9th.

      1. ^^^@irvin are U fucking stupid nelly is a r&b singer more so than an actual rappper let alone a mc. If nelly the best, mc hammer and vanilla ice is the best cause the only way their the best is how they sold millions of albums off catchy songs and gimmicks that eventually died off. FYI hip hop (dope hip hop in the mainstrean) been dead BEFORE 2006. Hip hop was alive in 2003-2005?? w/ lil john & tha eastside boyz, ying yang twins, d4l, dem franchise boyz, t-pain, webbie, nelly himself, diddy, pretty ricky and chingy??……………yeah i rest my case.

    12. Who gives a shit??? Who listens to Nelly still? Also another Biggie verse being used on an album wit a nigga he’ll probably neva work wit or respect. This shit is goin double plastic.

    13. People on the internet are surprised at the Biggie feature…but “1000 Stacks” was released in November of 2009…it’s not that new of a song. It’s a great song, this going to be a great album. “5.0. NOVEMBER 16TH!!! And to all the haters…Nelly’s not just a rapper, he’s an ARTIST. You guys don’t know about music…you know about what song/artist is hot THIS week. The fans are the reason for the saying “Hip Hop is Dead”

      1. agreed. Is an artist. His versatility proves it. He doesnt get the credit that he deserves, I remember when he first came out and every body was laughing at him for rapping and singing but now everybody does it (Drake). And remind you that he never used auto-tune to do it (Kanye etc..). He’s done songs with artist like John Mayor (John Mayor folks!!!). Before Jay had him rockin on stage. He may not be real hip hop but thats not a bad thing he is in his own lane.

      2. Excuse me….

        [click, click] POW!

Rewind. Before I oned myself, I realized when the Hip Hop is dead argument gets pulled out, and it’s supposed savior is an artist named Nelly, with such visionary works of art such as the thought provoking “Shake Ya Tailfeather” and of course heart string pulling “Tip Drill,” I decided the only thing left is to end it all. Or maybe you should just stop smokin whatever bullshit you are smokin on. Meth is not a good look. Nelly’s an artist like a Tuesday day shift stripper is a dance student. GTFO.

      3. but hey, its gettin hot in here, so you should take your clothes off.
oh, and nelly made the whole durrttyy word man, you gotta respect his wide reaching creativity…rofl

    14. agreed. Is an artist. His versatility proves it. And remind you that he never used auto-tune to do it (Kanye etc..). He’s done songs with artist like John Mayor (John Mayor folks!!!). Before Jay had him rockin on stage. 15. Nelly is an artist. His versatility proves it. And remind you that he never used auto-tune to do it (Kanye etc..). He’s done songs with artist like John Mayor (John Mayor folks!!!). Before Jay had him rockin on stage. 16. I liked Nelly. When I was 15. But since aging a bit, my tolerance for bullshit pop rap sorta dried up. Fuck outta here with that. Diddy, BIG prolly wouldn’t work with Nelly if he dissed Kwame. Just sayin…

      1. Nelly hasns’t dissed anyone…He stays away from beef. Nelly “5.0” November 16th! No rapper can do what Nelly has done! 35 million+ records sold…insane! Ya’ll just can’t stand watching rappers succeed. This is why “hip hop is dead”…if it is “dead” its because of the fans.

      2. i agree… no rapper has done what nelly has done. dont hate… and you right hip hop is dead cuz of the fans… how you gonna like nelly when he came out and say its bullshit pop rap now…

      3. ye, nelly hasnt beafed with anyone, not even with chingy, krs, or luda, right? and there are people who have done more than what he has, most notably 2 artists who did double what he did without any bs singing on his album. and no, i will not take my clothes off.

      4. ROFL @ Anonymous. Hasn’t beefed with anyone huh? How about KRS back in 2002? And Sharpshooter mentioned Chingy and Ludacris.

“No rapper can do what Nelly has done! 35 million+ records sold…insane!”

Bwahahahahahahaha! I guess you never heard of Eminem who has 80 million+ sold. Your homeboy has A LOT of catching up to do. And I don’t really see that happening since hardly anybody cares about Nelly anymore.

        And @ tlacen:

Why does he call it “bullsh*t pop rap” now? Ooh…gee, I don’t know. Maybe because he matured unlike you?

      5. @ MG….That was one of the most ignorant comments ive heard. Maturity doesnt depend on what music u listen to…stuff like morales, life, growth does. I consider myself mature and i still like Nelly. As well as the Lupe’s, Mos Def’s etc…Music is just entertainment bro and doesnt determine where ppl are.

      6. Y’all r tasteless if y’all like Nelly. And don’t say Nelly is Hip Hop cuz Hip Hop and Rap r to different things. Hip Hop is not jus another element of the entertainment business, it’s more of a state of mind and lifestyle that somebody like AP wouldn’t be able to understand cuz he is obviously too stupid to understand the concept of maturity.

    17. stop hatin on Nelly, he really doesnt get the credit he deserves. He really started the rapping/singing thing and he never used auto-tune. So what if he is “pop” that doesnt negate the fact he has talent. His versatility puts him in his own lane. Who else does songs with John Mayor??

      1. Nelly was definitely NOT the first to sing while he rhymed, Method Man did it a lot years before Nelly was even a thought in the music industry, Buckshot from the BCC did it a hell of a lot more, Domino(from Long Beach) that was his whole gimmick as well. get your facts straight bruh. and for the record, all of the names mentioned are circa ’93. I never was diggin nelly like that, dude had 2 joints that I liked and that was it. C’mon son, you gotta research before you start talking that shit.

    18. Wow,nelly is just to much.when i dream is him,when i eat is him,when i breathe is him.i even dine and wine with him,OH what did i said?okay is just a dream

    19. Man this shit look wack, the nigga need to get the Bawse on it. Bawse hottest nigga in the south right now.

      Bawse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    20. he cant have big cuz he prolly didnt get the copyright or somethin lmfao but its not even cool to have a dead rapper from like over 10years on ur album i hate wen people try to do like feat.2pac,feat.biggie

    21. You listen to country Grammar now. You’ll be like “I listened to that?” Nelly had one decent album and sold big off of gimmicks and radio payola. Nelly fuckin sucks and should just stay his simple rhyming ass out the booth. His second album had 2-3 singles and no great songs, and his 3rd album no good songs and barely 1 single.

      1. Dillema was the biggest song of his career, how can you say “no great songs”…even if u didnt like it, the song was huge.

    22. Do you have multiple personalities, Anonymous, cause one minute you’re saying Nelly sucks, and the next nobody’s done what he has. About the only thing I’d credit Nelly for was that first album selling what it did.

      1. you a dumb ass, haha.

anytime you leave a comment without signing in a name it says anonymous.

for a guy who knows what multiple personalities are i’d assume you’d be somewhat web savvy

    23. What Nelly needs to Do:

      1. take the tracks with Baby, Khaled, Akon, T-Pain, Diddy, Yo Gotti and every other motherfucker on there off (exept for like Tip & Kelly Rowland for mainstream interest)

      2. Take Ali off that “Go” track and put it on the CD with just Talib

      3. Put that Avery track on the CD

      4. Throw a St. Lunatics track on the Bonus Tracks

      5. Make some god damn Solo songs

    24. How lame is DX to just cross shit out instead of deleting it altogether.

looks like a school girl put this shit together

    25. Country Grammar was classic…still one of my favorite albums of all time…he was on that singing/rapping before it became hugely popular…that album was so dope…

unfortunately he got less grimey after that album and I haven’t been able to enjoy any of it…track with Kweli is insteresting tho maybe he’ll go back to grimey on that

    26. Nelly has gone downhill recently, but he is still better than the likes of Kanye (who rips off everyone else’s ideas but is still innovative? wtf?), Lil wayne (tries to be a real rapper, but can’t rhyme), Jay-Z (still don’t know how he sells albums)…I grew up with 2Pac and Biggie, but I don’t think they would be considered as great if they hadn’t died. I miss creative lyrics, truly interesting double entendres, meanings within meanings…There is no intelligence in today’s rap and hip hop.
