Tour Stop: Slim Thug Reports To DX From St. Louis

    In the new HipHopDX series, “Tour Stops” Slim Thug [click to read] is reporting weekly from his present tour through the south and midwest. On a Koch Records radio and promo run for Boss of Bosses, the Houston rapper reached out en route from Missouri to Kansas yesterday.

    We was in St. Louis last night, had a good time. We went to Club Lush and kicked it with the [radio personalities] and we’ve been having fun. It was wild in the ‘Lou though. We didn’t really get to kick it all day; we just got there and go to see the club.” Adding his favorite attribute of the Gateway to the West, Thugga said, “There was a lot of pretty women.

    The rapper said that this was not city he performed in on this run, but rather focused on radio interviews and club appearances. “They want to know about the album, when’s it dropping, and how it’s different from [Already Platinum],” said Slim Thug on the questions he’s been asked most throughout this tour.

    Having toured nationally throughout his career, the rapper next spoke about the craziest experience that’s happened thus far on this run. Consulting with his management, the two revealed that their tour bus had an unfortunate turn of events. “We caught a flat tire with a  van full of bitches,” he recalled, reportedly leaving Chicago at the time.

    As far as his fan base and regional catalogue favorite in St. Louis, Slim Thug said, “It’s [‘I Run’] [click to listen] right now. All the [deejays] are tellin’ me that. Of course they’ve got their favorites like ‘I Ain’t Heard Of That’ [click to read] and ‘3 Kings’ [click to read] and stuff like that, but it’s the new song that [most] people are gravitating to when they hear it. They like it.
