Tory Lanez and Adin Ross have expressed their respect for one another in the past, and the pair are now preparing to jump on a call together that will mark the rapper’s first interview since being imprisoned.
During a Kick livestream on Wednesday (March 5), the internet personality announced that he will be hosting Tory on his channel for a virtual chat.

“Yo chat, by the way, free my dawg Tory, man,” he said. “Adin x Tory Lanez stream — it’s going to be a Zoom call, chat. He’s going to be in jail and I’m going to be at the warehouse. Zoom call, very, very soon.”

Tory Lanez previously sent Adin Ross a voice message from behind bars, which the streamer played on his Kick channel late last year.
Praising Ross, the Canadian rapper said: “Adin, my n-gga, I just wanna tell you thank you. You my favorite white boy, pause, my n-gga. I appreciate everything you been doing, my n-gga, showing me love. At such a young age, I’m happy to see what you doing.

“You getting that Kick money now. Make sure I get a couple million. As soon as I walk out of jail, we on top of the world. Second of all, my n-gga, I appreciate you for listening to the album and being a real n-gga. Stay safe.”
Ross has been a staunch supporter of Lanez, repeatedly calling for the rapper’s freedom throughout his trial for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in 2020, for which he was found guilty and sentenced to 10 years in prison.
In September, soon after the sentencing, Tory addressed his devoted fans in a phone call from prison that his team shared on social media.
“Ayo Umbrellas, what’s good, I’m talking to you live from prison right now,” he said. “Man. I’m just happy to get out of that county jail. They was hating on a young fly, you heard? Had me on 24-hour lockdown. Half-sized cell by myself. No windows, no mirrors. Ain’t even seen himself in a whole year, yo.

“But with all them disadvantages against me, my head is always been held high, man. And I want y’all to know that I’m in great spirits.”
The 31-year-old has repeatedly maintained his innocence and recently filed a new appeal over his sentence.
