TIP appeared on DJ Whoo Kid’s “The Whoolywood Shuffle” yesterday (October 12) and discussed politics. He shared his thoughts on Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.
“Not to be sexist, but I can’t vote for the leader of the free world to be a woman,” TIP said. “Just because every other position that exists, I think a woman could do well. Every other position. But the president, I just know that women make rash decisions emotionally and later they make very permanent cemented decisions and then later, it’s kinda like, it didn’t happen or they didn’t mean for it to happen. I sure would hate to just set off a nuke.”
The Atlanta rapper took to Twitter today (October 13) to apologize for what he said.
“My comments about women running for president were unequivocally insensitive and wrong,” he writes. “I sincerely apologize to everyone I offended.”
DJ Whoo Kid has since set his original video post to “private,” but World Star Hip Hop captured it. The video is below:

I suppose we should assume that his right to vote has been restored. He was convicted of a felony a few years ago over that attempt to purchase illegal guns if I am not mistaken. Furthermore, after all of the bigotry and racism that black people in this country has been subjected to I would think that discriminating against a person because of their gender would be something that we (black people) would be above.
