Timbaland has released footage recounting the creation of Aaliyah‘s “Are You That Somebody?”
Timbaland produced the single for the late singer in 1998 for the Dr. Doolittle soundtrack. The slinky cut ended up nabbing a Grammy nomination for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance the following year, and peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Rhythmic Airplay charts.
